The entire BLM movement is predicated on false narratives. 1) Trayvon Martin was found to be the aggressor against George Zimmerman and that is what caused his death. 2) Mike Brown and the whole "hands up, don't shoot" was a LIE! Proven by not only eyewitnesses but by the forensics.

Over 100 FBI agents investigated the Michael Brown case and found that it was a 100% justifiable shooting.  From memory, the final report has 22,000 pages of evidence.

The lectures I'm referring to are the ones that have nothing to do with your courses, but rather invited speakers.  The "safe spaces" at these universities are literally rooms full of stuffed animals and Disney films, etc where students and staff can go because something they have no involvement with triggered them.

What we are seeing from modern SJWs is that schools/universities because echo chambers that only say/do things the individual student agrees with.  Anything else must be banned.

Google BIG RED or  CHANTY BINX.  She's a nasty feminist who hates the idea of anyone talking about men's issues.  She and her fellow feminists rioted and protested, including pulling the fire alarm to stop a conference on male health issues.    A similar thing, but much more violent, happened to prevent a conference on male-specific cancers.  Not surprisingly, both the universities that this happened at had women's centers, no men's centers.  Of course we all know how oppressed women are.

Blacks make up 13% of the US population.

They make up over 40% of cop killers.

They make up over 50% of all violent crime.

You would think that with such a high "police contact" number, they would be killed at a higher rate.    The fact is, blacks are killed at the lowest rate of "police contact" than any other racial group.  Whites are killed at the highest rate compared to their rate of police contact.

Black cops are the most likely to shoot, while white cops are the least likely to shoot, with the other races in-between. It's only about 12% difference between the 2 ends, but it's there.  So is it really racism when white cops are the least likely to shoot?

You would have a point, ONLY IF, the crime rates were the same among the races and their proportion of the US population.  When you multiply the black population by 5 to equalize it to the white population, your claims completely fall apart.    Now that the 2 populations are equal in size, we have to adjust the crime stats to match, so we have to multiply black crime rates by 5.  Now the robbery rate for blacks is 6 times higher than that of whites.  The same thing happens pretty much across the board.  Except for alcohol laws (DUI, open carry, etc) blacks commit every category of crime at least twice their rate of US Population.

It needs to be noted that federal crime stats include hispanic and latino in the white category, but in the victim stats they separate them out.

Both of your sources are biased, especially Campaign ZERO.    Campaign ZERO want's to decriminalize things that keep the peace between neighbors.  All this will do is cause more conflicts between neighbors.

The Washington Post article talks about Michael Brown.  Umm, over 100 FBI agents investigating that case and they determined that it was justified.  They also proved that the entire "hands up, don't shoot" was a total lie by the black witnesses.  CCTV and other bits of evidence proved they lied.

The immediate worry is how Trump's rhetoric has given a surge of empowerment and free license for people to spew hate/violence. I avoided the news since the election and was curious to know if acts of vandalism/violence against minority groups started to trend up and skimming the first few posts here, was disheartened to see that was the case.

I realize I sound like a broken record if I yet again bring up the similarities in the UK after their referendum vote. But yeah, dramatic increases violence and verbal threats against the the Polish, Muslims, etc and even those who may have been 2nd/3rd generation immigrants.

Long term worry is who will be appointed to the Supreme Court. Hoping for a moderate like Chief Justice Roberts (who I respect greatly because of his fair approach) and definitely hoping a clone of Justice Thomas or Scalia isn't next in line.

For ages in the UK, it was better to be seen molesting children than talking about immigration.  Like with muslims now, the media would whitewash the identity of the people who commit crimes.  After about a day, UK media removed all references to the France McDonald's killer's muslimness.  Without UKIP, the political establishment would have never allowed us to discuss immigration or the EU.

The US has had a similar thing with illegals and more recently with blacks.  There are countless videos on YouTube showing the media whitewashing the fact that black people are committing crimes.  Over the last few years, the media has almost completely ignored the evil things SJWs of all ilks have been up to.  Like with the UK and UKIP, without Trump, the political establishment would never have allowed us to discuss these issues.

You really need to learn the facts.  Michael Brown was deemed to be a justified killing. "Hands up, don't shoot" was proven a lie by over 100 FBI agents.  That was the lie that started BLM.

Blacks are killed at a much lower rate than their portion of the crime rate.    Blacks are responsible for over 50% of the crime rate and over 40% of the cop killings, yet they make up only about 25% of the people cops kill.

Obama and Hillary fed into the race baiting rather than trying to calm it down.

If you are claiming the moral high ground, as the patron saint of the victimized, then you CAN NOT be taking money from a country with one of the worst human rights records.

Black on black crime is the cause for 90% of black murder victims.   When looking at interracial crime, whites are more likely to be victims of black crime, than the other way around.

Blacks, despite only being 13% of the US population, are responsible for 40% of cop killings and over 50% of all violent crimes.
