these are the things that turn me off when watching a porn movie and almost always make me press "forward" and/or hit the "stop" button:

5. real physical pain or portrayed physical pain (such as those pretending it's their first time to get fucked and shouts and cries)... i never found pain sexual.

6. rape (i know it's just a "pretend rape" or "fantasy" but the idea of maltreating someone or abusing them isn't appealing to me)

7. rimming (i almost always push "forward" but not "stop")

8. anorexic twinks having sex. (muscular twinks and twinks with average body weight are fine, especially if they're having sex with someone older, who may or may not be a daddy figure)

9. anything to do with incest (real, like the bartok twins, etc. or pretend/acting only).

10. overly muscular guys like zeb atlas or the new matt rush (i like the old matt rush where his body was just deliciously muscular unlike the current mutant-like steroid-enhanced muscular physique that he has)

I suppose people do lie a lot on the internets, but usually when people lie they do so for a fairly logical reason. What gain would there be for a man saying he was female on a mostly gay male forum? Wouldn't the opposite situation be more logical (a female on a gay male forum pretending to be male)? I'm not picking over this but I am genuinely curious. Is people lying about their sex a common occurrence on this forum?

there are 3 possible things that i can imagine from your original post.

1. he could be gay and slowly discovering who he is but your aggressiveness gave him fear and made him very defensive and pushed him back to the closet.

2. he could be just a very friendly straight guy. i have a lot of straight friends and they think it's cool to have gay/bi friends and consider our inputs (especially about the ladies) very useful. sometimes these straight guys (mainly because of conditioning) are confused on how to treat us without offending us which make them shuttle back and forth from treating us like one of the straight guys and like of the girls they know. but that doesn't mean they like us sexually.

3. your having a crush on him clouded your judgment. it could be that he was just straight and nice to you but you misinterpreted his words and actions and placed deeper meanings into otherwise mundane comments and actions. we all do that sometimes.

these are just possible scenarios, of course. i don't really know you, that guy or the exact situation/happening.

but whatever it is, hopefully you'll be able to evaluate everything with a clear head and decide accordingly.
