@MrMazda Just curious, is your server like a seedbox for torrents?
I've looked into seedboxes before, not quite sure how to go about it. Is it hosted at your house? What kind of speeds do you pay for with your internet service provider?

I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas this season, especially to the GTRU Administrators and Mods who keep this site running smoothly. I appreciate the great work you do in keeping this torrent site running so smoothly and quickly.
I also want to send some joy to the seeders, who take the time and care to upload fantastic content for everyone to enjoy.
Merry Christmas!
Something of a mind bend, I just came across a torrent of a torrent ...
I feel like the uploader deserves an infinite amount of seedpoints for putting us into a forever loop where we never actually download the files, we just donwload the torrent that point to the torrent LOL
Here is one of the examples:

@dretafari Technically, a site only needs 1 site administrator to keep the site going. One person is sufficient to pay the bills and provide ongoing server maintenance.
The moderation of torrents and the forums probably requires multiple volunteers (and all of their work is much appreciated!). However, I don't think those volunteer moderators would have root access to the server to provide business continuity.
In any case, I also hope that this site stays online for many years to come . I am relatively new to GTRU (but not to gay torrenting!), and I can't believe it took this many years to find this awesome place.
@lmsuon Do you have any recommendations of straight studios or torrents with that focus?
Hi guys,
I don't normally post or visit the forums, so a hello to everyone. I can only speak to my own experiences co-operating a gay public forum, which gets hit with DMCA Notifications every day.
Websites are required to comply with valid DMCA Notifications. Website owners that don't comply will not be protected by safe harbor laws, opening them up to much more severe liability.
Part of the popularity of GTRU is that much of its torrents are publicly available, which is a double-edged sword. If something is public on Google, that means the torrents can be found by porn fiends AND automated bots.
GTRU is one of the biggest gay porn torrent (maybe the largest?). If OnlyFans or performers or their paid DMCA representatives were to repeatedly infringing sites, this would be it.
I'm not personally privy to the software behind the automated monitoring methods, but they likely utilize a combination of simple text and image scanning. Some basic obfuscation methods will usually beat the monitoring:
Some other thoughts:
I've never posted before, but I noticed the site was down earlier today and wanted to send some happy vibes to the GTRU staff for getting us back online. Thanks guys!
@raphjd Is this Discourse? You did a good job theming in black
I run a gay forum as well
Pretty sure these are all Corbin Fisher videos, and those images will be hit with DMCA takedowns
Saw the news on the frontpage, good job to the GTRU team for fighting off the DDOS attack!!
Thank you to the MrMazda for updating the community and to the OP for posting - I thought it was a problem on my end and couldn't figure out my configuration. I'm new to seeding and torrenting so all of this is kind of overwhelming. I like to 'set it and forget it' LOL
