But as is my understanding many places send those e-mails, but they basically mean nothing, unless you respond to them. I've heard of cases when people responded to the e-mails and the company went after them.
So the best thing you can do about those e-mails is to ignore and delete them, they can't do anything about it. Answering is the worst option.

Also most websites you can access the source code to download the video, there's tutorials online probably, it's not hard to do.
@Kowmei I think it's probably a combination of factors, first it's a fetish, kinda like straight men like watching lesbian porn, second a lot of straight porn is made for straight men, so the way it's filmed, the way it's acted, the way it's conducted, it's mostly to satisfy straight men. @padmasana I believe you can consider it addiction if it has a negative impact in your life. Most researches related to porn are circunstancial, so they don't really provide any real evidence to support if porn is good or bad, so as it stands it ins't a physical or mental health issue.
So, it's all up to the individual to decide. If you don't do stuff you need to do because you need to watch porn, if watching porn hurts your relationships, or anything like that, I'd say it's time for you to find something else. But if porn is just something you like to do in your free time, and you just think you do it a lot, it's not a big deal.
Again, in short, if watching porn affects your life negatively, then it's a serious problem that you should take care of, if it's just an activity you do on your spare time because you enjoy it, there's no real need to stop doing it.
Now how to deal with it, depends on how porn affects you. If it's an actual addiction, then I'd say try getting some professional help. If it's something you do on your free time but you want to do less, finding other hobbies and filling up your time with other things usually helps.

@enigma69 If you are watching the video in your computer there are ways to get it. If you don't want to use extensions you can just use the source code. Basically play the video you want, then right click on the website go to Inspect Element, find the video, open the link and done, you can download it.
But of course, the chrome extension is easier, hehe.

@Vin20 You could try checking the source code of the page (just Right click near the video, go to inspect element and try to find the video), that's what those extensions do.
Many websites have ways to go around it, so if that's the case is a whole lot more annoying. But is basically you need to go to Sources, find the video and use a software like VLC to download it.

@Vin20 Sure, :p. So to watch any video online you need to download it to your computer, so technically every video can be downloaded. But it's important to know that you need to have access to the video.
The first method is the one I explained. Right Click anywhere near the video, Go to Inspect Element. Then by browsing with the mouse on the source code of the website you can find the link of the video (might be easier to understand with a video). When you find the link all you need is to open the link and download the video.
But a lot of websites have protection against that, so there is a second method. Basically you open the video, then Right Click - Inspect Element. On the tab that opens you click in Sources, then you find the video (it will have a video extension, like Mp4 or something). Then you right click and copy the link. After that you need to have VLC, go to Media - Convert/Save, then click in Network, there you paste the video URL, then you click Save, and then you wait. Yes it's a much more complicated method, but hopefully it's understandable.
Extensions basically do those processes for you, I never found an extension that does the second one, but if the ones suggested above work it'd easier to use them. Otherwise the second method should work.
Yeah, totally agree with you. I do like the bigger variety of porn we get nowadays because of amateur stuff, but I do miss the older movies.

But it's the times that changed it, in the past they were sold on VHS or DVD, so they were long, with multiple scenes and they had story going on, nowadays because of the amount of content, and the way porn is sold and distributed, everything is shorter and mostly just the sex.
Plus nowadays onlyfans and other sites just made it worse, there is so much bad amateur content, and they do take away from the big studios I think.

So yeah, if you are below the ratio you can only download Freeleech torrents. My suggestion is get as many freeleechs you can get and leave them seeding as much as you can to recover your ratio. You can also upload stuff and hopefully get some seed bonus that you can convert into Ratio.
Also when you leave stuff seeding for a while you gain seed bonus, which you can convert into ratio, that's how I restored my ratio when I started using the site, all you need to do is click on the seed bonus and it'll open a page explaining it and giving you the options.
So yeah be careful with your ratio, specially in the beginning, now there are so many OF files and they are usually huge those are very dangerous with consuming your ratio, hehe.
