Compare the rate of temperature increases and sea level increases with the rate of debt that Sheik Osama accumulated during his 8 year occupation of the White House.  Obama increased that debt nearly 100% in just 8 years.  The rate of climate change and tides over that period is virtually nothing.. far smaller than the record low 3% economic growth rate of Obama's reign.

So.. what is the issue that is the bigger concern?

I'm amazed that the oceans have risen so little! 
Of COURSE there is climate change, but what is the cause?  Change in orbit?  Closer to the Sun?  More solar activity? 
I have researched this before, and the affect that man has had on the CLIMATE is virtually NOTHING!  Furthermore, the impact that man has on the climate is not from carbon emissions but other things. 
That is not to say that carbon emissions are not bad.  They contribute to pollution, etc.  BUT they have virtually nothing to do with climate change.

Once the moonbats have been proven to be wrong over and over and over and over and over.. again.  They lose all their credibility and reputation.. and give up posting their garbage and echoing "fake news". 
If the same thing happened in society as a whole, virtually nobody would bother to watch the 24/7 news channels, the late night clowns, etc.  The media is fueled by "fake news".  The media have adopted the techniques of "The National Enquirer" and other scandal rags.  Take away their candy, and the babies are no longer interested.

Bernie Sanders has an idea for healthcare that is essentially forcing everybody to pay into a system which is just like Medicare.

First of all, government is horrible at providing health care.. just look at the VA system as an example.
Medicare is also a disaster.  It is a massive sea of bureaucracy, with substandard care, and good doctors don't work with medicare.

Anyway, Bernie's plan would cost $1.8 trillion per year.  That is $5600.00 per year for every man, woman, and child in the country.  Since there are only 85 million people in the country who are earning an income, that comes to over $21,000.00 out of every yearly paycheck.  In other words, it is a sure way to bankrupt the country.

People on medicare aren't getting it for free.  They spent a lifetime paying into social security / medicare…  and only when they get to be elderly do they get any benefit from it.  This year, my father got a $1320 increase in his benefits.. however $0 of that went to his social security checks.  that is how much his medicare payment went up!

Threatening to throw people's sick children off of their health insurance is not a very good strategy. The ads will basically write themselves and the Republicans will continue to dig themselves into a deep ditch that they will not be able to climb out of in 2018. The fact is that the president promised universal healthcare during the campaign and now he's advocating to literally kill people with serious pre-existing conditions. He's a lying coward and this is one of the many issues that proves he's a lying coward.

I'm glad you are enjoying Trump's successes.  I was mistaken.  I thought you hated Trump when you actually hate republicans.  I hate republicans too.. Democrats have won 6 state seats that belonged to Republicans in special elections this year: 3 in Oklahoma, 2 in New Hampshire and 1 in New York. There will be more held and we'll see what happens, but it seems like there's a turning point going on similar to what happened in 2006 and 2010 for Democrats and Republicans, respectively. In Alabama, more Democrats turned out than everyone assumed in the primary for the special election to finish Jeff Sessions' Senate term. The Republican plant posing as a Democrat, Robert Kennedy, Jr. was soundly beat by more Democrats turning out to vote for the real Democratic candidate Doug Jones, who actually has a chance to beat either Roy Moore or Luther Strange because of the Republicans taking sides in the Republican primary runoff. He has a chance, most likely he'll lose but he has a chance which is rare for a Democrat in Alabama.

If things keep heading in this direction then there's no doubt the 2018 midterms will be a wave in the Democrats direction that will lead us into the 2020 election the same way 2006 led us into 2008. When midterm elections have high turnout instead of wins based on low turnout (i.e. Republicans in 2010 & 2014), Democrats win and the momentum propels the best candidates to run for president. 2006 inspired Barack Obama to run and he won in 2008 because of that Democratic wave and of course the incompetence of GWB.

I do have a question though… aren't the special elections you are referring to STATE LEVEL elections for state legislatures, and not federal level?

I think the much bigger story is that all politicians are awful, and the reason Trump got elected is because he is NOT a politician.
