    • RE: What is an otter?

      @WackyRabbit:

      OTTER IS…........

      **The Otter label is either newer or just a lot less known than the others. There are also a couple differing opinions on what this means… but essentially it’s a sub-category of Bears. Otters are skinnier, but still rock the full-out body hair. They will usually be short-ish and although skinnier than bears, they usually still have round-ish features (but sometimes kind of flat, which is where the “Otter” part comes in.)

      A Thin or athletic (not super built) and hairy, part of the larger bear community.

      In the gay world, an otter is considered a thin gay male that is hairy and may or may not use a trimmer to shorten body hair. Some otters have beards, and some do not.

      Otters usually have smaller frames when compared to the heavier cub or bear and look a lot like what you would see in a picture of an otter . . . hairy. This might surprise some people who typically think of otters as smooth.

      Athletic but not super built, a person can be an otter regardless of age and they are considered to be part of the larger bear community. Think of otters being somewhere between cubs and bears. They’re not as massive as bears and are certainly smaller than cubs.**

      BEAR IS…....................

      **The Bear is the polar opposite of the Twink. Bears are large and in charge, wouldn’t dream of shaving ANY of their body hair and frequently don’t wear deodorant. Large and jovial, these beasts range from muscle-daddy to Sumo wrestler, are generally a little older and are usually some of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.

      Characteristically, a bear is a large, possibly heavy gay man that could also be muscular. A fairly large protruding belly is a defining characteristic of a bear.

      Masculinity is also a key feature of bears, and some bears are so caught up in projecting a masculine image that they shun other would-be bears who appear to be too effeminate. That said, many bears consider themselves to be harmless and even playful.

      There are several subtypes of bear, which include:

      Muscle Bears: Bears whose size comes from muscle and not from fat
      Polar Bears: Older bears with gray or white facial and body hair
      Sugar Bears: Effeminate bears that are shunned by more masculine bears**

      WOLVES ARE…....................

      **Semi-hairy, muscular, lean, attractive, and sexually aggressive, wolves are sometimes considered as part of the larger bear community or on the bear spectrum. They can be any age and normally have facial hair.

      In the gay world, a wolf is a lean, muscular, sexually aggressive and semi-hairy man of any age or height. Some might also describe wolves as slimmer bears but there is a lot of disagreement on this. Most wolves have facial hair. Subgroups of wolves can be found in aging wolves, which are gay men with wolf-like features that are starting to turn a bit gray.

      And then there are full-on silver or gray wolves, terms that describes an older wolf with gray or white facial and body hair.**

      Thank you so much for the clarification. 🙂

    • RE: Hairy or smooth?

      @Aleedinver:

      I prefer smooth, but depends by the man and the body hair… there are some porn actor that are good with hair, some that are better without and some that are always gorgeous.
      My bodyhair on chest/belly/back had an awful shape and itched, so I decided to remove it with the laser, but I see men in gym and video that have a good body hair...

      However I came here following the "unread posts", but I'm speaking of muscular people, fat people is a turn-off for me (I'm a little chubby myself, and I go to the gym for that reason...... I can't stand myself...  :blownose:)

      I totally agree with this

    • RE: How much are porn stars paid?

      @36605domtop:

      @2222:

      I don't think they get 5K in amateur studio…

      All I "heard" from Corbin Fisher studios, if they're very high demand model, they could get 1000-3000 for one scene.

      Another, for Men studios, above 500/scene.

      And... gay porn industry usually paid much more than straight porn, that why we often heard this days "gay for pay", straight man as gay acting porn. Gay porn also more less competition than straight porn.

      Agreed. Studios are not paying their models as much as in the past,.  There is so much more competition now, and many more studios, both established an amateur to choose from.  If an actor is getting 5K a scene, he is really popular and working with an established studio.

      I've heard of guys in straight porn being paid as low as $50 per scene. Straight porn is all about the woman, the man is not important at all - only his cock is.

      That is why so many of them venture over to the gay side of the fence.

      Wow only 50 bucks that's crazy

    • RE: Should I drink a shake before or after I workout or both?

      @Spintendo:

      @landerkay:

      Which one is the best option?

      I believe that your focus should be on hydrating yourself before exercising in general, and that because the shake will hydrate you, having it before is your best option.

      Lots of people start their routines in a state of hypohydration, depriving themselves of liquids before they begin. Stover et al. examined the hydration status of recreational gym users prior to completing their normal exercise routine and found that 46% of them were hypohydrated. Volpe, Poule, and Bland examined the pre-practice hydration status in NCAA Division I athletes and found that 66% of them were hypohydrated.

      There seems to be a problem with people who erroneously believe that drinking anything before a workout "slows them down"– but they should know better. Saltin found that decreases in aerobic capacity occur through increases in cardiovascular strain, increases in heat strain, and increases in core and muscle temperature with as little as 2% hypohydration. If you're trying to decide whether to have the shake after because you believe it may slow you down before, then you may be inadvertently hypohydrating yourself, and if that's the case then you should take the shake before.

      But if you feel you're hydrated enough, then by all means have the shake after. Just remember that your endurance performance is also affected by ambient temperature and humidity, which in turn affect sweating and thus hypohydration, so the choice of environment should also influence when you drink the shake.

      Thank you so much man this definitely helped me

    • RE: Do you prefer running on a track or treadmill

      @PumpingMuscl:

      track is more fun if it's with people or friends! treadmill is kinda boring and I noticed that you can run much faster and longer on a track because you're running with your own speed but when you control the speed on the treadmill you get tired fast ! but that's just my opinion 🙂

      Yeah I agree

    • RE: What is your signature hold when wrestling?

      @foxbarking:

      Figure four head scissors.  I used it in high school and it was a very effective way to pin someone.  In high school it was much more difficult to apply than when wrestling with other gay guys… I wonder why...

      @furfiend:

      Don't get burned in the first place.

      You can use things like aloe vera to soothe the skin, and maybe a good moisturizer will protect the skin underneath some.  But, once you've burned the skin, the damage is done.  You can't undo it.

      Thank you I go some this morning and ts not as uncomfortable anymore
