Where is the Conservative Outrage?
-
@manhandler And will they exceed 1%? They already exceeded 17.5%, but double digits or not, 1% fraud should be looked at and dealt with. 17.5% is the number of ballots more found in a box labelled with 17% less. So a pallet of ballots said there was 500 ballots in it but there was 650. Do you get it? 17.5% off. Double digit fraud, not just 1%. Get used to it. We are not going to let this go.

Flynn himself repudiates what's been ascribed to him: https://news.yahoo.com/michael-flynn-denies-suggesting-myanmar-220150348.html
Flynn says he didn't mean it - and I trust him in that (though if you watch the video, there isn't much to walk back... which is to say, he doesn't give himself much "wiggle room"... he's pretty blatantly calling for a military coup!)...
My outrage isn't so much with him (tho it is to a lesser extent), it is with the crowd's reaction - in full, enthusiastic support of a military coup because they lost an election!
I'm using this term in another topic, but it's apropos here as well - this is Nationalist Fascism! \
Self-delusional, and dangerous!
Have you ever actually attended a political rally? I have. I'm a member of my county's GOP executive committee in Michigan. When the crowd gets riled up, you could literally yell "hot dogs made from aborted babies cause hemorrhoids" and the people would be like, "right on, right on." Left or Right. I don't get worked up about what happens in political theater. Half the time, no one knows what they're cheering about, anyway.
"Nationalist fascism" is redundant. Fascism is, by definition, nationalist. But if you think the GOP is fascist, you're on crack. Apart from a handful of legit neo-Nazi groups on the far fringes, there's no fascism in the U.S. Abusing the term for political shits and giggles is morally reprehensible and intellectually dishonest.

And because of this rank idiocy, the GOP is going to take a beating in 2022. I blame you fucking conspiracy whackjobs for the loss of two Georgia Senate seats and all the ridiculousness that this country will have to endure because of it.
THERE WAS NO MEANINGFUL ELECTION FRAUD IN THE 2020 ELECTION. Lies to the contrary hurt the conservative cause and empower progressive governance.

Nazi Fascism was also Nationalist... true, and while the Nazi's were also a cult of personality focused on the infallibility of Hitler, I don't put Trump in the same boat as Hitler (Honestly, Hitler was smarter - politically - and more ruthless).
I do not believe the Republican Party is Fascist - at least not MY Republican Party! (Yes, I'm a registered Republican)... but that doesn't mean Trump himself - and his followers - aren't Fascists...
But there is a difference between Nationalist Fascism and simple Fascism... and Trump meets the definition of the former... to a T!
Also, I've been to many a political rally, and yes I've been at rallys where a speaker said something stupid and the crowd initially started to cheer - but then pulled back. There was no pull-back at Flynn's speach... indeed, when some participants were interviewed afterwards and asked if they supported the idea of a Military Coup against the US Government, the most common reply was akin to "Yes, if it'll get President Trump back into power!" - that's scary... and not in a halloween or roller-coaster kind of scary... that's "there's a bomb on the plane" scary!
-
@jsl76 Well I disagree with you, and you have made up your mind before the audit even reveals it's results.
-
@bi4smooth "Yes if it'll get Trump back into office." Is your delusional... propaganda... to put a false assumption in the minds of the people. You are engaging in disinformation. You are putting words in people's mouths, which is ok to a degree if the way you're interpreting it is correct. But the way you interpret it is not. You're just wrong.

Yup - the German media (who is following this mess) altered the video of the people being interviewed!
Of course, they're colluding with the Democrats and other elected Republicans to make Trump look bad... yeah... that's the ticket!
This is why the playbooks from the 1930's won't work in the long run today... it's not just about what people say happened... it's on video!

@bi4smooth Can you demonstrate what you just stated in more detail so that we can fact check it ourselves?

Start reading non-US news accounts... Try some of these:
- http://www.dw.com (German)
- http://www/bbc.com (British)
- http://www.abc.net.au (Australia)
I also read translated news from the Middle East and Japan...

@bi4smooth No you need to put it in your own words.

You're too lazy to actually read what I write anyway... you've proven that over multiple threads!
-
@bi4smooth And you've proven over multiple messages that you aren't discussing the topic, that there was a double digit fraudulent count of ballots. When a pallet of ballots says there are 500 ballots inside this box, and there's only 350, or there's 650, something is off, and your side sent hundreds of lawyers to shut down finding out what exactly was "off." Why it was 650 instead of 500. "We need to shut that down." No. We are not going to stop until we find out WHY. So get over it.

Look - the AZ Republican Party runs the Secretary of State's office there... they did their own audit (with Republican and Democrat witnesses).
BUT, as I've stated before... let's say you find 5million missing ballots in AZ, all of which are marked for Trump... there is nothing in our Constitution that allows for the Electoral College to re-vote. The Electoral College of 2020 met, voted (in mostly videotaped fashion), and the new President was inaugurated! It is a fait accompli!
The ONLY thing you can do to get Biden out of the White House now is:
- His death - in which case, the 25th Amendment kicks in
- His impeachment & conviction - in which case, the 25th Amendment kicks in
Under no feasible way - other than the 2024 election - will Donald Trump be returned to the White House as President!
This is a waste of time and a fantasy! All to support a cult of personality that is Donald Trump - still working to become the undisputed worst President in US History!

@bi4smooth All of our laws are based on the fact that fraud is null and void, nunc pro tunc. That is the basis for civilization, and you are trying to make excuses for when it comes out, that it's just too bad. That's so pathetic and disturbing.

There is precedence for re-running an election due to fraud. There is none for overturning one. And in the case of re-running the elections, the candidate who committed the fraud was convicted - in court - of perpetrating that fraud. As I've said (and as Donald Trump demonstrated in his pathetic 1-term in office) - the American Presidency is immune from prosecution while in office.
Next election - maybe even the one after that... that's when you'll have your chance in court!

@bi4smooth Dude, the first sentence again was delusional and I couldn't read past it. You just don't get how the world works. Just because there isn't precedent doesn't mean that it can't be done. Do you think all the other times there wasn't precedent -until there was- people argued that? It's basic common sense, fraud cannot stand. There is that precedent anyway.

Your understanding of US law is ...
well, let's just say I'm underwhelmed.
I suggest you go back to the Military Coup idea... it is more plausible! LOL

I don't care what liberals think of me, especially those with extreme TDS.
By "real Republicans" you mean liberals, aka Biden/Harris voters.
Here's your reward;

ALL news organizations have an editorial bias to one degree or another (in LEGIT ones, it mostly shows in the choice of stories they run, not so much in the facts of the stories themselves). The point of listing those sites was to say: don't get ALL of your news from US sources - in the US, I read articles on CNN.com as well as FoxNews.com... and multiple other US sources... (yes, I read a lot - I get PAID (in my job) to read a lot! LOL)
Those sites are INTERNATIONAL sites I get news from... that's all...
