I am surprised that nobody mentioned that the Royal costumes looked drab due to Charlie replacing real fur for synthetic.

I could not believe how boring the Coronation was. I expected a lot of nice music and pageantry.. but instead it was a lot of music that droned on, and almost no fanfare. It was also interesting that the cameras almost never showed any of the royal family (Edward, Anne, Andrew, William, Kate, Harry) I think I caught a bit of George, who was making weird faces like he was taking meth to stay awake.

There ARE people who are genuine transSEXUALS who are born with both a penis and vagina, or are male, but have a penis so tiny that they decide to raise them as females. This is something like 1% of the population.
The current "TRANS" movement are actually almost entirely male transVESTITES. Men pretending they are women, using the ladies restroom, etc. Most transvestites are STRAIGHT, however some are gay, and seem to want to be accepted as being a female rather than being labeled a gay male / fag, etc. I have never wanted anybody to think of me as being a female.

Ang Lee told actors (most notably Randy Quaid) that he was making a LOW-BUDGET movie that had a gay theme and was just a "little movie". Because it was presumed that the movie would not be viewed by many people, actors such as Randy Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Heath Ledger were not worried about having their careers type-cast or otherwise affected by being in a gay themed movie. Also, they agreed to work for very little money because it was pitched as being a low-budget movie. BUT, Ang Lee lied to them. That movie was a huge production that cost a fortune to make, and was not only seen by millions of people, it was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture, and won for Best Director. (it was expected to win for Best Picture also).
