This is another good show from Australia. It more of a family drama but done quite well. The show was cancelled after series 2 but fan demand/outrage brought it back to another network for an additional two series. So it is guaranteed to have at least 4 series. They have started filming 4th series last month.

As lilac tree mentioned  A Place to Call Home I became addicted to that as well. More of a family saga.

Starting with series 2 might get you a little confused. Part of the story carries over from the first season. If you need any holes filled in (no pun) let me know.
