    • RE: Would you have sex in a public restroom?

Tried it once with a friend. We both got horny so slipped into the mall rest room for a quick blowjob. The thrill was in the thought of getting caught.  😄

Sun for me- just need to be careful not to burn.

    • RE: And now for something completely different…

It seems to me that if you want to have more meaningful relationships the only real solution is to go out there and make them. Easier said than done, I know.

You have two main ways- meet them online- yes even on a porn site like this. It's possible to get along with and find some connection with the people you meet on chat or on forums.

The second way is to take on activities you enjoy and hopefully meet someone who enjoys the same things you do. Even if it is only as a friend- who knows–someone you know might introduce you to a future relationship.

If you feel that porn is holding you back though, you have a decision to make- you may want to give it up and push yourself to find more meaningful connections.

    • RE: Pope comes out in support of Mexico's bishops to oppose gay marriage

Disappointing but not really surprising. He is part of an institution that has opposed marriage equality in the past, and still continues to do so.

The Catholic church will not change overnight, or even over decades- it will take time if ever before they can come to terms with the fact that they are fighting a losing battle over ownership of the concept of marriage, which predated the church in the first place.

    • RE: Beneath the Skin

Looks interesting- thanks for the recommendation!

If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend 'Mysterious Skin'. There are multiple versions up on the site. It's based on a really well written novel.

    • RE: Do you wait with the cooking till you're too hungry to prepare a good meal?

I used to fall into that same trap all the time. What I finally did was to prep a batch of food good for a couple of days and I could just reheat it when I get hungry.

Either that or have some fruit to keep hunger in check until I can finish cooking.  🙂

    • RE: Women who like Gay Porn

I'll add my own curiosity to yours. I have read articles in the past about the phenomenon of Japanese Yaoi manga having a very large female readership- and the appeal at least for those types of comics centers around the more romantic aspects of the relationship between two men.

Related to this, it also surprised me to find that a large number of m/m romance writers are women- maybe even a majority in fact. And they don't shy away from explicit depictions of sex too.  😉

    • RE: Any fans of animated movies?

There are tons of great animated movies I've enjoyed- from both the US (Pixar/Disney) and Japanese animation as well.

Zootopia is one of the more recent favorites, and then there are the Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away.

    • RE: Who reads MM books? TOP 5 FAVE AUTHORS/BOOKS

M/M refers to male-male pairings or gay romances.

I haven't tried those authors yet- I'll give them a shot.

Here are some of my favorites:

1- Josh Hunter- Settling the Score series
      2- D.J. Heart - Omega series
3- G.A. Hauser- too many to mention
4- Kora Knight- Upending Tad series
      5- Stormy Glenn

I don't have as much time now, but it was a lot of fun reading them back when I had lots of free time.

    • RE: Are you top, bottom or versatile?

Versatile- though TBH been leaning more to bottom recently-it's more fun specially with the right guy.

    • RE: What feels better, being a bottom or being a top?

There are unique pleasures at either position. Some like one over the other- but personally I think if you find enjoyment in both positions then you are really lucky. I never really understood those who would just like to be exclusive top or bottom.

    • RE: Older Guys :D

As others have said, there is the benefit of having more experience and a certain calm patience. But there is also the different perspective- they grew up in a different time and they can enrich your life by sharing that with you. This can sometimes cause friction though, so it is all give and take.

    • RE: Never had to come out?

Haha! Yes, it's pretty much Christmas for me too. That's the one time you really can't get out of it, and it can be nice and pleasant.

You're right about giving them time. Mostly they adopted a sort of don't ask don't tell hands off approach- I don't talk about guys at family gatherings, and they don't push me to find a girl and get married.

    • RE: Never had to come out?

I come from Asia- specifically the Philippines- where almost 90% of the population is Catholic. I was raised Catholic, grew up with all my relatives being Catholic (some more serious about it than others), and here there is no chance for gay marriages or even civil unions.
Things are shifting, though much more slowly than in the West- my friends and I don't really go to church at all. I know some wonderful, accepting people who have become my good friends. But it is hard for my own family to accept my being gay.

    • RE: Is it worth it?

I get where you're coming from. Sometimes it can all seem so futile and pointless. In the end, it's really up to you what you think is worth pursuing in life. We all have our limits, and if you've reached yours maybe stop for a while and recover.

For me, I have always been a hopeless romantic. I will keep trying to find someone who I can spend the rest of my life with. If and when I succeed, I know the result is worth all the heartache, the effort and failures along the way.  :hug2:

On another note- reading some of the great m/m romances from the Books and Magazines section might help keep you going.  ;D

    • RE: Never had to come out?

Wow- let me just say I envy the position you are in. It's good you recognize how fortunate you are to be in a country/environment that is so accepting. So you never had to speak to anyone about who you are attracted to? In my country, there is still quite a stigma and there is a lot of ridicule/judgement that can come from certain people specially the very religious. Coming out is something that was a sort of rite of passage- where you stood up for who you are and faced down the people who insisted you are going straight to hell.
