    • RE: Fallout 76

I enjoy the game for the most part.

Stranger parties are pretty rare, but you will see a lot of friends out running around.  Bethesda did say that Fallout 76 was for questing parties, not so much solo.  They did say they made it so you can play solo, as well., but it's much harder since you quite often get swamped by mobs.

NOTE:  While most of my comments apply across all platforms, I only have direct knowledge about XBox.

If we forget the bugs for a bit, the main problem with the game is that the storyline is driven by holo-tapes and notes.  The holo-tapes are fine but the notes, for the most part, are impossible to read due to the faded nature of the writing compared to the dirtiness of the paper.

Clearly, there are living humans as you see the helicopter things flying around and people talking on the radios.  So it makes no sense that there are no NPC humans in the game.

Events are forced on you if you are in the area.  You must leave the area to stop doing the event.  You can't just go into an area and do a quest if there's an event going.  Events are on a timer, so if you time it right, you can avoid them.  The problem is, if no triggered the event in a while, then you will trigger it.    It would be better if you "signed up" for events in some way so you can go on about your business without having to worry about it.  Event times have been extended so it's not quite as bad as it was at launch, but it's still not good enough.

      OK, on to bug.

Typical of Bethesda, Fallout 76 is full of bugs.  Sadly, in many cases, when they fix one bug, they cause AT LEAST 1 new bug and in some case, they cause several more.

The most recent patch (4 Dec 2018) saw an improvement in the way visuals are dealt with to improve performance.  While there was a performance boost, gold color highlights are now loose and follow your field of vision.  If you shake your in-game head in front of gold highlights, you can fill your screen.  This happens if you move too fast.  If you turn your head slowly, you should be fine.

Seams also seem to be bigger/more noticeable after the recent patch.  You don't really notice it in bright areas, though.

    • RE: Boy, 6, forced to be transgender

I've been watching this story unfold and it's extremely scary.

You know when the kid finally does snap and kills his mother, he'll still get the death penalty.

All this crap is based on the junk science by that Canadian fuck wit (can't remember his name right now) who looked for a boy who was injured during MALE GENITAL MUTILATION so he could convert him into a girl and prove to the world that gender is a social construct aka learned.  Anyway, the kid was fine until he got into his mid-teens than everything went crazy.  He trans-ed back to male when he became an adult, but ended up killing himself.

    • RE: Electoral College

The total number of votes cast in Alabama is lower than the number of votes assigned to candidates.  That is a fact.  Even if we ignore who benefitted from it, the fact remains that more votes were assigned to candidates then votes were cast.

It screams of Broward Co. in Florida with boxes of votes in rental car trunks at airports, an unknown black pickup transferring ballot boxes into official ballot trucks in the middle of nowhere, or sneaking off with ballots and counting them by yourself in another room.

It screams of illegally destroying contested ballots while before the courts like we saw from the same county in a previous election.

Voter fraud is rampant in Democrat districts.

Without the animosity and conspiracy theorizing of Raphjd,

You still didn't respond to this part of my comment.

The animosity comes come liberals always screaming "racism" when saying we need to get rid of the Electoral College.

The so-called "conspiracy theory" has it's own page on leftist Wikipedia.  Even Wikipedia treats it as fact.  I learned about this back when I was in college.

Gotta love the personal attack right off the bat.  Let guess, you're a liberal.

Kinda odd that even leftist Wikipedia has an article on the event you claim is a conspiracy theory.

My animosity comes from battling you lefties for the last few years.

Yes, Hillary won the popular vote over the orange turd by 2mil.

      Ah YES, you're a lefty.

Asia Argento 'sent unwanted topless video to recovering sex addict she knew had a girlfriend' and then 'freaked out' when he got upset, saying she did this 'with all her friends'

Clearly, the left was right to believe all fucking lies, you know, because vag don't lie.

      https://www.gov.uk/guidance/prostate-cancer-risk-management-programme-overview

In the UK, you have a legal right to the PSA and/or other prostate cancer tests.  HOWEVER, GPs are forbidden from mentioning them unless you have symptoms that cause the GP concern.

    • RE: Health care - men are opressed

      https://www.bmj.com/content/359/bmj.j5224

After deduction of clinical lead time cancers, 32% of cancers found in women invited to screening in 2010-12 and 52% of screen detected cancers would be overdiagnosed.

      https://prostatecanceruk.org/prostate-information/prostate-tests/psa-test#advantages-and-disadvantages-of-the-psa-test

The PSA test can miss prostate cancer. 1 in 7 men (15 per cent) with a normal PSA level may have prostate cancer, and 1 in 50 men (two per cent) with a normal PSA may have a fast-growing prostate cancer.

So, breast cancer screening has a 52% failure rate, but Prostate cancer screning has a 15% and 2% failure rate.

Oddly, the official reasons not to have a prostate exam is that you "might worry" about the results, but they don't say that to women about breast cancer screening.

    • RE: Health care - men are opressed

I'll have to dig for some sources.

Anyway, breast cancer screening looks for lumps (like the finger up the butt does), but it can't tell the difference between a fat cyst, scar tissue, and a cancerous tumor.  So they need a biopsy.   Women get breast cancer screening automatically from 47 to 70, but can have it at any time, by requesting the screening.  They can get it once a year, unless they have a specific reason for wanting more or prescribed by a specialist.

PSA tests only tell if you have evaluated levels of Prostate Specific Antigens in your blood.  It fluctuates, naturally.  If it's always high, then there's most likely a problem.

FREE PSA tests look for Prostate Specific Antigens in the body fluids (mostly in urine and blood plasma).  Free PSA is not bound to blood proteins, making it easier to detect.

DRE (finger up the butt) exams are only taught in UK medical schools as a lecture, so your average GP won't know how to properly do this.  Only specialists have "hands-on" experience in a meaningful way.

Biomarker tests looks for tumor cells in bodily fluids and tissue.   You can look for specific types of cancer or you can just do a general screening.

    • US - FCC tells telecoms to end spam/robocalls by Oct 2019 - or else

FCC Chairman Ajit Pai has written to all US telecoms tell them they have until Oct 2019 to end spam/robocalls, or else.    No idea what "or else" means in this case.

The FCC says that 50% of all US calls are spam/robocalls.

The main problem, the FCC claims, is phone number spoofing to bypass caller ids and block lists.    It also makes it impossible to deal with criminals.

It seems that the tech is already out there to solve the problem, but the telecom companies don't want to spend the money on preventing calls that make them money.

    • RE: Electoral College

The Electoral College is there to help keep states like California from running roughshod over the rest of the states, especially the small ones.

I thought you leftists were all about equity and against equality.  Stop flip-flopping.

As I've already shown, Alamaba Dixiecrats stole the Presidency from Nixon via the Electoral College.  It was the most blatant case of voter fraud and it was the Dems who did it.

    • RE: Coconut oil

I never used it for wanking, but I can help with some of your other questions.

      what's a good brand?

It varies by country/region.  The best way to do it is to look to your local health food and/or whole food stores.  Always go for food grade since that will be the purest and least processed.

and what's the best way to store it to prevent solidifying or separating?

If you have a wine fridge, then put it in the bit for red wine.  Don't put it in the bit for white wine as that's too cold for your bits.

If not, then keep it in a cool place out of the sun.    My laundry room/pantry is the only room in the house that doesn't have underfloor heating so that's where we keep stuff like that.  The kitchen is too warm.

    • Fallout 76

Fallout 76 comes out on 14 November 2018.

If you pre-ordered, you can play in the beta.  The beta was supposed to end last night, but they have added 2 more days/times (see attached picture).

It's an interesting concept, but I'm not sure how well it will do.

There are no NPCs, as such, at least not human ones.  Traders are either robots or vending machines.

The story and quests are told through "holo tapes" and written notes.

Bobbleheads are in the game, but unlike other Fallout games, they do not give permanent.  I haven't tried to use one yet, but when looking at the stats, there's a timer icon.  this says that they are either fully consumable or they have a cooldown between uses.

One problem is that you die quite often due to many areas when you get swamped with bad guys trying to kill you.  This wouldn't be a problem but so far each "world" is limited to 6 (I think) players.  This could just be a beta thing, but it's frustrating.

You shouldn't rush to do the main storyline as the game is geared to be done slower so you will end up underpowered when facing the bad guys in many areas.  It's best to do the side quests to gain levels.

Area events are nearly impossible unless a few of you are doing it together.

    • Critical Race Theory and the hatred of whites, especially white men

      https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=55512.0

This thread (in the link), and all those like it, show the hatred by the left of white people, especially white males.

1 poster brought up "critical race theory" which was created in the 80's to blame everything on whites, especially white men.  CRT claims that every white (male) has extreme privilege and oppresses every non-white.   White homeless disabled war vets with PTSD, who've been divorced raped by their wives have extreme privilege over and oppress people like P-Diddy, Obama, Herman Cain, Ben Carson, etc, etc, etc, etc.

CRT says that the majority population is always racist against the minority population.   HOW-FUCKING-EVER, this only applies to white countries.  Non-white countries can't be racist against the minority, because "honkey".   This is why the left will never, ever criticize Zimbabwe, South Africa or any muslim country.

We keep hearing about slavery as it was done by whites, but slavery has existed for at least 5,000 years and it still continues in Africa and the Middle East, but leftists refuse to talk about it.   Instead, they would rather rant about slavery in the white world that only existed for less than 300 years.   They also refuse to talk about how slavery in the west came about because of a black man, Anthony Johnson (himself, a former indentured servant), refusing to let his indentured servant, John Casor, go free at the end of his contract.

Let's also not forget that "slave" comes from the Moorish name for Slav, as in the Slavic people.

Another problem with CRT is that it demonizes whites, even when all races are pretty much the same in whatever area.  As with the thread, I linked too,  it demonizes whites for not dating Asians.  The article and the liberal posters ignore the fact that all races are pretty much the same when it comes to relationships.  Whites are the most liberal when it comes to interracial relationships at about 13% (from marriage records) versus 9% for the other races, on average (based on marriage records).   In the various threads where I've pointed this out, I've been called a racist because the facts don't fit the anti-white narrative.

We see a similar thing when talking about Black Lives Matter and the lies it's based on.   In a previous thread, I used Obama era FBI stats that showed that white cops were the least likely to shoot and black cops being the most likely to shoot, with the other races in-between.  Again, facts, even from race-baiting Obama, is racist if it doesn't fit the anti-white narrative.

    • SNL mocks war vet who lost eye

Anti-body shaming leftists claim that you can't body shame anyone for any reason,  even when it's self-inflicted, like overeating.

However, they clearly believe it's ok to make fun of a conservative who lost an eye due to an IED in Afghanistan.
