It's not like the pyramids have not already been completely raided and vandalized already.  The mummies entombed in them have been removed and put on display like carnival freaks.  The famous Sphinx is missing it's nose because it was shot off with machine guns. 
I'm sure like me, RaphJD has been to the British Museum in London.  It is incredible how much of the history of the mideast is contained in that museum (and most of it is stored in vaults that the public doesn't see).  The reason it is there is.. that's the only place it is safe!  The people in those lands to this DAY desecrate and steal everything historical they can get their hands on, make fake replicas, and sell them to anybody willing to pay for them.

Let's see if anybody can name one country led by a man who had an intense appreciation of art.. that literally STOLE precious art collections - not to sell or destroy - but to store in deep caves to protect them from being destroyed or looted.  This famous man drew up the sketches for the worlds largest museum complex, and had a model built of it - but it was never built.  This same guy was trying to bring back animals from the brink of extinction.. and when they did go extinct, tried to develop similar hybrids to simulate those ancient animals.  He was also a vegetarian who didn't drink, nor smoke, and strongly discouraged anybody else from doing so.

The more you know, the more you have to ask yourself who the real monsters of the world are.

Do you think submitting a complaint to the Helpdesk will help change things? Because this forum is way out of control and obviously raphjd is not willing to be the moderator right now and at least promote honest and adult-level debate. So many users have stopped participating because of the toxicity level here. The childishness is definitely out of control and so is the constant spamming and multiple posts in a row by certain members. How can we honestly debate politics when one side makes a valid argument and the other responds–-or begins arguments---with conspiracy theories or constantly deflects and derails the debate? It is so toxic here that members are withdrawing. Something has to be done about this.

I assume by conspiracy theories you are referring to such things as those in Charlottesville, and Obama's birth certificate.  Even RaphJD was disputing what I said about that birth certificate.. when in fact.. every bit of what I said was correct and provable.  Sheik Obama did not produce that certificate until 1.5 years AFTER becoming president - he should have never been elected.  Sheik Obama was raised as a muslim, in muslim Indonesia until the age of 13 - unacceptable.  That certificate was altered many years after it was supposedly issued - making it a forged document.  Anybody foolish enough to challenge me on any of that - go ahead.

I have two examples to share.  In printed media and cartoons - even animated ones, the caricatures and stereotypes of characters were often extremely degrading.  Black people were portrayed either as being monkeys or primitive jungle savages or lazy childish fools.  Japanese were portrayed as being evil, sinister, and lacking souls.  Italians, jews, Germans, muslims all got some stereotypical treatment.  To understand history, you have to know how people were thinking at the time.  If you search on Youtube, you can find some examples of old-timey cartoons that you will NEVER see on television anymore because they are not politically correct.

Also, at the university I attended, they had a large collection of old books from pre-1900 which they kept in glass casee.  Those books and music compositions were mind-bending.   Again, other than some hidden away, untouchable archive - you will not see any of that stuff anymore.
