XX and XY Bathroom Bill
-
I'm going to introduce a new bill to all Legislators across the nation that all bathrooms should do away with the traditional "man" and "woman" symbols and just use "XX" and "XY." Hopefully some of them will pick up on this and institute it. Because I'm sorry if you feel you need 80 different genders, that's dumb. One of my best friends in the world was transgender, and this just draws attention to a protected group that is totally unnecessary. We only have TWO genders, chromosomes don't have 80 different expressions. I don't care what you "think" you are. I don't need Chuck Schumer to stand up for my rights as a gay person. I don't even need a gay person to do that. I don't particularly care about gay rights, I care about INDIVIDUAL rights. No one can speak for me. Madonna can't speak for me, bitch. I'm sorry also if you can't understand that a dude in a wig shouldn't be allowed in a girls restroom with a six year old girl or in the girl's locker room doing a panty raid just because he feels like a woman today. Don't give me that victimhood crap. I get yes, there are trans-gressions against transgender people, but this is a violation of common sense and is nonsense. As a gay man I cannot support this total garbage and it needs to stop now. If you hate me for it, too bad.

It's a safety issue. Letting a dude in a locker room with girls just because he wears a wig and claims to be of some gender, is a recipe for rape. I'm totally against it and do not see it as a civil rights issue whatsoever. Period.

Don't blame men for rape.
Look at all the 35+yo women bouncing on 11yo boys and getting away with it because of "gender equality".

well minorities with XYY might not be okay with that ;D

Next people will demand custom toilet facilities for conjoined (Siamese) twins.

One problem I see with this is that XX vs. XY is not 100% determinate of biological sex either. Examples: trisomy XYY ("supermales"), trisomy XXX ("superfemales"), trisomy XXY (male but with more pronounced feminine features), monosomy X0 (female but less pronounced feminine features), XY with androgen insensitivity (genetically male, biologically female), XX with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (born and genetically female, develops male secondary sexual characteristics and genitalia shape at puberty), genetic mosaics who are born with both XX and XY cells in their body (determined by individual growth and development, mosaics with up to 90% XY can still develop naturally as "female" and even give birth provided the XX part of their bodies happen to be dominant in their reproductive organs), XX with an SRY gene on one of the X chromosomes (genetically and biologically male), or XY and missing the SRY gene (genetically and biologically female). And how would you check for this without testing and extensive interviews to rule out any/all of the above. Seems that also violates individual liberties to me.

Okay; your entire chromosomal defense isn't rooted in science and completely erases the existence of intersex people (let alone degrading trans people).
And to be fair: can you recount any instances of trans women raping another woman in a women's bathroom? Seems like the majority of the bathroom problems revolving around indecency and rape tend to be related to gay cis men, NOT trans women.

Do you mean that guy that was caught taking photos of half naked girls in the changing room? He was able to get away with it because he claimed to be a woman.
Also, please keep in mind that in the UK and some other countries, women CAN NOT commit rape. In India, women can not commit any sex crime or domestic violence. So it's not exactly honest to ask about women "raping" a person when there is no gender equality in many countries.

Pretty sure we already have laws against rape in this country!

People are being ridiculous about this, it's just a toilet for f**k sake!
Does it really matter if you're gonna p!ss or sh!t in men's or women's toilet?!
I mean - if you don't need to do that really bad then you'll probably hold it until you get home (where your toilet is probably unisex).
And if you need to do it asap then believe me - you won't think about genders, you'll just be happy that you're not gonna p!ss or sh!t in your panties. And what about small places like coffee shops where they can barely fit two toilets, do they need to close just because they aren't able to have like 5 options for all genres, sexualities and everything inbetween?!
Stop making so much fuss about this nonsense!

I never had a karyotype test to determine what my chromosomes are, so I have no clue what they are. Which bathroom should I go to, then? Better have a third bathroom for "unknown/unspecified", methinks. How about something like those gender-neutral bathrooms that already exist in this planet on this very day and which people of any and all genders can already share without any sort of problems or inconveniences arising? That sounds like a plan to me.

Some are you are trying to bring science into a thread started by mhorndisk. People like him simply do not live in our reality; therefore, XX and XY are the ONLY chromosomes that determine someone's sex. In his reality, you can't have an extra Y chromosome or have any other chromosomal abnormalities because there's only XX and XY. There's only one way you can honestly reply to any of his posts: :crazy2:

Yeah, nobody rapes because it's illegal.
In the UK, rape is illegal and but only men rape. Of course UK women are lovely and perfect, not a single woman in the UK has ever committed rape and several other types of sex crimes. The same/similar thing with India, Israel and other countries.
