Maybe in the UK. The CDC in the US recommends this for boys and girls.

RE: Not only is Obamacare a disaster.. so is Medicaid.
Medicaid planning is a separate issue that only comes into play if he needs to go to a nursing home.
If he qualifies for Medicaid he likely also qualifies for Medicaid Buy In which is the name for the program that pays for his Medicaid. There are exceptions like if he is on some sort of waiver program. You should call Medicaid and ask.

RE: Not only is Obamacare a disaster.. so is Medicaid.
Also they did tell him. They sent a letter in the mail. He likely received a lot of letters in the mail and didn't know what any of it meant. It's a confusing mess.
If Medicaid was paying and then stopped they likely told him too in another confusing letter.

RE: Not only is Obamacare a disaster.. so is Medicaid.
I think you are confused. This is what I do for a living.
I am doubtful your father got a $110 increase. That's a lot.
It's likey that his Part B premium was being paid for by Medicaid before he received the increase. Now he doesn't qualify for that. If you can tell me what state he is in and his income I can tell you for sure. Is he currently receiving Medicaid as well as Medicare?

RE: Get on with it… solution
Trump disagrees. He has the power to investigate and lock her up. He doesn't want to. He just said all that stuff so dummies would vote for him. It worked.

RE: A win for Trump.. one more hurdle cleared! Whoo hoo!
I assume that because you said your dad needs insurance that he now has a pre-existing condition that will prohibit him frm buying it under Trumpcare?

RE: The Whiner-in-Chief is at again
The same thing he wants to pardon himself for.

Will Sessions be Fired or will he "Resign"?
It's pretty obvious that Trump wants to get rid of Sessions. He is doing everything he can to publicly undermine him in order to prompt a resignation. It's very sad this this poor man who has devoted his life to public service hitched his star to the failing Trump train.
Will he be fired or will he "resign"?
-
RE: Today is the SADDEST day of Trumps presidency
So why is Trump talking about pardoning himself? You think he wants to pardon himself from something he didn't do?
-
RE: Anonymity solution
I don't think you understand how the free press works.
Governor LePage admitted a couple weeks ago that he leaks information to the press that isn't true just to mess with them. Do you really think Trump doesn't do this? He has been doing that for DECADES. He used to call Page Six and pretend to be other people!

RE: Does Russia want to "adopt" the United States?
Americans have been banned from adopting children from Russia since 2013..
Fair enough but Trump told the NYT last week that he talked with Putin about adoption. Why on earth are these two world leaders who have supposedly never met talking about this? It's kinda like the CEO of McDonalds taking care of the broken refrigerator at the McDonalds on Highway 86 in Omaha Nebraska. It's not an issue that a leader deals with, especially not in the very first meeting.

RE: What do people really need?
and up until 2 years ago, my father did not either.
Your father is exactly why the Republican plan will never work. You can't just buy insurance when you get sick. The system cannot survive that way.
-
RE: What do people really need?
Insurance is a must!
You never know what is planned for yourself!
Try to find an insurance plan that covers vision, hearing, or dental. GOOD LUCK!
The "free market" for various reasons decided a long time ago that those things should be separate. Just wait until Republicans are done bringing us more of the market based reforms. You will need to insure each limb individually.

RE: Get on with it… solution
I completely disagree. Trump should lock her up. That's what he promised to do! He LIED.

The Whiner-in-Chief is at again
Trump tweeted this today:
It's very sad that Republicans, even some that were carried over the line on my back, do very little to protect their President.
Why does Trump need protection? Didn't he promise us that he was going to fix America all by himself? Does he have any idea how a Democracy works? Did he really think he was going to be able to keep this up?
Mark my words. The GOP will be leading the impeachment.

RE: Here Are Some Things You Should Probably Know About Anthony Scaramucci
Why would they be in trouble without Spicer? There are plenty of other people in the Trump administration. Truthfully, I thought the real Spicer was funnier.

RE: What do people really need?
And you really think that Trump is charging everything to the government that he possibly can? His doctor is billing the government. Trump has been bilking the taxpayers for decades. He isn't going to change now. Remember, it makes him a smart businessman…..
The idea that ObamaCare is in a death spiral is absolutely ludicrous. Trump is going to stop funding it and then claim it imploded. It's the equivalent of not giving a dog food and and water and then claiming it died of "natural causes."
The fact is that the exchanges just had their best quarter ever (Q1 2017) and they are expected to be profitable in 2018.

RE: What do people really need?
Republicans seem to believe that you only deserve healthcare if you pass some sot of moral test. If that were the case our own President wouldn't qualify. Lucky for him, he has taxpayer funded healthcare and doesn't need to worry about it.

RE: What do people really need?
This ongoing covfefe about healthcare is essentially "cutting off people's noses in spite their face".
Here is one example of that:
I lived in New Orleans for a time.. in New Orleans there are a few bars / clubs that have totally nude dancers who are mainly there to pick up tricks, and allow people sitting at the bar to insert their fingers up their assholes. Most of those guys are straight, and would never be doing that except for the fact that they need to pay their rent or college tuition. These guys typically have minimum wage jobs, and are full of health and vitality. Do you think that it is fair to require these guys to pay into a healthcare system that keeps people who are dying alive a few more years? Why should employers be forced to pay into health care plans for their employees, rather than giving that money to their employees? In fact, employers now have severely cut back on the number of workers they employ, and the number of hours they work, so they don't get stuck with astronomical health care costs. Some young person needs a job.. but can only get part time work at minimum wage.. if they are lucky enough to get even that.. and then are required to pay for healthcare on top of that?I agree with you there. One of the reasons healthcare is so expensive is because the employer is involved. We need to cut them out of the equation. Let insurers sell directly to consumers and you will see the price come down. Unfortunately that will only work if everyone is required to purchase it.
And to answer your question…...hookers should have health insurance.
