It depends on which area you are in. ComCast is rolling out this anti P2P software to it's various markets, so not everyone has it yet.

You need to get out more, the EC hasn't existed for years and years.

The 1.70.xxx to 1.71.xxx version didn't properly do a hash check while downloading. This caused people's ratios to falsely go up, because it only correctly hash checked the uploads. In other words, free or nearly free downloads.

There are rumors that 1.72.xxx sends data to the MPAA, but to date no one has proved anything.

Encryption doesn't help with this issue, but it helps in most cases.

Most likely you are using up too much RAM {memory} with other programs.

The issue of theme movies is a mixed bag.

I must say this now, without a doubt, the greatest theme movie ever is Beautiful Thing.

I hate how so many of the theme movies end in horrible ways, ie Brokeback Mountain or Latter Days. Why do so many end with one of the main characters being murdered or committing suicide?!

Third Man Out {part of the gay detective series} is good because the main characters are gay, but they are more than just a couple of fags on love romp. They are shown to be helping society as a whole, not just a few fags looking for their next bit of cock.

Personally, I prefer if the videos are over 1 GB. Many of the smaller videos suffer from motion distortion.

Of course motion distortion isn't always due to file size. Many times it's because the person that encoded the video played with their computer while the encoding was going on.
