Socialized medicine is absolute shit.
We literally have death panels. Currently we have doctors and a children's hospital fighting tooth and nail to kill a kid (Charlie Gard) who they admit is not suffering.
Waiting times, without private health insurance, is beyond disgusting.
They have extremely rigid protocols that can be deadly if even the tiniest thing doesn't go exactly right.
How is that any different from what we have in the US? CEO's decide not to pay for care all the time. Here is a case where Cigna decided that a 17 year old girls life wasn't worth saving.

Wait times has very little to do with socialized medicine. I have no idea why Republicans are always crying about it. It's a problem but not one that is caused by single payer. Where I live it takes 52 days on average to see a doctor and we have the highest number of doctors per capita in the country.
