At least they are being honest, unlike the scandal at Ballou High School in DC.
Every kid graduated, despite over half of the kids missing more than 6 weeks of school. The entire 2017 graduating class got into college, but most dropped out after a short period because they couldn't do the work.
DC's head of public education justified the massive amounts of unexcused absents and still passing by saying that kids can learn anywhere they happen to be.
As always, it's the racism of low expectations.
