Minutes ago the Senate Judiciary Committee released a letter sent today from the FBI to Senator Chuck Grassley, the Chairman of the Committee, which states it is "intended to supplement" Comey's testimony.

"Director Comey spoke of hundreds and thousands of emails being forwarded from Ms. Abedin to Mr. Weiner's laptop," the letter says, noting "the FBI believes it is reasonable to conclude that most of the emails found on Mr. Weiner's laptop…occurred as a result of a backup of personal electronic devices."

"Investigators," the letter continues, "ultimately determined that two email chains containing classified information were manually forwarded to Mr. Weiner's account."

Senate Russia investigators have sent a request to the Treasury Department’s criminal investigation division for any information related to President Donald Trump, his top officials and his campaign aides, the top Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee told CNN Tuesday.

“We’ve made a request, to FinCEN in the Treasury Department, to make sure, not just for example vis-a-vis the President, but just overall our effort to try to follow the intel no matter where it leads,” Sen. Mark Warner told CNN. “You get materials that show if there have been, what level of financial ties between, I mean some of the stuff, some of the Trump-related officials, Trump campaign-related officials and other officials and where those dollars flow — not necessarily from Russia.”

FinCEN is the federal agency that has been investigating allegations of foreign money-laundering through purchases of US real estate. The news comes just a few days after the revelation that Senate investigators sent broad-based requests for documents to four key potential witnesses in their probe: former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former adviser Roger Stone and former foreign policy adviser Carter Page.

After more than a week of protests and arrests, city workers put up a fence Wednesday around the Jefferson Davis monument in Mid City.

The contractor, who was paid $300 to drop the fence off, said he had no idea he was dropping off fencing to be erected around the monument. And he said since his workers dropped off the fencing, he has gotten death threats and his home address has been published online.

The contractor said someone called his company asking him to pick up fencing on the westbank and drop it off at Canal and S. Jefferson Davis Parkway.

He said after the job was completed, his company's phone line was flooded with calls and threats from people across the country.

"Specifically, they said they were going to burn me, they were going to burn my trucks, they were going to come to my yard and protest, they're not gonna let my trucks leave the yard, they going to protest all day long,  and one woman from Mississippi specifically said she's going to make sure that I'm going to get burned and my truck is going to get burned. That's how bad it is," the contractor said.

Golf writer James Dodson claims Eric Trump told him in 2014 that all the funding for Trump golf courses comes from Russia while the two were at one of the family's clubs.

"As we were setting off, I said, 'Eric, who's funding? I know no banks — because of the recession, the Great Recession — have touched a golf course. You know, no one's funding any kind of golf construction. It's dead in the water the last four or five years,'" Dodson told Boston public radio station WBUR-FM about golfing with the president's son at Trump National Golf Club in Charlotte, N.C.

"He said, 'Well, we don't rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.' I said, 'Really?' And he said, 'Oh, yeah. We've got some guys that really, really love golf, and they're really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.' Now that was three years ago, so it was pretty interesting."
