@raphjd here's an idea.. require a social security number to vote. and that number is on the ballot. That would not only verify that the person was a citizen, but also prevent people from voting more than once.. and having their votes counted more than once.

I have a personal comment to add.. my oldest brother has always been a total asshole.. and not in a good way.

Whatever is factual and sensible and true.. he OPPOSES! He gets off thinking that he knows better than what is correct, and stands on his head trying to prove it. He is the kind of person who would insist that 2+2 = 17

There are a lot of people like that.. in fact, perhaps MOST people are like that to a degree.

The way I approach things is that I don't automatically oppose things the way my brother does, but I don't ACCEPT what other people think either. For instance, there is a criminal case, in which a person has been falsely convicted. It is way too complicated to discuss here. But, the way I have approached this case for the past 9.5 years is to CONSIDER that everything being said is TRUE! And examined it. In EVERY CASE, once I examined things further, it turned out that what was said was misinterpreted, wrong, missing facts, or blatant lies. BUT.. even then.. as the years have gone by, everytime I find something old or new about that case, I consider it to be true.. but don't accept it without examining it further. This has happened so many times that when I find new things, I don't get upset - I am confident that after closer examination, it will turn out to be false. Here is an example of what I mean. There is something about that case, which MUST be true for the person to be guilty. Something very significant happened that would have been captured on at least a dozen, if not hundreds of surveillance cameras. BUT.. I have offered $5000 to anybody who can produce even one image of what those cameras must have captured. This event was spread out between an apartment building, busy streets, a subway system, traffic cameras, cameras on many stores exteriors, an indoor mall, and a store which the supposed criminal entered which had 21 surveillance cameras! Certainly the staff of the stores, the police, an attorney, an eyewitness, a staff member of the apartment building, SOMEBODY would have come forth with at least one image or even eye-witness account. Only ONE person did! But that is even more mysterious. A person who lived in the apartment building claimed to see this event, before anybody else knew it even occurred. How is it possible that this person saw this, yet 4 surveillance cameras which MUST be passed to get in or out of the building failed to capture this? That person who was the shady eye witness - vanished over 9 years ago, and has not been seen nor heard of since. That person is the actual killer! The phrase "he who smelt it, dealt it" applies.

@mishmasher17 Use Qbittorrent instead. Utorrent is fatally flawed.. for instance.. disk cache overloads, and torrents that lose their associations with files. and very slow loading times.

Yes.. people with anything in common tend to become allies. Unfortunately, when you are a genius and the rest of the people are morons, the morons form an alliance to make your life hell. I have even had job interviews in which the interviewers have been honest with me, and explained that they were not going to hire me, because I was more qualified than THEY were! They would say it in a way such as "you would not be happy here because it is beneath you". That is true.. but it's a double-edged sword. When overqualified, I was not hired because of that reason. And when underqualified, my real skills could not compete with the lies that other people put on their resumes.

@raphjd One problem I've had with smokers is that they tend to develop instant alliances with other smokers.
For instance, the manager of a place I worked with was a smoker. That resulted in him becoming automatic friends with any of the workers that also smoked - and they would have their two 15 minute breaks per day to chat away while pickling their lungs.

@dragosbeat QTM just creates torrents. ANY Torrent client will work with QTM created torrents.

By the way, my biggest problem with uTorrent is that it randomly "loses" the associations between torrents and the files downloaded. You wind up with orphaned files on your hard drive that are nearly impossible to access, delete, etc.

@djsoapbubble I have bitched about this many times. I upload something.. and include good images, then someone else comes along and adds crappy images - replacing mine. The uploader should be able to designate which image is the main image.

I have posted many videos which were taken down for copyright infringement because someone complained.. yet the same titles posted by other people in different sizes remain on the site.

I think one reason is because the poster of the other sized videos doesn't want there to be other versions posted - taking download points from theirs.

They don't verify if the complainer is a valid complainer before removing the torrents. They should delay removing torrents until at least 24 hours after the fake complaint is made to verify it.

Actually, this does not happen much anymore. It used to be that I could not upload ANYTHING without it being taken down almost immediately.

This would have an added benefit. Many gay guys don't decide they are gay until they are in their late 20's, and have already had children!
If those guys had experience gay sex BEFORE having children, a lot of them would never have had children... thus reducing population growth!
Less population = less fuel needs = saving the world!
