@raphjd said in Liberals storm US Interior Department - liberals remain silent on act of domestic terrorism:
Of course, you forgot storming the Senate building, as well as trying to storm the SCOTUS building. Not to mention all the other acts of domestic terrorism I posted, from Wikipedia that even they called domestic terrorism in DC.
You liberals will never change.
I didn't forget anything - I looked at the exact "comparison" you proposed and "dug deeper" - some might call that "critical thinking" - in that I didn't just take what you said as "gospel", but rather looked at what you wrote, applied other knowledge, and determined to what extent your post was true...
In the BIG points, it was true: there were activists who stormed the Interior department.
I'm not really sure this rose to the level of "domestic terrorism" - it was a sit-in, not a bombing. There were also no weapons found on the protesters.
But even if I gave you that point: there is a difference between "domestic terrorism" - which is awful...
and insurrection - which is treason.
YES: Jan 6 started as a protest - but these protesters brought weapons & threatened the lives of public officials. Also, these protesters didn't want a change in government policy, they wanted a change in government!
That's treason!
So, I didn't totally disagree with your post about the protest at the Interior Department... I just disagreed with your use of that protest to create a completely false comparison to the Jan 6 insurrection in a blatant attempt to "minimize" and "normalize" the Jan 6 events.
Sorry Comrade - that page on the KGB handbook was leaked & the tactic won't work here.
You cannot compare a planned sit-in with a planned insurrection. Not gonna fly!
You may as well compare the Cuban Missile Crisis with the Edward Snowden impasse...
