You should not have tried to download a big file of 2 GB as your first download - I gave you a 2nd chance to complete the download of that file so you can seed it afterwards and are able to at least earn seed bonus points for seeding that file. For the future I recommend trying with smaller files until you have some files to ´seed. But please try to download your first file completely with this 2nd chance.

You can exchange your SBP against upload traffic (to increase your ratio) or against invites (inviting other ppl to our site when the free registration day (1st of a month) is over). Exchanging against invites does only make sense for power users - only PU can invite people, not normal users.

The best offer for traffic exchange is the option #3 on the exchange page (to get there just click Bonus in the line below the blue menu bar on top of every page). Just compare what you get for 1 SPB:

#1 : 1 SBP = 10,24 MB upload traffic
#2 : 1 SBP = 12,8  MB upload traffic
#3 : 1 SBP = 14,63 MB upload traffic

Früher war das mal nötig (eine Strafanzeige) um Akteneinsicht zu bekommen. Set der Neufassung des Urherberrechtsschutzgesetzes ist "nur" noch eine richterliche Anordnung zur Auskunft (an den Provider) notwendig - und vom Amtsgericht Köln (Sitz der T) werden die nur einfach durchgewinkt )ich persönlich bezweifele dabei die juristische Prüfung der Angemessenheit - wie könnten sonst Anträge für 1300 IP Auskünfte (in einem Antrag) so schnell erledigt werden (Informationen nur aus meinem Gedächtnis nach einem c't Bericht vor einiger Zeit)

Wie gesagt, Selbstschutz dürfte die beste Lösung sein: PeerBlock !

Leider ist die Sache nicht ganz so einfach

Der Weg ist für anti p2p Firmen relativ einfach: sich mit einem (oder vielen) torrent(s) ausrüsten (dürfte nicht weiter schwierig sein), dann mit in den Schwarm gehen und die IP-Adressen der seeder festhalten.

Mit den "Beweisen" eine Auskunftsbewilligung für den Provider bei Gericht erwirken (Telekom spielt da gut mit ), und das ganze dann an einen "befreundeten" (oder verbandelten) Anwalt geben, der dann massenweise Abmahnungen los lässt

Die einzige Methode, die mir (momentan) bekannt ist - ein Programm installieren, das mit gut gepflegten(!!!)Sperrlisten die Verbindung zu solchen peers nicht zulässt. Mir ist (als aktuelles Programm) momentan nur PeerBlock (hxxp://www.peerblock.com) bekannt, das bei mir auch läuft und eine ganze Reihe von Peers geblockt hat von USA Regierungsstellen bis hin zu deutschen Rechtsanwaltskanzleien.

Ich kann ein solches Programm nur dringend empfehlen, um die Abmahnwelle in Deutschland nicht zu einem Tsunami werden zu lassen!

hmmm - I wonder why people don't have a look at the left side of forum postings, there is nearly everything available which can help with a decision about SBP - isn't it? Of course only for users who really post in our forum I admit - but we should convince all users to use our forum a bit more and not only download pr0n

move (from the VIDEO_TS folder) all files with an IFO extension (*.IFO) to a safe place elsewhere (not to damage them) and copy or rename all files with extension .BUP to the same name with extension .IFO **(copy .BUP .IFO)
