Transmission, for sure.
I had problems with it recently (presumably after a MacOS update) as it was leaking memory and eventually causing my computer to crash if left unattended for too long. However, I discovered this only occurs when the window sort is set to "by activity". Changed to "by date added" and its been blissful ever since!

I was out of town as well, but I love the surprise and delight nature of the freeleches… you never know when they'll happen!

I used to buy Swiss Navy Silicone, but now I get Fuck Water Silicone, as it is equally good but costs considerably less here.

I'm all for diversity. I don't automatically filter out the Bi stuff (as I could), but I don't expect to see anything there that will be my cup of tea, either. On the other hand, I (and apparently many others who are applauding the recent changes) filter out the scat since I know that's something I don't want.
I've been on newsgroups where from time to time a discussion breaks out around too many twink videos being posted.
To each his own.
But in general, I find that (as in most categories) some of them are pretty hot and the rest I just move on.
There will be something new posted in a few minutes.

I use Unison for newsgroups (giganews.com), and even though it hasn't been updated in over 3 years it generally works pretty well for downloading stuff.

Today, however, I was trying to upload a thumbnail that someone requested for a video that didn't have one, and when I hit the upload button it just crashes immediately.

So… anyone else using Newgroups on a Mac that has a suggestion for a good client to use? Unison is clearly reaching the end of its lifespan.

My two cents, running Transmission on a Mac. I use an older (2011) Mac Mini, since it has a persistent connection unlike my MacBook.

I have a 20 Mb/s upload from my provider, so I must set the upload limit to about 1024 KB or less so it doesn't get flooded. If it does, the governor basically gets lost and the app becomes unresponsive, requiring a force quit. Basically, this happens several times a week, even with the limit carefully set. Hopefully this problem will go away when I upgrade to Gigabit with 50Mb/s upload  ;D.

I also get lots of torrents that show up tagged as tracker error, but often they still keep seeding anyway.

Also, I occasionally find older torrents with a small number of seeders and make them freeleech with my bonus points. That usually generates a lot of traffic and I can get to 4x or 8x ratio or more on those torrents.

There's a scene from Lucas Entertainment from a few years back with Edji da Silva and a banana that I recall was pretty hot!

Mac. I use a Lenovo ThinkPad at work (with the touchscreen that does bizarre things when you actually touch it). I use both platforms everyday (and a unix server in the background to do the heavy lifting), and I appreciate the unix underpinnings of the Mac that make it not just easier to use, but far more efficient. Basic things like searching for a file are so much better, due to the underlying power of unix. It's also more transparent, as I can see every process running, and know exactly which program (or website) is the one that is sucking power and caused the fan to turn on. It has great longevity (my 3 and a half year old MacBook Pro runs circles around the brand new ThinkPad) and it will still have great resale value when I spring for a new one.

I agree, certainly the best torrent client for Macs. Even on an old Mac Mini it runs great, and has a really good interface
