How can't I? Nearly half of the countries where homosexuality is criminalized retain Section 377, a "buggery" law directly imposed during British colonization. The majority of the countries in the world where homosexuality is illegal are predominantly Christian. Not to mention the fact that LGBTI people are dying every day, even in the US, both by means of extrajudicial and state-sponsored violence.

RE: Chechnya
By the way, you've excluded a whole slew of Christian nations who continue to extrajudicially execute gay men and trans women as well as enact 'corrective rape' and murder against lesbian women

RE: XX and XY Bathroom Bill
Okay; your entire chromosomal defense isn't rooted in science and completely erases the existence of intersex people (let alone degrading trans people).
And to be fair: can you recount any instances of trans women raping another woman in a women's bathroom? Seems like the majority of the bathroom problems revolving around indecency and rape tend to be related to gay cis men, NOT trans women.

RE: Chechnya
Lord. What is it with all the hateful, misinformed people on this damn site?
By no means has Chechnya been ignored; it's probably more accurate to say that Chechnya has been hyper-analyzed at the expense of abuses happening at the same time in Iran, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Brazil. It's unclear to me how you could even come to the conclusion that it's been ignored unless you've either completely forgone the internet for the past two months or you've limited your engagement to alt-right, Nazi forums.
Chechnya also isn't as simple as blaming Muslims. We need also remember that homonationalist tendencies to place LGBTI (really, just gay) rights as a crux of moral supremacy vis-à-vis international relations has significant drawbacks.
In the circles I work in, which you might deride as "SJWs" when in fact we're human rights professionals trained and educated in human rights methodologies, we've been relating the backlash in Chechnya to two things: First, the fact that the detentions were sparked by a Russian group pressing for a pride parade in Chechnya, which obviously was a faulty tactic. This was something Chechen activists noted from the start. Second, the "vodka boycott" surrounding Russia and the winter Olympics a few years back cemented gay rights as a particular point of symbolic contention between Russia and the "West", resulting in the hyper-visibility of SGM populations, and thus their increased targeting for violence.
Please try to learn something about the world before spouting off your uninformed bigotry on an anonymous comment thread. I've said this in other forums, but it's such a ridiculous shame that gay men themselves have become a burden and a barrier in social justice work. Your anti-Muslim bigotry isn't helping anyone, especially the LGBT Muslims whom I work with and whom are pushing everyday to change the narrative of Muslim backwardness when there are billions of Muslims who are just as modern as you are.

RE: Have you ever met some muslims who come out?
I work at the United Nations with progressive Muslim groups advancing global LGBTI equality. I know dozens and dozens of out gay Muslims, as well as out lesbian, bi, trans, queer, etc. Muslims. Islam is not one thing; there are billions of Muslims in the world who practice their faith in very different ways. Not all Muslims condemn homosexuality the same as not all Christians condemn homosexuality.
It is completely ridiculous that any of you people would take to an anonymous forum on an illegal site to spout your ignorant, misinformed, and outlandish bigotry. Even more ridiculous that I'm having to post on a site of presumably gay users that maybe possibly we shouldn't be closed-minded assholes.
I've devoted my life to advancing LGBTI equality at home and abroad. I cannot explain how frustrating it is that gay men have so proudly become an impediment in that work.
Grow up.

RE: Tried jerking off in a public Urinal?
Yeah—many times. Been blown underneath the stall wall countless times too.
Be careful, since sometimes an interested person can actually be a cop.
Best advice: check out cruising listings on sites like squirt.org to find out where the hotspots are (and read reviews and comments to see which ones to avoid).

RE: Sex with more people
Don't take him for his word—even people who have the best intentions can be wrong. There are windows in STI testing where tests may be nonreactive or only slightly reactive. And, you don't know what people are not telling you.
If you really want to have bareback sex, get on PrEP—period. Talk to a doctor and get a prescription. If your insurance doesn't cover it, look into Gilead's Advancing Access coupon program which will give you up to $3,600/year toward copays for PrEP.
You're not a slut; two partners is hardly "sleeping around". Speaking as someone who frequents sex clubs and can have a dozen or more partners in a single night… don't internalize expectations over your pleasure, and don't feel ashamed for pursuing what turns you on. THAT SAID—educate yourself and protect yourself. An entire generation of gay men didn't die for you to not wear a condom and not take PrEP. It's reckless.
