RE: Tracker bad gateway error
@frostycab Thanks for the info. I was beginning to hyperventilate a little bit from porn withdrawal. To compensate, I will just keep checking out the site's backend!

Repeated (daily!) re-upload requests
One user sends daily reseed requests for a dead torrent that I once downloaded. I'm happy to help out w/ reseeds when I can, but all the downloaders of this torrent don't need new requests every day, resulting in dozens of identical messages after we haven't logged in for a while.
Is this a violation of rules and, if so, what can be done?

"Representative" pictures in multiple-file torrents
I have a question / am asking for clarification about this passage from #11 of the "Uploading Rules" instructing uploaders that pictures (among other things):
"must correctly represent the content of the files shared"
First, I greatly appreciate uploaders who go to the trouble of providing plenty of photos showing what's in their uploads - thank you!
But for the above rule to have any practical meaning in uploads with many files, potential downloaders have to know what photos correspond to what files. This has been a long-term issue, but it most recently came to my mind with this torrent, "USA Mixed Videos."
My question: does this torrent follow the rule cited above, as the rule was intended?
[Aside: Again, I don't want to "pile on" against this uploader or any other, as I do appreciate their work. The files have useful, descriptive titles so prospective downloaders can search online if they so desire.]

RE: Sketchy Sex / Fraternity X Scenes
Try pornhub/gayporn and other streaming sites. They tolerate some complete scenes being uploaded and even upload some complete scenes themselves on their streaming site channels.

RE: I have read 5 articles on seeding and I still can't figure out how to do it!
Welcome, Shea66.
A more specific question would be useful. As explained above, downloading is called "leeching," and when you finish downloading you are "seeding" until you pause the torrent or quit the torrent client. When you seed, you make available to other downloaders (if any), and you ratio improves as others download from you. Even if no-one is downloading, you get .5 bonus point per hour if you seed at least one torrent, and bonus points can be exchanged for a ratio boost.

RE: New Design
About the Browse interface: it's a common problem that the description is cut off because the entire description will not fit below the image, so there are problems like this:
(Of course, this makes the description completely invisible when there are long, vertical images.)
I'd like the descriptions, like the images, to always appear where my cursor is. I don't care if the photo is covered while I'm hovering over the "i." (I have checked the settings, but I don't think there's currently any way to do this.)
About the Search page: yes, it is busy, but I think I can get used to it. I like that there are more photos and that I can read the description right from the Search page.

RE: Fundamental problems with GAYtorrent.ru
LMAO. An internet pirate taking the high road? Make it make sense.
If you think P2P file sharing is wrong, maybe you should salve your conscience and leave here? (Something for you to honestly think about).

RE: Fundamental problems with GAYtorrent.ru
I second what others have said: stay away from large (especially old) torrents at the beginning, and focus on freeleech videos - I have gotten a lot of upload traffic from just downloading only a few files from a large freeleech collection early in the freeleech and leaving them seeding. And look around for new content to upload (make sure it's not already here, but different formats are allowed). If you are able, right now you can get a lot of upload credit (5x the usual) for a fairly small donation.

Seedbox and site rules (how to avoid getting banned)
I'm new to using a seedbox and may be using one on this site. The site rules say "Only one account is allowed per Internet Protocol address and user." Question 1: does that mean I can't seed from both my local machine and a seedbox at the same time (since having two IP addresses would get me banned for having duplicate accounts)? Question 2: I would assume I could still browse the site while seeding from a seedbox, even though I would technically have two IP addresses. Thanks for indulging my naive newb seedbox questions.
