Not sure what to say about the validity of the requests. But the same type of content I used to upload on this site without any issues a couple of months ago, is now taken down for DMCA. ( Fan site content shared yesterday by me was deleted within 5 hours, but similar content but uploaded a couple of months ago is still up) I've had quite many.
I am also a member of another community similar to this one. No problems with what I upload there, only here. And it's shame since I really like this one.
I see that these type of complaints are being dismissed with replies such as " Of, maybe the uploader deleted the torrent ''
I think it would be beneficial to have updated upload guidelines.

I had a torrent removed within the first 3 minutes of upload. The files had numbers, thumbnails were created by me, no name was provided. Do you guys believe there is also a user infiltrated here ? The frequency of these DMCAs makes me reluctant top upload.

Hi. Update: New DMCA record: I received it within 3 minutes from upload. The torrent had a generic name, thumbnails created by me so I am tempted to think that we are taking about a user here who reports them. Anybody else experiencing similar issues ? I understand details cannot be shared but maybe if you noticed any patterns.

I've just uploaded a torrent and received a DMCA within minutes. Other 2 taken down in the last week. Things are going downhill

I am on the same page with you. I am a member of 2 other similar platforms and I've always favored this one over those two. But my perception is that things are getting worse. Indeed, a simple google search will many times point you directly to this site but that is precisely what is concerning.

I have not experienced DMCA issues for years and in the last couple of months, I was hit repeatedly with notifications and now I have this message: Due to our receiving a multitude of takedown requests regarding material you have uploaded, your upload privileges are hereby revoked for 90 days. ( no other details provided and it's been saying 90 days for a week now )
I would like to know from your experience if you have noticed things going south here this year like receiving in a short period of time many DMCA messages even for content that was later posted by other people, upload issues.
Your feedback would be useful for me to decide if I should switch to other platforms. I was particularly baffled by the upload option being revoked as I was able to find the same or similar content on the site without any issues being seeded.
To keep it short, do you encounter similar problems ?

DMCA notifications have been sent with a very unusual high frequency, sometimes even within the first 5 minutes from the moment the content was posted. This is very concerning, especially when I see admin replies implying we are confusing DMCA takedowns with dupe removals. Something changed on this site within the last weeks and it feels like a targeted move.
