It still amazes me how many duplicates get posted when on the simplest of searches the duplicates show up.

One I saw this morning had mangled the studio name, I wondered why, it was a duplicate. So the seeder's time and effort were wasted as it was probably taken down before anyone had downloaded a byte to give him upload credit.

Still easy pickings for those like me who need every bonus point they can get 

Yeah, but as long as one person starts as a leecher before TPTB take down the page the uploader will get anything that they upload.

What are you looking for in uTorrent?

Your port number should be listed under connection in preferences.

As a coincident to thonyboy's ratio issue, I was curious about the following:

Identifying NON-Standard File name characters can be a bit tricky, because there are SOME NON-Standard characters that LOOK and APPEAR standard, but in fact are from a Foreign Language font, and not supported by QTM.

If thonyboy's ratio hadn't been the problem, does anyone know if his use of the ampersand (&) in the title could have?

Only if it is a non-standard character ampersand. I would also hazard to say that having it in the title might not make a difference, however, having it in the file name would cause a problem.

You made the torrent in QTM and now you are trying to download it and seed it with Vuze.

That might be a problem since your ratio is below the minimum. You should be able to make the torrent and page in QTM, however, the redownload of the torrent would be a problem. You might have to contact the help desk for a link to the torrent file that you can use. The only work around I know is to use QTM with uTorrent since they are linked together and once QTM is done it will download the .torrent file and launch uTorrent.

Your best option if no one responds here is to contact the helpdesk.

You know I thought we just talked about the search function, but the only thread I can come up with is "How To: Search For a Duplicate Torrent Before Uploading a New Torrent."

Post 12 is dated on 27/12/14. Is that the most current?

Here is my results on Antonio Biaggi and Owen Powers checking the torrent name, file name and file description, including dead torrents.

As you can see the search returned nothing.

Now, I know better. I searched again just using Antonio Biaggi with these search results

As you can see the sixth one down is the torrent I would be looking for. They used & instead of and. Sometimes it is better to search with less and just look at all the results than trying to hit the bullseye.

When you got the duplicate message then provided a link to the original torrent. I would take a look at the original and see what caused your search results.

Now the interesting part when I search for Antonio Biaggi Owen Powers I received these results

From my understanding the search excludes the word and unless it is inside quotes. Meaning shouldn't my first search have turned up the same as the third search?

No, LEVI and yes canonmc all those strings must be contained somewhere in the torrent name, but not the exact words and in that order.

To explain a little:
"Fucking solo young and thinking can be bad" would match that search, because: "Fucking solo young and thinking can be bad" got all these strings.

What you are saying is all the words or should I say letter combinations have to be present to return a result. As in this example.

so you think you can fuck, each letter combination so…you...think...can...fuck would have to be present in the torrent name, since that is what the search on based on, for a result to be returned. However, with quotes it would have to return an exact match to what was inside the quotes.

Without quotes your results will be any torrent with the words
so…or
you...or
think...or
can...or
fuck

In the torrent name.

Also remember to check the torrent description and the file name. There is no fool proof system for finding if a torrent wold be a duplicate, but I find searching on the actors/models names more helpful than searching on the title of a movie, unless I receive nothing back in a search.

You could even post the URL to the video in this thread to see if anybody has the video to share.

It is two different accounts that are posting and the threads are being read.

Would it surprise you to know that a blond is a male and not female.

The only difference between uploading a single file and uploading a collection of files would be.

Instead of cchecking the "Upload File" you check "Upload Folder" a pop up will appear. You navigate to the folder that holds the collection.

Example you have a Bel Ami collection in a folder labeled BAO inside the folder labeled "My Porn" you would navigate to "My Porn" folder and select the "BAO" folder.

Also the site has a rule for collection/ (any torrent with more than one file.) You must list the file names and size in the description. The easiest way to get this information is on the torrent's detail page after you have QTM make the page. Click on file size, then copy and paste onto the torrent page by way of the edit page.

All other steps are the same. Just to note in uTorrent when asked where to save. You would not save in the BAO folder, but save in the "My Porn" folder. The torrent itself will be making the "BAO" folder.

How are we supposed to report duplicate movies?

On the torrent detail page at the bottom there is a report duplicate link. You must have the URL of the detail page of what you think is the original torrent.

Have you found your downloading right suspended? Follow these steps to raising your Ratio.

Step 1. First vote on the categories of the torrents you have downloaded.

a. Click on "Search"
b. Click on "Show torrents not yet voted "
c. Open a torrent detail page in a new tab.
d. The first line. Click on "Please Vote"
e. Select up to 5 categories you think the movie best fits.
f. Click [Submit Category vote]
g Wait the a pop up acknowledging your vote.
h Close the tab

Repeat a - h until everything you have downloaded has been voted on. You earn 2 Seed bonus points for each vote.

Depending on the number of torrents you have download you might be able to buy the UL traffic you need to raise your ratio.

100 SBP will buy 1GB of UL
200 SBP will buy 2.5GB of UL
350 SBP will buy 5GB of UL
600 SBP will buy 10GB of UL

Still not enough to restore you downloading rights.

Step 2

Click on "Search"
Click on "Show Freeleech torrents"

You can sort the list by the number of leeches. What you are looking for is a high leech count and a low seeder count, at least that is what I choose.

Download these freeleeches. Once they go to seed just let them continue to seed they don't count in your DL number, but anything you upload while downloading or seeding counts in your UL number. In your torrent client (uTorrrent, bittorrent, Vuze) you want the ratio for any torrent that you download to reach at least a 1.5 that means that you have uploaded 1.5 times as much as you have download. The higher the ratio the better.

Once these freeleeches have finished downloading go back to step one and repeat it to earn your category votes.

Step 3.

Upload files for others to download. This will increase your UL by how big the file is at least. As long as you are the only seeder to the torrent.

Step 4

Submit to the first time uploader program

This will earn you 600SBP which can buy UL traffic.

A simple quick guide on using QTM with uTorrent for people that might be having problems.

Your ratio is below the minimum and you want to upload to Gaytorrent.ru, but you have never accomplished the process before.

You have a video file or any other kind of file you want to upload. For this tutortial we will upload a single video file.

The first thing you want to do is do a search of Gaytorrent to make sure there the file has not already been uploaded with the same format or size.

We will upload a video file called Levi Wanking it.mp4

This video file is located inside "My Porn" folder

Start QTM

Fill in your Login and Password. Click [Login]

Select the radial button for Upload File

File path needs to point to your video file. Use the […] button to navigate to your video file. In this case D:\My Porn\LEVI Wanking It.mp4

Select a catagory using the drop down menu

Clcik on [Add Pictures]. Browse to where you stored your photos and clcik on a photo, then click on [Open]
Repeat this step for every photo you want to add.

Add a name that will be displayed on the torrent detail page.

Write a description for the movie. Actors, Studio. Tell something about the movie to get people to download it.

Clcik on [Upload Torrent]. This will start the upload process. Depending on the file size and the number of photos being added will determine the
time it takes to complete the process. There will be a progress bar and a count down for the backend process. Do not surf the web during this time.

When the process is complete a pop up window will appear saying the torrent was uploaded. Click [Ok], then click [Quit] to close QTM.

QTM should download the .torrent file and start uTorrent with no need to do anything else. However, if that doesn't happen follow the steps below.

On the Gaytorrent website. Click on "Profile". Click on "My Torrents". Click on the name that you called the webpage. In this case it would be LEVI Wanking It.

Clcik on [Download]. This will save the .torrent file to your computer.

There are 5 ways to open your .torrent file you just downloaded.

1. Open it with your browser.
2. Double click on the .torrent file
3. Drag the .torrent file into uTorrent
4. Click on the + symbol on the uTorrent menu
5. Click on file, then add on the uTorrent menu

Which ever way you choose all will bring up the same pop up window.

The top line "Save In", this is asking which folder you want to save the download into.

Use the […] button to naviage to the folder in which the video file is located. As in this case remember the file is in "My Porn" folder.
You can either highlite the folder or open up the folder.

Once you have naviagted to the folder, click [Select Folder]. Then press [Ok].

uTorrent will check the information in the .torrent file with against the information of the file. The Status bar in uTorrent will say "Checking" with a percentage.
Once it has finished checking it will turn to seeding.

Those are the simple steps to making a .torrent file with QTM and seeding it with uTorrent.
