I'm not talking about the BS civil forfeiture. I'm aware that the governments, in various places, seize the vehicle used in the DUI, regardless of who owns it.

I am saying that an employer doesn't get prosecuted for the DUIs of their employees, unless the employee got drunk at a work event and they let him/her get drunk and drive. It's the same liability bars face.

I don't know of any jurisdiction that would prosecute a business or its owner for a DUI that an employee got unless the employee got drunk at a work event. In this case, the employer would have the same liability as a bar that let a drunk person drive.

There's a huge difference between Walmart paying taxes in Houston and Walmart controlling Houston because it pays taxes.

The closest thing I can think of, is the Amazon deal that AOC killed. Amazon had to pay for road works to support increased traffic and provide a fire and police station, plus an extra ambulance. None of that in any way gave Amazon control of the area. They only had to pay for the extra infrastructure. This is a common practice, unlike the Disney situation.
