the OP is just talking about "dating guys".. dating means in my country having dinner + sex. That's "dating". if you wanna date, there are countless app, site to do that. Many many guys say they date when in reality they just fuck. my best friend will never ever admit he just fucks around , no, he says he "dates" : meaning he meet a guy, go to the movies fuck and that's all and if they are lucky they see each other for like a week or 2 .. 2 months at most.. with no strings attached.. meaning they do that with several others guys at the same time but not telling each other they actually "dates " others.  So that's dating. I personally call that a "plan cul " or sex date.. but gays are very hypocrite even to themselves..

concerning your last point.. I dont see what "U turn" you are talking about... Did I asked for the ban of guys putting what the hell they want in their ass? No.. you say you do take steroids but see no result.. are you aware 90% of those sold on the internet or sold by your local dealer are fake?
I did took steroids with of course amino acids ( steroids alone wont do anything), I encountered many fakes, but managed to get real prescription. it did worked great, besides it's absolutely terrible for sex: you can fuck for hours, you get powerful and abundant ejaculation(hence it's used by almost all guys in czech porn ( bel ami and such) ).
sure it's dangerous, you need to be responsible and read a lot on the subject before trying them out. they are also many different kinds.

gays have married women for ages in western societies. I dont see any problem with that. Others, just never married and it was perfectly fine.( great names like Turing, Proust..) I'm here of course speaking for UK, France, Germany. my dear OP, I can't but agree with you as I feel the same .
Truth is with my gay friends, I always say I'm gay and never talk about girls for they are very very intolerant. Straight friends are way more open on the subject. I even went to the length of using " gay " in my avatar name otherwise, gays would put my opinion aside. But I can't have any gay models as I'm really not like them. I tried to be like them when I was younger, but it wasn't me at all. The only one I felt great with was a bi boy. We were about the same with the same views. But remember LGBT represents nothing. those association fill the media with their propaganda but they dont actually represent all LGBT, in my country they are more like a political party of extreme left with which I really often disagree.
I hope to marry and have children ( with a girl of course ) yet I know I will miss something and will always feel incomplete.
In the end I dont have much of a solution to offer you, just that if you do have children your couple will be stronger than the one of 2 guys without. Depends on what you want, but in any case it wont be perfect. just know you aren't alone with theses questions.

Real scientists are agnostic, like Hubert Reeves who believe like any astrophysician there is life out there. The Big Bang was made by what/ who? science can't answer that  you say you dont "believe" in higher power, yet your are mesmerized by nebulas, life on mars and such... so you think all this beauty, the fact condition for life are so difficult to achieve, all this is just pure "hazard"... Most scientist , ( real one, not the local school teacher) Hawking and such, because they do are indeed scientist are impartial and objective and don't make conclusion based on beliefs but on observation, can't exlude that "higher power" that might be at the origin of it all : the big bang.
