Oh and if perhaps we do become friends just remember, Alcohol is the gift for the man who has everything. No really Whisky, Rum, Vodka, Wine it's all fine. Seriously though hope you have a great experience here. 🍌

    • RE: Academic Degrees

I have an MBA from the university of Phoenix but I rarely mention it. I find I get more respect from having a Bachlor's degree in Economics. I'd reccomend at the very least getting a bachlor's degree and not to bother with Economics as they really only care if you have a PHD otherwise it's virtually worthless. Communications is a good field of study that incorporates quite a bit of career paths so you'd do well to get a degree in that.

    • RE: Mike Pence

If it makes you feel any better insurance actuarial tables indicate that mortality for someone at Donald Trump's income level would most likely occur around age 96, so barring some Muslim extremists gunning him down for his attempt at a Muslim registry Mike Pence should never become president. Oddly enough this whole election is vaguely reminiscent of Kennedy though the nation welcoming in a young energetic president of a new generation only to have him taken out and replaced by a member of the same old outdated generation. Then again I'd take good ole LBJ over Trump any day he was far from a saint but at least his "ni***r bill" helped the civil rights movement.

For me it's Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. I know it's greedy to choose two, but I have this fantasy where they say to me "You want to try our double barreled Winchester Special?"  :jaj:

    • RE: My parents want me to marry a girl

As it turns out my best friend is an Indian woman with a similar problem, her family wants her to get married and keeps throwing guys at her all the time. In response she fled the country for 7 years to pursue her education in America (where we met). Just tell your family that you need to better educate yourself. Although with the recent election results America might not be your best option, but England has some excellent schools and Germany has free colleges you could attend to better educate yourself. Once you have a degree you never have to return home, unless of course you're a member of a royal family, in which case they will find a way to lure you back. Still you should be able to support yourself and that's all you need.

    • RE: Have you ever ended a relationship because your partner cheated on you?

Never actually had this happen to me, but I conducted a study a few years back for a book I was writing and determined the cheating is most often a symptom of a relationship where there is a lack of appreciation being expressed by one or both of the partners within the relationship. Now you also have to take into account the fact that the lack of appreciation experienced within a relationship is really a matter of personal perception of the participating partners within the relationship. So you have to consider the various different personality types when you draw this conclusion as a person who rates very high for in the "ego" category (i.e. an egotistical person) will never feel they are being fully appreciated within a relationship. As a result in some cases this is a problem that can be resolved simply by expressing the appreciation that you have for all the things your partner brings into your life. In other's however you could bow down before them every time they enter the room and it still wouldn't be enough for them. I'd say take a good look at your relationship and your partner before considering any option, cause in the long run trying to save the wrong relationship could be far more detrimental than ending the relationship and starting fresh with someone new.

    • RE: I’m 35, Gay and Terrified I’ll Be Single Forever

brianboru72 got it right. I mean to say that people are attracted to positive people. Someone who is always constantly complaining about what they don't have is no fun to be around. It is not conformist to simply enjoy the life you have especially when you have so much to enjoy. I'm not saying that you can't strive for more in life I'm just saying that if you're the kind of person who always thinks the grass is greener on the other side then nothing will ever be good enough for you and you spend your entire life trying to find the unattainable. Hey I'd love to have Channing Tatum in my bed right now, but it's not getting me down that's he's not. If you let what you don't have keep you down then you'll never get up. Cause no matter what there will always be something you don't have.

    • RE: I’m 35, Gay and Terrified I’ll Be Single Forever

I have a fried just like you. She calls me up all the time complaining that she'll forever be alone and never find a man to love her. So I'm going to give you the same advice I give to her. "Bitch shut your dumbass mouth and open your fucking eyes".

I know it's harsh, but the simple fact is you have a lot of love in your life right now and if you just bitch about what you don't have what you do have will slip away. I'm 32 and single, but hey love could come into my life tomorrow in 5 years or whenever all because I'm open to it. You have family and friends that love you and if you think all that is meaningless just because you don't have a life partner then your entire life will forever be meaningless. No I don't mean you'll never have a boyfriend that still may happen, but no matter how great your relationship you will always look for something better. You could have BF by this time next week but you'll be jealous that he's not as rich as your friends BF or you'll wish they were better looking, or you'll think that he doesn't love you enough because he didn't take you to Hawaii for your birthday. The simple fact is if you want to be happy in your life you have to learn to be happy with your life. Don't sit there and quibble all the things you don't have but just enjoy the things you do. And guess what when you can master that you'll likely attract a special someone into your life. Nobody wants to date a sad sack who's always looking around the corner for something better. You learn to love the life you have and it will show you all the love you need.

    • RE: Best plotted porno?

"Tale of Two Brothers" Is my favorite. It's a bit of an oldie, but definitely a goodie. Kind of a romantic comedy about a guy looking for his long lost brother so he can claim his inheritance.

Alice Walker for me. Anyone who can write book about clitorises that I can't put down even as I want to throw up is a hell of a writer in my book. (That book is "Possessing the Secret of Joy" by the way.

    • RE: Rim jobs: yuck or yum?

Less yum and more "Yippee" for me.
I really thought it was pretty gross for a long time until an older guy convinced a drunk me to go home with him. I had never had a rim job before and once he started in on me I was in love. I will admit I've only given rim jobs when I'm showering with someone as I do have reservations myself, but they really are amazing to get.

    • RE: Why do religious people bother so much about gay people?

      @beau:

Is that a control thing? If they thing they are going to heaven and gay people will go to hell, why bother? we wont meet anyway.

I actually remember thinking the very same thing when I was 8 years old and heard my pastor talking about how horrible it was the gay people could get married in Hawaii. After studying a lot of religions I found that in all but Islam homosexuality really isn't a big deal. The fact is people like to feel superior to others so they use religious belief systems to do so going back a long way. For example the ruthless slaughtering of the indigenous peoples of America as well as enslaving Africans was deemed permissible to Christians because they believed that darkened skin was the result of the curse of Canaan and they people were naturally inferior to whites. As time progresses and certain groups gain rights new groups seem to fill the void. Fortunately for gay people the new thing to hate seems to Muslims so we're about to be off the chopping block, but mark my words they will find a reason that God hates them too.

Not so much a turn off for me but since I smoked for seven years myself I know that if I were to date a smoker I'd go right back to smoking myself so I just couldn't do it.
