RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 Is Trump innocent? Has he committed no crimes? Is he completely being railroaded by a corrupt system?
Or, is it so obvious he committed crimes that the only recourse of people who support him is to make everyone else dirty. Defend Trump. You don't have to attack Biden if Trump is innocent. The only reason to bash Biden is because what Trump has done is obvious and indefensible.
Regarding the other stuff. Have politicians on the left associated with racists and bigots, made bad policies, said inappropriate things in public, betrayed their oaths, acting as criminals? Well, hell yes they have. And, they were, are, and will be punished for it. That's exactly what I expect to happen, regardless of if they have a D or an R next to their name.
While we're on the subject of racist guests, when did Biden have dinner with Nick Fuentes? Or, Ye? When did Biden say that he's on good terms with the enemies of the US like Putin and Xi? When did Biden say he would be dictator for a day? When did Biden say that the Constitution should be terminated because he lost an election and was treated unfairly.

RE: St. Donald
@raphjd Unfounded information is information from sources which aren't accredited. Please share accredited information to indicate that Russia didn't receive information from Paul Manafort while he was associated with the Trump Campaign prior to the 2016 election. If you do that, then that will be proof that there was no collusion with Russia.
Because, I've read portions of the Mueller report. It is documented in the report, which is bound by oath of a Special Prosecutor, that Paul Manafort supplied campaign data to Russian agents. Since Mueller would be liable for perjury if he lied, I trust his report more than an announcement by Bill Barr where he didn't have the threat of perjury to prevent him from lying.

RE: St. Donald
@raphjd Why did you post this? This thread started because Donald Trump is selling Bibles, now. At what point did this become about anything beyond that.
Also, google every claim you have made. Confirm that what you're saying is the truth. Otherwise, you are sharing propaganda. I realize you are an administrator and I don't want to piss you off, so I'm not going to engage deeply with you. Just want to call out that sharing unfounded information just because you like the narrative isn't the same as having an honest, adult conversation regarding politics.

RE: St. Donald
@lololulu19 Right.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/30/politics/black-lives-matter-trump-endorsement/index.html
I'm going to just put it this way. Even evil, despicable men can do the right thing sometimes. I'm not saying that applies to LBJ, I'm saying the the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a step in the right direction. It was voted into law by both the House and the Senate at the time because there was overwhelming support for fair treatment of all. Regardless of how LBJ felt about it, the country was ready. He would have faced a revolt had he not acquiesced to the will of the country. The fact that he signed a law which he didn't support, if what you say is true, doesn't change the fact that he signed it. It doesn't change the fact that it was the right thing to do. It also doesn't prove your point that black people vote for the Democrats because of perks. But let me ask you something. When was the last time Republicans initiated a bill that benefited people other than the wealthy? Most of the country is not wealthy. But, a staggering amount of Republican legislation benefits them and only them. Why is that? Are you wealthy? Do those laws benefit you? If so, it explains a lot. If not, why would you support a party that doesn't care about what happens to you? The wealthy don't care about you. They want to remove "entitlements" that we have all paid into our entire lives. They want to take our money from us. Keep us at low wages and make us disposable. Millions of people with little to no value at their beck and call to do with as they will. This is the world the wealthy want. This is why they lobby Republicans to pass laws to make that happen. Why would anyone support that?

RE: St. Donald
@lololulu19 Right. What do you have against the Civil Rights bill?
What you said was hateful. Not that it matters. The Civil Rights bill was designed to right a wrong. To tell a group of people they aren't better than others. That everyone deserves to be treated equally and with respect. Only someone who thinks others deserve to suffer and be treated as second class citizens would view a bill promising equality as a gimmick to get minorities to vote a certain way.
Let's try a thought experiment. What could Republicans do to encourage more people, not just blacks, but the general population to vote for them?

RE: St. Donald
@lololulu19 You know, typing something in a forum doesn't make it fact.
Show me some proof.

RE: Disappearing Torrents
@rayban099 The HelpDesk has explained the situation to me. It appears that torrents which are collections were from varied studios and, therefore, violated site rules.
What actually happened is some sites are becoming monopolies and have cobbled together multiple studios together under a single web address. My torrent descriptions listed the sub-studios, which is against the rules. My torrents are working now that I'm properly labeling them.

RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 Alas, you provide more proof. All you had to do was share convincing information. Now, I'm a clown. Good job. You should feel very proud of yourself. You are highly effective at directing the conversation in a direction that helps your audience come to a decision.
I'm not talking about me. I'm talking about people who are going to read what you post and see what a MAGA Republican thinks of people who don't share the same views.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 No, you don't. If I would never have voted for the Democratic party before today, I would now because of this conversation. You are very persuasive. I'm sure there are other people on the fence who will vote for the Democratic party because of statements and sentiments you share with the rest of MAGA Republicans. It's good to let people know where you stand. It pays off in the future.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 No, you don't see me. You have made assumptions, but you don't see me.
They are lies because they are demonstrably untrue. For example. This link takes you to information regarding why Southern Democrats became Republicans.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Democrats#:~:text=Despite being a,predecessors.[12]
The examples you provided weren't policies. The Republican party hasn't presented a party platform of policies since 2016. It's impossible for you to provide any Republican party policies because they don't exist.
And, of course I'm going to vote Democrat. Democrats don't call me a racist pedophile. Not that that has anything to do with my voting decisions. But, it's the only relevant topic that you and I have discussed.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 So, I ask for policies that have been helpful. You don't actually provide any examples, but rely on rhetoric. Then, you claim I'm inline with racist, pedhophiles who hate the constitution who is also a ragequitter that's "delicate".
You still haven't provided any policy examples. I've looked over the years and I don't see any presented by the party. It doesn't matter to me that you call me names or think I'm a bad person. The fact that instead of having an adult conversation you resort to name-calling says everything about you and whom you choose to support that needs to be said. If you had anything useful to say, you'd say it. Instead, you get defensive and childish. It's why MAGA lost in 2020 and has underperformed in every election since. It's why Democrats are out fundraising Republicans. The message provided by MAGA Republicans is repulsive. If the party wants to win in the future, they have to be more appealing to people like me.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 Ah. So, you believe the lies then. Not only that, you think all people who aren't MAGA think the same way. Everything is black and white.
You should probably investigate that. How your world view is limited to simplistic explanations for complex concepts. It's why some people are so casual about grouping people into categories without recognizing that we are all individuals and differ from each other. It's much easier to assume anyone who looks or acts a certain way in a situation fits into a category than to take the time to get to know them. You're missing out. Not with me, obviously. We'll never be friends. But, there are doubtless a lot of people whom you have turned against you by categorizing them and mistreating them before you got to know them. It's not a path to success in life.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 Wow. You really aren't a very kind person. I've been polite to you and you call me a troll. Nice. Well, it's been real. Thanks for showing your true colors.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 Look, I appreciate Republican ideals of conservatism. You're not promoting conservatism. You're promoting hatred of Democrats because EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM are racist and thugs who aren't to be trusted. Please correct me if you don't actually feel that way.
In my opinion, a party that promotes hating people you don't know isn't a reason to vote for any of them.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 How does Biden betray the constitution? When has he ever said that the constitution should be terminated?
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 <sigh> You know what. It's fine. You guys believe what you will. I see you have no intention of providing me with anything helpful. I'll just go ahead and vote Dem. I'll be damned if I'll side with the group who only offers division and hatred as platforms for choosing the next president.
-
RE: St. Donald
@blablarg18 No, I know these things. I also know how the Dems of the past became the Republicans of today.
Listen, I didn't ask a question to start a fight. I asked a question to understand why I should vote for any MAGA Republicans. I've searched and can't find any reason to do so. Instead of providing information that would assist me, you provide information that shows hatred for people who have a different view than you. That's the opposite of what I was looking for. If you have nothing helpful to share, I just won't continue this conversation.
Regarding the items that you listed, I have a few questions.
How is Trump responsible for no new wars? Does he have authority over the decisions of other world leaders as to whether they engage in conflicts?
How many manufacturing jobs were created during the Trump administration?
Trump raised tariffs on China which China passed through to consumers by raising prices.
I'm not sure what calling out China and drug cartels mean, so I'll just let you have those.
Every president defends the Constitution. It's in the job description.
