@corbyn4life Thank you, and thank you for pointing out the potential problem. I always flag questionable photos or videos. While there is no "proof" at that point, I think we all generally know underage when we see it. Some instances are very blatant.

RE: Facebook uses 1st Amendment in lawsuit
@raphjd Ridiculous. "Do as I say, not as I do". The very premise they are using to boot people off their platform for "lying" is per their attorneys only an opinion. But their opinion is "Free Speech" while yours is an assault against humanity for merely disagreeing by pointing out real facts (which they simultaneously call an opinion and a lie while lying to defeat your position). This is the recent contorted logic adopted by those with opposing opinions in this forum as well. Where did logic go?

RE: illegal file
All good points. It goes to say that there is no absolute except that there are no absolutes.
That said, when I was Admin on another site, I found content that was unabashedly underage, and any moron could see that. In fact, the content producer was in jail at the time I blocked all content from that studio for child pornography.
And no, Italy does not allow underage (18) pornography. The fact is that the age of consent applies universally to all sexual interaction, therefore not only is the content illegal, but more importantly the consent of the individual. Now... for your can of worms to continue, were an individual to consensually film a sex act between a 14 and 15-year-old in Italy, and post it, there would be a violation of Terms and Conditions of virtually every hosting site, but not necessarily of the law, allowing the content to be removed.
The bottom line is that most of us do not need rules, regulations, law or terms and conditions to discern what is and is not appropriate. Unfortunately, for the other vast minority this is not the case, and we all have to abide by rules for the masses.

RE: Young Dems more likely to despise the other party
The extent of intolerance in the younger generation is clear, and clearly an alter-ego of the unstated but clearly visible elephant in the room of general social media influence.
In fact, we here, yes we... gay and otherwise flexibly sexual/diverse individuals who wear tolerance on our sleeves are highly intolerant not only of each other, but any who dare question our superior version of intellectual prowess and judgment rights. It is only we who may discern the propriety of universal treatment of others, with "case closed" mentalities which leave no room for improvement.
So easy to cookie cutter stamp an opinion that is "Leftist" or "Rightist" or "Centrist" or any other host of microcosmic groups than can allow an "outcast" individual to claim inclusion where it may not exist in reality. It is these very labels that cause division, not cure it.
A great example is the commutation of the "gay" movement. In the early days, the term included all who had same-sex attractions. Then as the predominant media and focus was men, we had to state "lesbian and gay". This led to a perceived exclusion of bisexuals, so we were "LGB". What about Trans, then? OK... LGBT. Then someone invented an exclusion for "Queer". Now we have to use more letters... LGBTQ. Oops. That leaves out a host of other people and their individual perceptions, so it's time to use the shift key and write LGBTQ+. The plus character can't always be "included" in programming. There's a discrimination lawsuit. How far we've gone in retro, without using the rear-view mirror.
You know what? How about we just take the Dutch example. The only thing we should not tolerate is intolerance.

RE: Facebook uses 1st Amendment in lawsuit
@bi4smooth Your postings are disrespectful to those of differing opinion and vast experience in life. I appreciate your logic, and use of English, however, this does not excuse a paternalistic arrogance that is highly unwarranted.
You will lose your intended effect if you rail along political lines that dismiss any differing views in the tone of your arguments.
Did you read Facebook's argument? Are you aware of the owners and motives of sites such as Snopes and other "fact checkers"?
Die-hard liberalism and conservatism are no better than severe Communism or Fascism. The Bolsheviks strongly supported their motives, but Ukranian genocide from starvation and executions was the result. Armenians suffered the same fate, as did the Jewish population of Germany, along with homosexuals. Regardless of whom you support and do no support, I believe a reasonability and respect would go a long way in seeking accord.
While we debate which fire hose to use, our societies are burning down, large financial institutions are manipulating a vast global control system, and we become the frogs in slowly heating water. It's not about liberal/conservative... it's about what's happening underneath the feet of all of us.

RE: Pennsylvania Supreme Court Rules Mask Mandate For School Children Is Illegal
@geobear40 Absolutely correct. And the CDC numbers are vastly skewed by financial compensation for death certificate attribution to Covid as well as false positives taken after death via the antigen test (patented in 2015 by none other than Richard Rothschild... a banker patenting a health test. Hmmmmm, not TOO obvious). Consider also that the CDC has a registered patent on the virus itself in 2015. Hmmmmm again. The CDC is a prostitute for bankers, financial foundations that are a virtual monopoly in the world (see Black Rock and Vanguard for two), and the famous Dr. Fauci who experimented on my grandfather is among the world's most soul-absent "humans".

RE: Pennsylvania Supreme Court Rules Mask Mandate For School Children Is Illegal
@raphjd Beautiful. Masks diminish oxygen intake by 20%. This is significant. Oxygen is critical not only for brain activity, but furnishes the fuel for the lymphatic system to produce leucocytes (white blood cells) that fight all infection, including virus, retrovirus, and yes, Covid. It is criminal to require masks that according to the vast majority of medical professionals serve nothing to limit, prevent or curtail acquisition of a retrovirus or other virus. Surgical masks are worn by surgeons to prevent not viral but bacterial infection in patients with opened tissues which are highly susceptible to bacterial sepsis. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers add insult to injury, as they absorb directly into the bloodstream, and this is not your grandfather's moonshine stash alcohol, but a form toxic to the human organism. In the short run, alcohol based sanitizers dehydrate the blood, increasing blood pressure to force blood and circulate the already diminished white blood cells. Our immune systems are stimulated by physical proximity to other human beings, and diminish in isolation, making us more susceptible to disease and Covid also. Don't believe the propaganda in circulation. There is an enormous economic motive in closure of small businesses, and that is massive giant finanacial interest control with the goal of a global economic system. Forget currency, it's over with. A system of work-based credits measured by body movements is patented by Bill Gates and signed off by 96 major economic force countries. We are on the brink of a global technocracy with utter control of every move we make. Don't believe it? Fine... put your head back in the sand and go to sleep again. You'll soon awaken to a nightmare you were not prepared for. Do what you want in life today. Tomorrow is already too late.

RE: USA! USA! #1 USA!
@turkishboyb I agree, however, you must remember that unlike Turkey, all of us in the USA are imports from other countries except the few Native Americans. There have been Asians in the US now for many generations, so who knows how long this team has been truly American.

RE: Racism of Low Expectations
@boltvolts Maybe I was not explicit enough. Until the late 60's, Grants Pass Oregon had an arched sign over the city limit that said "Welcome to Grants Pass... N***er, Get Your Ass Out of Town by Sundown!" Obviously the second part was in smaller lettering. Truly scary logger enclaves where you really had to be sure you were known going in not to be shot. The only thing I've experienced that was similar is the archetypal Cajun deep in the swamps of Louisiana. I worked all over the US, including 30 weeks in Florida (Jacksonville, Pensacola, Orlando, Miami), plus working catastrophe losses after your four consecutive hurricanes following Hugo.

RE: NYC Dem councilwoman is racist against latinos
@bi4smooth For every assertion that another is conspiracist, there is the counter-balancing argument that you are the product of an effective propaganda machine. In the not too distant future, many many bubbles will burst. Just don't get married to your standpoint, as the coming divorce will hurt much more. I spent 30 years in legal investigations and in the process uncovered some mind-blowing facts (not theories). As a result, I no longer believe in unicorns who propel themselves across the skies of Neverland by farting glittery rainbows.
That said, I appreciate your wit and obvious level of intelligence. Maybe a bit less the sources you trust.

RE: Racism of Low Expectations
I lived in Oregon for 20 years before coming to Italy. The mentality of Oregonians is interesting. Hyper-right-wing groups exist in most of the geography of the state, but population centers in Eugene, Salem, and Portland along with some low-population coastal centers swing politics hard left.
Eugene was the destination of Haight-Ashbury hippie culture, ported there by the Green Tortoise bus line from Lowell, just outside Eugene. I had a home in Lowell overlooking the lake and the old Green Tortoise bus depot.
San Francisco pressured hippies out, and there was a steady stream of buses going from SF to Eugene. The Grateful Dead and abundant marijuana culture, tie-dye, and the rest came along for the ride. Funny... those hippies are now the white-collar group, and advancing "norms" that take one back to the 60's in the need to fight the "establishment".
Along comes our lesbian friend and governor, but since her governership took hold in Oregon, both sides of the fence are universally lamenting the extent of absence of presence in decision making from Salem ever since. Nothing much there makes sense.

RE: NYC Dem councilwoman is racist against latinos
@bi4smooth Again, your utter disrespect with a hair trigger is worse than absurd, but self revealing, and knows no bounds. The Latin legal concept of "is repsa loquitor" has never been more appropriate.
The term conspiracy theory is excessively utilized, becoming not only cliché but annoying. One can easily dismiss any sort of opposing viewpoint as conspiracy theory, straight out of propagandist's playbooks.
Had the labor revolution where worker rights became protected by unions needed at the time were attempted today, mistreatment of workers would be conspiracy theory.

RE: NYC Dem councilwoman is racist against latinos
@geobear40 This has happened in other states, where postal workers admitted to collecting unclaimed ballots from mailboxes where obviously no one was collecting their mail (moved, vacant or otherwise).
These loose guns can swing any election. At the base of all election and voting are myriads of opportunity for fraud and manipulation.
The vote has become high theater. A distraction for we the masses while they negotiate back-room deals between the world's privileged and powerful... Bilderberger, G Summits, the Bohemian Grove. All seems to be a joke to them how they can celebrate the "abandonment of care" in strange rituals while deciding the fate of the world until the next gathering. Elections? Wow. If only they really worked the world could be a better place.

RE: Straight porn vs gay porn, your thoughts
I've done the same. My solution is to go to some vintage studios. While the cheese factor comes in, the music and production values can be worse than sad, the guys may be what you've looked for.
Maybe a thread with hot straight porn actors would be useful. Girls are no thrill for me at all, but I can ignore them if the guy is hot.
Yes, women are downgraded and typically placed in frilly slut costumes, generally treated as shallow objects of servitude, and disrespected totally. This is unfortunately a reflection of society's placement of women at a disadvantage. You'd find it worse abroad.
