I decided to get one as a birthday present to myself two years ago.  I kinda did it just to do it, but I made sure it would be something I'd want to see permanently and has a good story.

My father passed away when I was 18 (I'm 26 now) and he was very active in his local Ford Mustang Club and had a 66 red mustang he had purchased a few years previously.  My mother has since sold the car (a shame), but I got the whole car tattooed on my arm.  Its a great conversation starter and when people hear about my dad's interest in Mustangs and that I decided to memorialize him in this way, people are touched.  I feel a reminder of him every time I look at my arm, especially since I now live in a different country than where he is buried…

Being called racist and being racist are two different things. And the question here isn't one of racism (that one race is better/superior to another), it's of preference.   
 
Grinder, Gaydar, etc. are for hook-ups and generally, you know what you want for a hook up.

If you know you're craving a huge cock and you turn down the guy who says he's small, that's par for the course. If you want good sex with someone experienced and exclude everyone who's either young or just out, that's also to be expected. If your fantasy is, I dunno, a smooth Asian man then a white burley man isn't going to meet it. If there aren't any Asian men available and they wanna try the white twink who's willing, more power to them but in not choosing them they are exercising preference and maybe prejudice, not racism.
