Your history in qBitTorrent will show you all the data that has been transferred since the torrent was added to your client. The stats on the site on the other hand will only show you the status for the current session. If for any reason the session is stopped, such as you reboot your computer or you close your torrent client, the stats on the site will reset to zero. That being said, all totals ARE counted towards your overall totals, which affect your ratio.

RE: Torrents are not connecting on Rtorrent/Rutorrent
This error message means that your torrent client is choking on the SSL certificate. In order to get around this, you need to disable the SSL tracker in your profile. You may also need to change the announce URL in your torrent client. Specifically, change the beginning from
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/
to

RE: Is it Utorrent web have a problem to download?
We were having problems with our tracker earlier, which was causing a lot of stuff to not work. The issue should now be resolved.
no it's not
Is there a particular error messag that you're getting from the tracker?

RE: Can you hide older (recycle icon) torrents?
As far as I am aware, there is no way in which to do this.

RE: Using Feralhosting and I can no longer connect using rutorrent/rtorrent
It should also be noted that users who are using Transmission 3.0 have experienced no end of trouble trying to reach the tracker, and rolling back to version 2.94 seems to resolve the issue.

RE: Tracker offline?
Based on a number of user reports, users who are running Transmission 3.0 are having no end of difficulty with the tracker. As well, users who are using NordVPN have also reported that they are unable to connect to the tracker as well.
When you do try to connect and seed or leech a torrent, is there an error message that you're getting from the tracker, and if so, what is the error message?

RE: Mullvad VPN blocked
Unfortunately, there is no way for us to do this as far as I am aware. What torrent client are you using? Some issues are the result of the torrent client as I've come to recently discover.
More specifically, if you're using Transmission 3.0, we have received a plethora of complaints that it is not working. If you are using Transmission, try rolling back to v2.94. I don't know why this makes a difference, but it apparently does.

RE: Tracker offline?
Another thing that should be noted is that some users (especially ones who use NordVPN) need to use Google DNS to make things work. If you're using NordVPN, enable the custom DNS setting and use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers.

RE: Problem downloading/uploading
There are a lot of things that can cause this. Click on a torrent that is not working, then click on the "Trackers" tab. There should be an error message next to the tracker. It should give us more information about what the problem is.

RE: Using Feralhosting and I can no longer connect using rutorrent/rtorrent
Two things to note…. For users who are having issues with the CA Certificate for our SSL tracker, you can manually change the beginning of the announce URL in your torrent client. Change the beginning from:
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/
to
http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710/
If you want to make this change permanent on all torrents moving forward, click the "Profile" tab at the top of the page, then disable the SSL tracker, and save the changes at the bottom of the page.
For users who are using NordVPN, it has come to my attention that it will only work consistently if you enable the Custom DNS setting and use the servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4These solutions should get you around most issues. If you are not using a VPN and the tracker change does not work, you may need to use a VPN to bypass the issue routing through to our tracker. I use PrivateVPN, as do a number of other staff, and it works GREAT with our system.

RE: Tracker offline?
Didn't work for me :cry2:
Not if you disable the SSL tracker in your profile.
@vegas7uncut

Thanks a lot @MrMazda !Â
But will I have to change the tracker everytime from now ??

RE: Duplicate suggestion..
Given the way that torrents work, this is simply not possible.

RE: Status says seeding 1 torrent and dowloads stall.
hey, mrmazda. i recant. i got the torrents working for a minute, just long enough to get seeders for my torrents. but now, all the settings i've tried with my vpn have failed, including the same settings that worked initially. nordlynx protocol, udp, tcp, obfuscated servers. i use qbittorrent and the error message says simply "not working" 0 peers. do you think resetting my passkey would fix this?
edit: i will try rebooting, thanks
Hi kyle09,
I use both qBittorrent and NordVPN as well and I still can't get torrents from this site to work unless I turn off NordVPN. I couldn't quite understand how you got yours to work. Any advice?
hey sorry for the late response. i haven't tested yet today. at first, all i did on nordvpn was change from NordLynx protocol to UDP and enabled Obfuscated servers. That worked for a while and then it didn't. Just a "not working" message on qBittorrent. So eventually what I did was disable the NordVPN very briefly, just long enough to catch a few seeders on qBittorrent. Exit qBittorrent, then connect to NordVPN and then the seeders will stay even though the tracker will say "Not Working"
edit: on nordVPN there is a setting called Custom DNS. I added 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4Â it's working now!!
This is actually really useful information. Thank you.

RE: Status says seeding 1 torrent and dowloads stall.
There is currently a known database issue affecting some users with the SSL tracker. Try turning the SSL tracker off in your profile settings.
As well, to change the torrents already in your torrent client from SSL to non-SSL change the beginning of the announce URL from
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/
to
It didn't work. As long as the VPN is activated, it would render the torrent, regardless of SSL, to be "Not Working."
Are you using NordVPN by any chance? For some reason we seem to have a lot of NordVPN users who have this problem.

RE: Tracker offline?
how do you turn the SSL tracker off
and is this still a problem as I still cant seedWe just completed the database updates today, so it should be resolved. If it's not, then you can turn the SSL tracker off either by clicking "Profile" at the top of the page, disabling the SSL tracker, then saving the changes at the bottom of the page, then downloading the .torrent files again, OR you can disable it manually for each torrent already in your torrent client by changing the beginning of the tracker announce URL.
Change this:
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/
to this:
http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710/
This will connect to the regular tracker, rather than the SSL tracker.

Have you tried turning off the SSL tracker?

RE: Uploaded torrents allways seed to ratio 1.0 and completely stop?
Sorry to chime in so late… I just noticed this thread now.
What you describe is the #1 sign that you do not have the correct port forwarding settings on your network. You need to make sure that the port your torrent client uses to connect is forwarded through your home router and/or VPN to your computer, both in TCP, and in UDP. This is a critical, yet often overlooked step, necessary to get proper upload traffic with our tracker.

RE: Status says seeding 1 torrent and dowloads stall.
We have received a number of complaints from NordVPN users who are unable to connect to our site. This would appear to be something on the NordVPN side, which is dropping the connection before it reaches our servers for some reason. The reason for this is not currently known, however we are investigating it to figure out what exactly is happening and why connections through NordVPN do not seem possible currently.
