@raphjd Nothing ridiculous about that considering that child is maybe 4 and a long way off from puberty. Given that rationale, he should never be allowed to vote
Why didn't they just use an infant, or an unborn fetus? Why do I expect anything resembling logic and reason from the whacked out right?

You might want to check the bias of the articles you chose.
The "bias" of actual reporting on how people actually voted? Ok, Q.

@raphjd I love watching you flounder when you are wrong. Just repeating what you hear on Fox/Sky doesn't mean it's true

@raphjd Only if he can get Congress to agree with him. Sure, Biden can call for more funding for Ukraine, but as we saw, he didn't get it until Congress decided to give it to him.
But we digress......

@raphjd You are wrong. They all spend massive amounts on the military, and the President has nothing to do with the budget. That's Congress. He just signs the bill.
But if you look at bills that designed to aid service members (pay and benefits) and vets (services), Republicans have a history of blocking or trying to reduce them. They usually get shamed into eventually passing them though (eg Jon Stewart).

@lololulu19 And Buttigieg. The problem with that video is he is talking about proposed increases to the budget. The US military budget is already huge. While Republicans focus on increasing spending for their friends in the Military Industrial Complex, Democrats focus on salaries and benefits for Veterans. This started with Reagan (something I know about because my father was a disabled vet at that time).

@raphjd Vs hundreds (maybe more) that perform all the time with no incident whatsoever.
If someone breaks the law, punish them. If they don't, don't vilify them.

@raphjd No need. Highlighting anomalies is your gig.

Right. Because Republicans have a long history of wanting to give money to the poor....lol

@raphjd I'm guessing you didn't study logic at university.

@raphjd You never run out of finding ways to blame the libs and resolve the conservatives. One would think that you'd at least try to avoid doing what you accuse other of. Hypocrite.

@raphjd You are right. I won't watch it because I don't have time. But if what you are saying is true, then they should get rid of the lot.

RE: The Trumps' Memorial Day Saluteposted in Politics & Debate
@raphjd I am not talking about Ukraine. I am talking about funding for US veterans.
But they probably don't report about them on Fox.

It's your side that are the dominant military haters.
You have no proof of that. Hating certain wars does not mean hating veterans. And if you follow recent congressional voting records, you will find the GOP literally not willing to put money where their mouths are.

Why do you always get so hysterical over Trump?
That's not the question to ask. The real question is why you, and so many other self-declared intelligent, principled people don't.
Trump is not new. He has has been a piece of shit for decades. This a guy whose mentor was Roy Cohn, for fuck sake.
I don't care if someone is conservative. I even can understand it. But a Trump supporter? That's the real derangement. You have heard him speak, right? lol

His senior law clerk is, at the very least, "pals" with Sen Schumer.
This is a problem but Clarence Thomas taking "gifts" from conservative donors is not?

RE: The Trumps' Memorial Day Saluteposted in Politics & Debate
@raphjd Wow. And you accuse me of making excuses for people. So you are saying that it doesn't matter how the Trumps choose to "honor" veterans because most liberals do not care about the military? If only conservatives were as outraged by this as they were when Easter happened to all on Transgender Day of Visibility, which Trump blamed on Biden. Typical rightwing lies and faux clutching of pearls.
Your hypocrisy just keeps rearing its stupid, glaringly obvious, head.
By the way, my liberal mother has spent the last few days volunteering to decorate veteran's graves and my Facebook feed is full of my liberal friends' tributes to vets. In other words, your BIASES once again are clouding your grip on reality.
