Writing. Hands down. If written well, then the viewers will follow. Also, it seems to me that the actors get "a better feel" of their characters after the first season and grow more as far as character development is concerned. That said, those two factors are the things that keep me interested in a television series. But, writing is key.

RE: What TV Series Has The Best Male Nudity?
Did Looking have a lot of male nudity? I can't think right off the bat. Other than that, Queer as Folk, Oz, and True Blood are the ones I can think of right now. I'm hearing things about Euphoria and Sparticus.
But, I'm one of those that enjoy a good story. If it's written well, then I'll watch it. True Blood had me hooked in the beginning, but then, it got too uncomfortable for me to watch.

RE: Marjorie "the Clown" Greene confuses Pelosi and Seinfeld
@bi4smooth Well, that's why she's doing it. News coverage for any politician gets supporters to donate money to their upcoming campaign. In Marjorie's case, it's intentional as she's not going to shuck out her own personal money for her campaign. Considering her district which is Congressional District 14, the population is 732,133. So yeah, she's flappin' that mouth for some campaign dough to all the people who need 5-second mental masturbation.

RE: Conn. school 'pizza' assignment using toppings as sexual 'likes' and 'dislikes' was a 'mistake: Superintendent
I would have considered olives as anal and anchovies as a vagina I suppose. Then, mushrooms for dick, pepperoni for a rosebud. Italian sausage or hamburger for genital warts. Peppers for poppers. Not that I'm into genital warts, but I'm just trying to envision these toppings and how they could possibly relate to human sexuality, lol!
The main key that interests me is that this assignment was done in a school somewhere in rural Connecticut. I'm assuming that it's somewhere in rural Connecticut as the news story doesn't reveal the name of the school or the town. However, viewing this from a sociological lens, it kind of makes me wonder how this assignment would have been received in an urban school as compared to a rural one.
Interesting story to read though.

RE: Onlyfans should have gone under...
LOL! I don't take Only Fans that seriously at all and I agree from other posters that the majority of those vids are just solo masturbation videos that are about as dull as Dawn dishwater. Then again, there are some performers that I feel take their content and page way too seriously. For example, not only do they perform their norm, but are also screenwriters and directors.Only Fans is not a studio although I must give credence to performers who want to treat it with some quality without taking it too seriously if that makes sense.
I recently saw one with Chris Damned and Marty Mar and I laughed because everything seemed okay considering its amateur porn. All of a sudden, before you know it, Chris Damned apologizes and says that he got caught up in the moment and forgot to press record, lol! But, to prove he shot his load, he shows his cum all over Marty's chest, lol! I'm not a hater, but I did laugh out loud because I can weirdly imagine how devastated his subscribers are feeling screaming, "We've been cheated!" No, I honestly don't know but I did find it humourous.

RE: hello everybody
@tonymanero75 Hi and welcome, Tony! It'll take a small bit of time to do some navigation and get familiar with the layout (well, for me it did), etc., but once you have your preference settings the way you want to see them, it'll be a breeze.

RE: Any VPN recommendations for torrenting?
@gayfox996 ^^ Oops. I meant Fing and not Ping.

RE: Any VPN recommendations for torrenting?
@gayfox996 I use CloudFare for DNS service as privacy is more of a concern for me. I don't trust Google at all, but as far as mainstream public DNS services, Cloudfare is reliable. Depending on your geographical location, I would download Ping as it works well and can determine which DNS service is best for you going by geographical location. However, your inquiry is about VPN service too. This one is a doozy as I use several of them, lol! I'll list the pros and cons based on my own experience.
Cyberghost
Pros-
Affordable (usually 83% off for three years)
-
Student discounts are avail
-
Good for Windows, MAC, Chromecast, Roku, Firestick, etc.
-
Have a Dedicated IP address option for customers (extra $$)
-
Can provide an IP address for you to manually put in your Xbox or Samsung Smart TV for a faster and more reliable streaming service. For a full list, visit: Cyberghost
-
24hr Customer Service (via chat online)
-
Have different services for streaming and torrenting services in over 90+ countries with over 4,000 different servers
-
Have their own private DNS service
-
I use a Dedicated IP address for "underground" apps like Cinema HD, LiveNet TV for reliable streaming and no buffering.
-
Have both Open VPN and Wireguard options
Cons
-
Customer service isn't that exceptional, but I'll take what I can get.
-
Check from time to time if your Cyberghost VPN is indeed working correctly.
ProtonVPN
Pros-
Reliable service
-
If you do not like Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, etc., they also offer email services with encryption (Check out Tutanota as well)
Cons
- Costly
AVAST
Pros
-
Affordable with other services (e.g., Cleanup) up to 10 devices
-
Reliable VPN for streaming and torrenting for computers
Cons
-
AVAST firewall protection might have some obstacles at first.
-
They will entice you with their other services like Anti-Tracking and Driver Update. I'm guilty as charged, but I'm happy with the service.
-
Customer service can be a challenge as they are located in the Czech Republic.
Overall, if this is for your PC or Laptop for torrenting, streaming, and firewall protection, I would recommend AVAST or even Bitdefender. Cyberghost is good too, but I tend to favor them with streaming and Dedicated IP services.

RE: Dexter: New Blood
@flozen Oh, wow. 8 million viewers. That's good considering premium channel viewership. Last I read before the series finale, the ratings were ... meh. However, I'm not shocked. Guiding Light rose to #4 in daytime ratings for their finale after 72 years in radio/television history. I guess for me, I was clinging on to hope that Dexter: New Blood would've had more episodes than just 10. Come to think of it, didn't Twin Peaks: The Return had a revival with 16 episodes? I can't think right now, lol! BUT! Twin Peaks left me a satisfied viewer.
Basically, it needed more episodes to cover every angle as there was so much to be told. For any finale, you gotta do it right.
If there will be a spin-off that features Harrison, it will be a good move on Showtime's part as most of their shows don't seem as if they cater to the 18-34-year-old demographic and that's the audience that every network or streaming service wants to grab or target after. In the world of streaming, the competition is getting real if HBOMax or Showtime wants to stay afloat.

RE: Good movie torrents?
@noahs I forgot all about the no ratio rules. Where the hell have I been? 1337x has a great music selection and movies like Matrix Resurrection, etc. are posted quickly. I think the traditional torrent site where they are posted first is Pirate Bay but overall, I like the look and feel of 1337x.
-
RE: Last album you bought?
Oh my goodness. The last physical album I bought was probably Britney Spears Circus.
-
RE: Good movie torrents?
For the freebies where member registration is not required, I usually go to YIFY Movies or 1337x.

RE: Dexter: New Blood
@flashboy I so agree. In my opinion, it felt contrived as the dynamic between Dexter and Kurt Caldwell didn't feel as if they had a reason to be archrivals or whatnot. It's hard to explain because, in only ten episodes, it seemed like episode 6 had some real potential going as far as the subject of character development is concerned. However, in episode 7, the writers did this whole entire 180-degree turn to where it was plot-driven instead of character-driven.
It wasn't THAT bad of a finale, but yet, it was. I always find it laughable when actors appear on talk shows (Michael C. Hall in this case) like The View or Late Night With Stephen Colbert and they talk about how revivals are dedicated to the fans because in most cases, dedicated fans had felt cheated from the series finale before (e.g., Dexter; Sex And The City). Yet, the revival is a bust and still pissing off the fans, lol!
Going back to Dexter: New Blood, trying to wrap it up in 10 episodes is impossible to do. It wasn't just Kurt Caldwell, but the estranged relationship between Dexter and his son Harrison wasn't well written either. Yeah, it needed more depth, and you can't do that in one season. That's why it felt contrived to me.

RE: One star spammer!
@leeniedo LOL! Wow. Apparently, it seems as if people have got a lot of time on their hands. Yeah, I don't pay much attention to that nonsense, but it can be mysteriously entertaining at the same token. I think I've had one person give a four-star rating when I just uploaded it and larger files take more time to download. So, for someone to give it a four-star rating, either they've already seen it or they probably
want 2 or 3 seed points I suppose.Going back to the one-star rating fanatic, I don't know what to say. If you look at the grand scheme of things, I think we all know how the whole movie will unfold, you know? So, what are they expecting? A sock-puppet show?

RE: OF Sevastian Silva
@guiymm9808 Gotcha. I believe you posted this in the wrong thread then.

RE: mcaffee is blocking utorrent today
Oh, man! I feel the pain already. I never had that experience with McAfee before, but Malwarebytes was all up in my grill regarding utorrent, lol! So yeah, I had to do those steps described above. Presently, I have AVAST and I definitely had some firewall issues with them in the beginning, but no issues now. Thankfully.
-
RE: OF Sevastian Silva
I'm confused. Are you having trouble uploading files of this guy? Or, are you requesting a couple of torrent files?
If this is a request, I've tried looking, but I don't see anything on him. Is the performer perceived as "mainstream" in the industry? If not, then that may be the reason why his amateur work is not as obtainable. I'm not sure.

RE: UTorrent Seeding Bar is Red
@bubuchu Thanks for the reply. I just wish I knew what is going on and why UTorrent is so temperamental.
-
RE: UTorrent Seeding Bar is Red
I'm looking at the tracker status and they all say that the gaytorrent.ru trackers are offline.
-
RE: UTorrent Seeding Bar is Red
Yeah, I'm currently having this situation where all porn stuff is a big red bar, but everything else like Amy Winehouse, The Path, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Nine Perfect Strangers, Sex Education, and Sense8 are seeding perfectly.
