"Trump HAD the power to declassify." Yes. He DID. And if you read the charges against him, you will see why this is not a defense in this case. Some of these documents were of a sensitive military nature, and if even he had declassified them (which he admitted on the tapes that he had not), it would be further proof that he is a dangerous idiot he would have been fired as manager of McDonalds. I know the Trumpanzees are pretty much completely blind followers, but this is a new low, even for them.

Florida, on the other hand, has a LONG list of books being banned from schools most of which deal with homosexuality and race relations. No porn. No one believes children should see porn. @raphjd Actually, if you look back on history, censorship, suppression, and "cancel culture" has been more of a conservative thing: women and minorities being barred from public life, Jews in Nazi Germany, television and film "morality" codes. And, of course, the resurrected book bans. Conservatives just LOVE book bans.
