I'm actually not after indie type gay movies because it might end up being a tragedy or depressing.  I figure action would be good fun and would be easier to see muscle guys, haha. And maybe some cute moments without being too camp.

It's exploitative but what are the movies with gay action heroes or characters? I kinda want overly gay macho heroes, not really effeminate in one extreme or practically straight acting but doesn't do anything gay to the point he might as well be straight.

Tyrese Gibson in the Death Race remake was a gay driver but he didn't display any gay tendencies other than having a guy passenger.

Val Kilmer in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang does kiss Robert Downey Jr but he wasn't doing too many action stuff.

Rock n Rolla Bane Mad Max actor was gay and danced sweetly with 300 Leonidas but he wasn't doing any action stuff

How about adventure horror?

The Frighteners was surprisingly great and turns out was done by the lotr Hobbit guy.  The effects might be dated now but it was enjoyable.

Burton's Sleepy Hallow was creepy and funny at the same time.  Loved the mystery.

There's a lot of hot guys who are exploited in music videos, even if it's just back up dancers.  What're the videos that caught your eye?  Boy bands are fine.

There's some hot black guys in George Michael's Fast Love.

Marky Mark was studly on Good Vibrations, even if I didn't like the song.

It's the music that helps it fit seamlessly I'd say.  If you're into transformers, I bet you can connect any of the city fights together.

These are just impressions so not really spoilers.

General thought was it was more emotional and dramatic.  There's action but more pauses for the drama. I didn't like that as much but stuff happened that got to me anyway.  Teared up in one scene.

OMG Nebula!  I thought I'd hate her for being just there in the first one but I loooove her here.  Her contribution turned the movie around for me.

Yondu, he has a much bigger role.  That one, I'm not sure if people will like where it is leading.  He got a badass scene tho.  Part of it was shown in the trailer, sorta.

Ayesha?  Is that the golden priestess lady?  I didn't get her name.  I would have wanted her to chew the scenery more or even be bitchier, hehe.  There's more tho.

Mantis was played for laughs as a clueless 'foreigner doesn't get social or cultural' cues.  I know her from the comics but she isn't a spiritual martial artist in the movie.  She was cute but could have done more.  I didn't get her motivations.

Overall, I think I'd rank the first movie better than it by a bit.  The beginning of this one had no direction I could see but then roller coastered near the end.  Could have been faster for me.  Still a huge blast tho.
