As a Canadian, of the age of 45, I can generally say that everyone my age and older is highly likely to be circumcised and guys younger than me are somewhat more likely to be…. but I generally haven't encountered a lot of circumcised guys in my "investigations"...
In my first relationship, we had three rules that would lead to immediately ending the relationship. (It lasted 4 years.)
Listed in order of perceived severity.
I grew up in a house of chain smokers where I fled the main rooms as much as possible to try and breath (asthma runs in my family)… I NEVER saw the appeal of a cigarette... and certainly never the second hand smoke...
I don't follow a lot of Mac news… but I remember reading somewhere that a recent update restored a feature back with respect to photos. Perhaps this is what you're seeing, and perhaps you can Google for news related to this and see if there is an update.
The stupid shit I think about when I am not at a computer. If it was me designing this thing, I'd have it remember what it last used successfully and have it default to that when it first powers up, and only attempt to auto-switch away when the signal was dead for a bit (10 seconds) or something (to prevent hysteresis.)
HDMI is a special form of black magic anyway… my PS3 works great with my TV, and my TV works great with my HDMI switcher, but my PS3 does NOT work great when connected to the TV via the HDMI switcher (and I have tried more than one HDMI switcher to solve this problem.) One thing I noticed is my TV has a memory for what was where, even when going through the HDMI switcher... so maybe once you have it working well, it will become the default/preferred state and just keep working. Once could hope.
I did want to mention that I once had an issue with an HDMI cable. I replaced my PS3 because I thought the video was failing... when it warmed up it would get all glitchy and cut in and out. When the same problem reproduced on a brand new PS3, then I got wise and replaced the cable. I think the PS3 pushed enough warm air out the back to cause the cable to become slightly loose in the port... or something. Anyway... just something else to wonder about...
Well a quick Google found me the owners manual in PDF, in which I found the following:
Auto source function enables the HD media player to detect and switch to a new interface connection. For example, the HD media player automatically switches to HD mode when it is connected through an HDMI cable.
source: http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/UM/ENG/4779-705025.pdf
My guess is that you have both sets of cables connected at once and this is confusing for it or your TV or both. Try only using HDMI and see how that goes.
You seem to be under the impression that straight guys get less sex then gay guys…? I don't necessarily think that is the case at all. But if the guy is truly straight and is having sex with a gay guy, then I suppose it is likely the case that he is harder up... or else he'd be sleeping with a woman (if that is his orientation.) So then you get down to why is that guy not getting any... and it's my belief in something like karma... they guys who have good personalities are good lovers and get good amounts of sex... so if some guy is not getting a good amount of sex he's probably not a great person or great at it...

hXXp://doesn't workIn days past, the site did not allow "live links" (for a number of reasons) so we substituted the two "t"s in HTTP with "X"s. It was assumed the user was able to copy the URL, correct the X's back to T's and get the link to work.
There has been no effort made to go back to old posts and edit them to make the links live links… and this is an older post.
I guess my tastes are not as kinky as you, apparently, as I don't think I've ever run into a video the VLC didn't play just fine for me. Actually now that I think of it, I did once have a hard time playing a blueray file of some sort (equivalent to the VOB files for DVD).. but it was just a matter of not playing the whole directory but selecting the specific file I wanted to play.
Related to VLC is Handbrake… they are related in that they use some of the same ffmpeg code in the back end (or at least that is my understanding, I have never delved into the code for either.)
Handbrake does not have the world friendliest UI, but it can do a pretty passable job of transcoding a file from some other format into MP4. I have had to use it to transcode my 1080p video's from men.com to play on my TV or PS3. It seems to properly support multi-core CPUs also, so it can be faster on a machine with more cores. Handbreak can also resize and or limit the bitrate of files for other devices... such as for cellphones and portable gaming devices (PSP/Vita) as well.
On a vaguely related note, I am anxious for support for H.265 to grow... I believe it will allow better quality at the same bitrate, or smaller files with lower bitrate for same quality. I won't consider H.265 to be a success until its the default output format for tools like Handbrake... which won't happen until most devices can successfully play it.
Since I haven't been one to suffer uTorrent crashing….
WHY (and how?) do members experience the problem of uTorrent "crashing" ???
Actually Pawpcorn that's a good question. The user that requested a means to have uTorrent auto-restart said he had 800+ torrents in it, and thought that might have been part of the reason for it crashing. I gave him advice on cleaning it up (how to select and remove multiple torrents at once) but then I also thought the script was a kinda fun challenge for a a couple of hours (well not long to write, longer to test it properly
It could be used for any process that might exit unexpectedly… Or hell.. if you changed the checking interval to much longer, you could even use in unexpected ways, like to occasionally do a backup or something
Nick
Well, I haven't looked at any of your torrents specifically yet, but I will offer you some general comments.
This site is very international… so its highly likely on any specific torrent that the leechers are not close to you in a networking sense, and so that will obviously have an impact on speeds. That could explain why some uploads are slower but that won't explain why you don't upload at all.
Not uploading usually means either you're not connectable, which is usually a firewall issue, or that there is no one downloading what you're offering. On this site, there is always new content showing up, and so for any particular torrent, it's time to shine is very limited... before you know it it falls off the front page and very few new people will stumble across it unless its something they searched for. What this means is that you get the most uploads against the newest torrents, and then as they age off, there are less and less people downloading them. If a torrent is made freeleech, that tends to drive it on to the next level... and it has another brief moment to shine... but the problem then is that its highly likely it has a larger number of seeders by the time it hits the freeleech (because by then it is a week old at least, and already had the first round of downloaders when it was newly uploaded.)
I will also say that there are probably a largish number of users of seedboxes on the site. A seedbox is somewhat harder to compete with... because it appears very fast to the leechers, and the leechers will automatically tune themselves to connect to the fastest seeds. That said, it's not impossible to still get some uploads, even with seedboxes in the mix... it just makes it somewhat slower going. Also, if there are seedboxes here on this site, then they're also likely on the other sites you frequent too.
So here's what I recommend: When you download a torrent, try to be one of the first to become a seeder for it. This gives you the best chance at uploading against it. One approach is to see what is newly uploaded, and pick something that is likely to popular, and jump in. The default search order should be to show the newest stuff first. The popularity thing is a little harder to judge... there are a couple of key content types I have noticed that do well here: bareback and twinks. This is always a "market" for almost anything... but the more niche fetish stuff is not going to be as downloaded as the more mainstream stuff.
One final thing... click on your user ID, scroll to the bottom of the linked page. Here you can see a list of your torrents. Look at this list and see how many seeders there are for the torrents you're also seeding. In general, the higher the number of seeders, the less of a chance each of them have to upload against a torrent. (If all thinks were equal amongst all seeders, the best you could statistically expect is a proportional share.... so for 40 seeders, you could expect 1/40th of the total traffic.) The number of leechers matters, but be wary of collections where there will appear to be leechers, but they may not actually be downloading all the files, so the will forever appear to be leechers... they're really another seeder, but not for all of the content.
I don't know if I offered you more than some possible explanations... torrenting is a bit like the wild wild west and its hard to know what's really going on out there.... but try my suggestion of downloading some new of the newest content and see how that works for you.
I was asked by a user if there was any way to configure uTorrent to relaunch automatically if it crashes. While I would prefer that the user not have crashes, and/or determine the cause of them and fix it, I can still see the use for a script of that sort.
I use a scripting tool called AutoIt for things like this. It's completely free, and it uses an easy to use scripting language that looks somewhat like BASIC. I put together a little script that does the following:
1. When first launched, it checks if the specified application is running, an if it is not found, it launches it.
2. It sits running in the background checking regularly that the app is still running. If it ever finds it missing, it will relaunch it.
3. It has three global hotkeys to enable and disable the checking (so you can temporarily turn off the auto-launch) and one to completely exit the script.
4. The default behaviour is to only attempt a launch at max once per 60 seconds. (This should prevent any bug from making a real mess.)
As you are going to have the source code, you can freely modify it to suit your needs. You can change the hot keys, you can change the checking interval and you can change which app is monitored and launched.
NOTE You need to edit the script to tell it the correct location for your copy of uTorrent, as it is usually specific to the logged in user.
I have tested this script on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Technical Preview. If you use it on other versions of Windows, please feel free to add a note here in the forum to let us know how it worked for you.
There is no warranty of any kind, but I will try my best to help you if you run into problems, just leave a message at the beep
As the code says, You can get AutoIt v3 here: https://www.autoitscript.com/site/ or for the truly lazy https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/
Enjoy,
Nick
Here's the code (and it's also attached, but the name is .txt instead of .au3 because the site prevents unknown file types.) Save the code as: Restart_uTorrent.au3
; This script was written by NMD for GayTorrent.ru
;
; It's an AutoIt script that monitors uTorrent and if
; it's not running, it restarts it.
;
; You can get AutoIt v3 here:
; https://www.autoitscript.com/site/
; or for the truly lazy ;) https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/
;
; When the script is first launched it will immediately do a check and then
; launch uTorrent right then if necessary. It will then keep checking on a
; regular basis and relaunch it again if it goes missing (crashes.)
;
; There are some global variables you may want to tweak, such as how often
; the checks occur. Right now it will only relaunch it once every minute
; to prevent thinks from getting too out of hand should things go truly
; amiss. (You don't want to check too often in case the system gets
; bogged down and you get it trying to launch it multiple times.)
;
; You also will need to edit the path to your uTorrent executable, as
; it appears a default install might install it into a location that
; is user specific.
;
; The script has a couple of Global Hotkeys to enable and disable it so
; you can leave it running but disabled and then quickly start it up
; again later. It also has a Global Hotkey to completely shut it down
; and allow it to leave the system.
;
; The hotkeys are:
; SHIFT-ALT-1 Start Monitoring and re-launching
; SHIFT-ALT-2 Stop Monitoring
; SHIFT-ALT-3 Shut down the script completely

I am not discounting the possibility of the VPN impacting you, but assuming you're running it right now as I post this, I can report that the tracker sees you as connectable, so you should be able to be connected to by leechers.
If you see peers connecting and then disconnecting, odds are they are deciding you're not fast enough for them. VPN's are certainly known to add latency to connections, so that may be perceived as an undesirable connection.
Another thing that I think may be the case, is evident when I look at the list of torrents you're seeding. All of them have a fairly high number of other seeders, so its harder for you to compete, especially if your apparent speed is impacted by the VPN.
Here's the number of seeders on your various torrents:
103 28 22 56 25 53 13 49 20 35 29 38 56 73 34 47 15 63 37 8 17 19 19
At least one of them appears to have 12 leechers, but they're actually people not downloading the who set of files and so are really a form of seeder (of the incomplete set of files.)
I think, you should try picking a brand newly uploaded file (freeleech if you can get one with low seeders) but otherwise something fresh to the site, and perform an experiment on it to see if it works as you'd expect. Your goal is to be one of the first seeders on the file, so you can seed it out to leechers than join after you. (Note that certain things seem to be more popular on the site, such as bareback twinks.)
I looked at your account. You're currently seeding 4 torrents, all of which have a great many seeders (for your privacy I will not include the titles):
#Seeders
360
71
178
64
With that many seeders, its unlikely you will ever upload much… for example lets say the first file with 360 seeders was a 1.2G file, then in the best case, if a new leech joins and downloads 100% of the file, your share of the uploading would be 1.2G / 360 = 3.3M, hardly anything to get up in the night over. (And perhaps your upload speed is not the greatest... the P2P system is the definition of chaos... with each peer independently deciding who to download from... if they do connect to you, you might not seem like the best choice if your speed is not fast, so they could disconnect and go elsewhere.)
Unfortunately you need to kind of play a game... and get new stuff when there are a low number of seeders so there is more chance for you to upload as new leechers come on. You could have also done the same thing with new upload before you lost your download rights. I suspect right now you're only choosing things you might want... but until your build a ratio... you have to go with what is new and you expect will be popular rather than if it personally interests you.
Don't forget, just by the mere act of seeding you are earning seed bonus points, which you can turn into upload credits eventually. (The best deal can be achieved with 24/7 seeding over 2 months... you will earn at least 600 SBP which you can turn into a 10G upload credit.)
But the fastest way to guarantee some increased ratio is to upload something new. This guarantees you at least the amount of upload credit of the file you upload... and likely some more over time as more leechers come on and some drop off.
You can also donate to the site... and you can earn SBP by finding and reporting dupes, uploading additional [appropriate] pictures for torrents with too few, and by participating here in the forums. If you do upload, you can get 600 SBP from the first time uploader program, and if others like your upload, they may also gift you SBP to say thanks.
Good luck… I'm sure with some more work you can make a repair and become a happy fair sharing site member.
Hey I just uploaded two torrents and additionally downloaded and reseed some freeleech (to raise my ratio)
This is the image of my ratio in the attachment, You can see I have uploaded 3.34 GB and downloaded only 187.43 MB and my ratio is apparently too high 18.246.
But in the ratio tab when I click it it says (and you can see in the image) "Your Current Minimum Ratio is Highlighted" and it has the 0.2!
Is this because the 18.246 that I have is not listed so this page doesn't really show anything or is it some sort of a bug?
The highlighted line in your rationator output is based solely on how much you have downloaded. You have downloaded less than 2G (as you said, you have only downloaded 187.43MB) so it highlights that line because 187MB is less than 2G.
The line highlighted in rationator is your goal. You are currently WAY OVER your goal, so congrats. As you download more, your goal will step further down the list in rationator… and your goal ratio will increase accordingly. So long as you stay above 1.05, you'll gain access to power user status and all will be well with your membership on the site.
So in summary:
You current goal ratio is 0.2
You currently are way above this at 18.246
Enjoy the site and keep up the good sharing
