BTW, "insurrection" wasn't my word, but the word used by OK Capitol Police and several of the politicians.

Beetlejuice is "seriously considering" (her words) changing the police policy on foot chases due to the death of Adam Toledo.

Her plan, if enacted, is to require every foot chase to be approved by a supervisor or it doesn't happen.

For those that don't know, Adam Toledo was a 13yo who was out with an unrelated adult at 2:30am. They started shooting at random cars as they drove by. The police responded and a foot chase started. The body cam shows Adam stopping next to a fence and raising the gun. It's almost impossible to see without computer enhancement, but he throws it over his head into the lot behind him. The gun was proven to be his due to his fingerprints on it and it was shown to have very recently been used.

So, liberal logic is that if someone commits a crime, like shooting at random cars driving by, the police should just ignore it if they run.

The UK has many protests about climate change, most of which make no sense.

Recently (last few days) they have been smashing business windows to protest climate change. Apparently, they are too stupid to realize that more energy and resources will be needed to replace the windows, leading to more pollution.

It reminds me of the various protests where they clog up the streets, causing massive traffic congestion, doing their hippy dancing, and squirting their titty milk at random people.

They argued that being non-violent felons does not mean they should be denied the right to gun ownership.

In 2008, the USSC ruled in “District of Columbia v. Heller.” in a 5-4 decision said that a blanket ban on gun ownership is unconstitutional. As part of the ruling, the USSC said that it is constitutional to have certain limited restrictions on who can't own guns.
