Right. Because Republicans have a long history of wanting to give money to the poor....lol

@raphjd I'm guessing you didn't study logic at university.
@raphjd You never run out of finding ways to blame the libs and resolve the conservatives. One would think that you'd at least try to avoid doing what you accuse other of. Hypocrite.
@raphjd You are right. I won't watch it because I don't have time. But if what you are saying is true, then they should get rid of the lot.
@raphjd I am not talking about Ukraine. I am talking about funding for US veterans.
But they probably don't report about them on Fox.
@raphjd said in The Trumps' Memorial Day Salute:
It's your side that are the dominant military haters.
You have no proof of that. Hating certain wars does not mean hating veterans. And if you follow recent congressional voting records, you will find the GOP literally not willing to put money where their mouths are.
@raphjd said in The Trumps' Memorial Day Salute:
Why do you always get so hysterical over Trump?
That's not the question to ask. The real question is why you, and so many other self-declared intelligent, principled people don't.
Trump is not new. He has has been a piece of shit for decades. This a guy whose mentor was Roy Cohn, for fuck sake.
I don't care if someone is conservative. I even can understand it. But a Trump supporter? That's the real derangement. You have heard him speak, right? lol

His senior law clerk is, at the very least, "pals" with Sen Schumer.
This is a problem but Clarence Thomas taking "gifts" from conservative donors is not?

the dirty DOJ/FBI we are talking about.
Game, Set, Match to Putin.
@raphjd Wow. And you accuse me of making excuses for people. So you are saying that it doesn't matter how the Trumps choose to "honor" veterans because most liberals do not care about the military? If only conservatives were as outraged by this as they were when Easter happened to all on Transgender Day of Visibility, which Trump blamed on Biden. Typical rightwing lies and faux clutching of pearls.
Your hypocrisy just keeps rearing its stupid, glaringly obvious, head.
By the way, my liberal mother has spent the last few days volunteering to decorate veteran's graves and my Facebook feed is full of my liberal friends' tributes to vets. In other words, your BIASES once again are clouding your grip on reality.
@raphjd Ok. Nice excuse. And Eric's?

To be expected from Pvt. Bone Spurs and his brain dead spawn.
@raphjd I mentioned those three judges because there is evidence they are, in fact, dirty. I don't think every conservative judge is dirty. I have no problem with the others on the Supreme Court. I may not agree with their rulings, but I don't think they are dirty in the way that Alito and Thomas are.
The conflict of interest you mention is the fact that those judges supported Democratic candidates, I am assuming. So would it be better if we selected judges who supported the GOP to preside? Would that have been more fair? Or should we require judges to be absolutely neutral politically? Good luck with that. The judicial system is not perfect, for sure. But it only does the country an extreme disservice when either side calls it into question haphazardly.
I do believe that there are outside forces working to tear down Western democracies by many means, one of which to create distrust in our fundamental institutions. And as we can see, they are succeeding. They are also spreading hate and misinformation, so that we can no longer have civil conservations and learn to compromise. And as we can see from this board, game, set, match for them.
@raphjd Good for you. I didn't say I disagreed with your post, only your personal attack on me. You misquoted me. That was the issue I was addressing.
@raphjd And only judges who rule against conservatives are dirty in your tiny little right-wing mind.
@raphjd Why are you willfully misquoting me? I never said there were no dirty judges. If fact, I mentioned Cannon, Alito and Thomas as examples of very dirty judges.

I can't think of anything more inconsequential.
@raphjd The former yes, the latter no. I know how much you hate all Muslims (because you are so unbiased), so am just going to let that lie.
I also know how important having the last word feeds into your delusions of having won an argument (and when you feel yourself slipping you throw in some unrelated topic such as Palestinian "shit"), so I will just give you this one. It's too absurd to be arsed about.
