Oh, I like that "certain type" of bald guy, as well. A bald (or balding) guy with the right facial hair… >:D

I hope this helped, K? Also, the one in the photo is from Walmart, if I recall. Happy hunting!

RE: Should I or shouldn't I? (a game)
I should listen to Wicked, and for that matter, should see the musical itself.
It's the Broadway show I keep "in my pocket," in case I need to entertain guests with kids when I'm up in NYC. And still waiting. I think it is the new Cats, will be around forever for me to catch.
I looked up Wicked to see if it won the Tony for Best Musical for 2004, and almost fell out of my chair when I saw the award went to Avenue Q, which I have seen, but seems very lightweight, imho.

Anyway, perhaps an easy SIoSI – to see Dear Evan Hansen? (Has anyone?)

RE: Help with Terminology
Hi there K,
I think you might have gotten a faster response in the "Around the House" Topic, but I hope this helps:
Google the term "Shower Caddy," and then hit "Images." You'll find lots of items with a hook for hanging over the shower head.
Please be sure to send me a photo of you using it in the shower. >:D

RE: THIS or THAT: the game
Bar food with friends: Peanuts. But most of the time, I consider the olive in my martini as the "food snack."
In a bar, looking for Mr. Right or Mr. Right Now, I can't stand the smell of peanuts or popcorn. On me, or him, for that matter.
THIS or THAT: Fresh and Warm: Vanilla or Butterscotch Pudding?

RE: Do you have a major fetish?
It's NCAA men's basketball season, so I'd have to say, athletic armpits. I guess that makes it a seasonal fetish, lol.

RE: What song are you currently listening to?
In a nod to our resident Aussie, bb72, I'm listening to Somebody That I Used To Know. Gotye Featuring Kimbra.
(Gotye is a Belgian-born Australian).
He appears to be naked in this music video, but in a tasteful, no-penis way:

Here's a recipe for Rogan Josh, JA can chime in if he feels his is better:
http://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/rogan-josh-211487
Does anyone have a recipe for Josh Groban? Or the new, siimmer Seth Rogen?
I'm a sunset person, Cuervos. I could never advise you to wake up early on weekends.
SIoSI buy Girl Scout Cookies (stoner food, full of sugar and preservatives) as a means to support their cause?
-
RE: THIS or THAT: the game
First, note to Cuervos, last response, above. Send us a post office box address so we can all send you a pair of long white socks. Are they knee-high athletic socks, or high-end silk socks?
Do you want them still in the package, or worn? And if worn, does that mean on our feet, or some other appendage?
Now, bb72, I would choose the guy with the great personality. I interpret great looks as runway models, conventional porn stars, or guys in cologne ads. I always like the guy who has more unconventional looks and personality.
THIS or THAT: Nicole Kidman or Tom Cruise? Judge by any combination of film career, the divorce, their personal lives, with a brief explanation.

RE: Should I or shouldn't I? (a game)
Well, of course you should go to the queer religious study group (or any church activity) for grub, I assume the spirit moves them to make treats like Heavenly Hash. :afr2:
I'm an atheist, and recently was invited to a friend's church service and fun activities to follow. His church (Episcopal) is pretty close theologically to my lapsed faith (Lutheran), and many of the rituals are the same.
I'm sure that pipe organ will play three or four hymns. Should I sing along, or stand silently?

RE: THIS or THAT: the game
By a (severed) nose, I have to give it to Stephen King. I recall reading The Shining as a teen on a cruise ship (shades of the Overview Hotel re: hallways, etc.) before bed. I had an interior cabin that went pitch-black for sleeping, and it scared me out of my wits. :afr:
But I'm also a fan of Mr. Barker. They each have such an impressive body of work.
THIS or THAT: The combined film works of Quentin Tarantino or David Lynch?

RE: THIS or THAT: the game
(Previous ToT In truth, wealth has an impressive record of curing loneliness, albeit with the completely wrong type of people…
Moving to the question at hand, I'd much rather learn a language, like Spanish, and then go to, say, Argentina, and spend a lot of time on the tango. And by the tango, of course, I mean fucking.
THIS or THAT or the OTHER: Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Bellini

RE: Should I or shouldn't I? (a game)
I love Eugene Levy's work in that particular cluster of actors and movies (Best in Show, For Your Consideration, A Mighty Wind et al).
I don't love his work as much in all the American Pie-style projects, but I understand the need for a paycheck.
As I think Schitt's Creek is more like the former, I say you should binge it.
SIoSI buy a Roomba? Can they really be effective, or is it a near-useless gadget? At the very least, is it something my cats can ride or chase for amusement?

RE: Lana Del Rey or Lorde?
Well, it's certainly a good time to "bump" this thread, seeing that Lorde is at #6 in the Billboard Alternative Album chart for February 10, 2018, with Melodrama.
Meanwhile, Lana del Rey is at #14 with Born to Die, which has spent 179 weeks (!) on that chart, and is also at #19 with Lust for Life.
All three albums have held the #1 position. These ladies are heavy hitters, no matter your preference.

RE: What song are you currently listening to?
Just What I Always Wanted – Mari Wilson (1982)
Some called Mari a novelty act, others part of the "alt-glamour wave" or such. Listen to it twice and you'll never be rid of it, hopefully for the better. A top-10 hit in the UK; stateside, a heavy rotation on MTV, which was established the year prior.

RE: Post the last movie you've seen and how you rate it
As a follow-up to your comments on Mother!, DCLXVI, I went to see it with virtually no prior research, including no media reviews.
Even though my school days included much reinforcement of the "Spoiler" angle, it went completely over my head during the viewing. I walked out perplexed, and would have assigned it a "5."
I have plans to view it again, and already know that my "number" will be higher the second time around.

RE: Thank you for FreeLeech
To quote one of my mentors:
"Cheers, sweetie. Yeah. Cheers. Thanks a lot." – Patsy Stone, various AbFab moments
I raise a glass to GT for the Freeleech!

RE: THIS or THAT: the game
I enjoy guys who are not at the hard (pun?) end (pun?) of either point on the spectrum. But in general, I like the driver's seat over the back seat (pun!).
THIS or THAT? South Park's Terrance or Phillip.

RE: Should I or shouldn't I? (a game)
Hmm… John, even though you skipped right over my potentially life-altering question about The Shape of Water, I will answer your idle musings about your royal blue (involuntary eye roll) Fair Isle Sweater.
No, you should not add a grey/gold pattern line.
You should add a lime and orchid pattern line.
SIoSI consider a career as a fashion designer?
