@blablarg18 Tucker is not dumb he just plays one, there are multiple instances in which we have access to what he says off mic and camera... the stupidity here is that we have clear data and analysis for years and years, which shows that while the race quotas existed there was class mobility and these kids could aspire to progress and have better income in the future. You might feel that it is a racist criteria because it is, it needed to exist for reparations to a whole group of people who were segregated by society after the end of slavery, the ghettos evolved to projects and then assimilation of some families to even higher positions due to this practice, one could say that this quotas should be reobserved and that the whole percentage should be more transparent, but not entirely removed after all it's a good mechanism to avoid nepotism to further dominate the colocations, basically the logic goes that a kid from a poor family is working extra hard to get the same grade than a kid from a rich family, because time and resources are entirely different.
Now I dislike Obama for several reasons, but why are you talking about his possessions as if it is an hypocrisy, Obama is not the average kid benefitting from a race quota, he did well for himself and that should be the goal for all, even tho I abhor most of his decisions in terms of policy. -
AA has nothing to do with income.
Wealthy blacks benefit from AA, just like poor black kids.
Poor white boys get screwed by AA.
Females, despite being the majority in college, still get AA.
AA is racist and sexist.

@raphjd White men only seem to acknowledge that racism and sexism exist when it affects them. Our society is racist and sexist and AA, which wouldn't be necessary in a perfect world, has done a lot to give opportunities to those who wouldn't have it otherwise. But rich white people don't care about this. White people don't bitch about underfunding public schools, legacy admissions, making higher education more inclusive or affordable.
But so be it. In one year, this Supreme Court has erased decades of progress. The elite of the US have certainly got their money's worth. I am personally looking forward to an eventual national divorce. You all can have all the red states and Fox lovers, and we will take the blue states and MSNBC lovers and we won't have to listen to each other anymore. You can have Arkansas and Alabama and Oklahoma and all the people who live there, and we'll take New York, California and Connecticut and Massachusetts and the people who live there. Sounds perfect to me.

@raphjd while race is part of the quota program it is not the only criteria used by Universities, scores, extracurriculars and a myriad of other factors are taken in account and sure they should as I mentioned be less opaque about it and have an open conversation on the topic, as for poor white boys, there have been cases when they sue the school because they have good enough criteria to enter the race quota marks and win and are admitted, admittedly this happens a lot more in higher league places and trickles students to the lower ones, or to dropping out... in no way it is a perfect system it just worsens by having no quotas at all. If rich black kids do not use this to enter they will just use nepotism, alas papa gives money to aid the institution... you think that only wasps can do that?
