Does anyone have any recommendations for books set in Las Vegas?

Eh, I get the complaint. Most of the numbers thrown out there are bs and it always becomes a "see it to believe it" situation. But at the same time, people have different definitions of "huge" or whatever, so the numbers provide some indication. But I always round down when I see the numbers people give.

Tyler Hill is up there on my list.

I enjoy making soup on quiet weekends, because it's easy to make it bulk and freeze for later, too. Also often helps me use up leftover vegetables and meats in my fridge.

I recently painted my bedroom "First Light" by Benjamin Moore. Nowhere near as pink as it looks online and provides some orange and yellow, so it makes it much easier to wake up in the morning.

What workouts are you doing to stay active for areas that are under quarantine?

My husband took my last name when we got married. I told him that I would never change my last name, so he has to make sure he really wanted to change his name (I was okay with keeping separate names). It was a hassle for him to change his name, but he says it was worth it.

Dogs. I have two small dogs, but they're perfect for apartment life.

Soup. On Sunday afternoons (especially in the winters), it's great to take the left over vegetables from the week, add some beans, broth and meat, and then let it simmer for a few hours.
