It's obvious to anyone who has read your posts that you're both eloquent, and the opinions expressed by both of you have merits. This Board is indeed about Politics & Debate, and you're doing an excellent job at debating.
It seems to me, however, that all your recent posts are off topic. The original post was about the effect the European Crisis has on the rights and liberties of the gay community. You've turned it into a political debate about the crisis and its causes, and you've both strayed from the topic.

Andy, LB, Uwe, and the rest of the staff, you are doing an excellent job! I suspect there are only a few users who realize your workload and the strains you have to come up with, all for their advantage. The fact that there may be some bad uploaders who are willing to exploit the "cracks" in the system, does not diminish the quality of your work. It's about time all users showed some responsibility. Your current ratio is 0.331 and your minimum allowed ratio is 0.350. It's not a big difference and you should be able to cover it quite easily.
Since your download rights have been temporarily revoked, that leaves you with three options:
a) Wait. There may soon be users that will decide to download the torrents you are seeding. On the other hand, this may not happen soon enough. So, I don't recommend that option.
b) You have 319 seedbonus points. You can exchange some of them to add 1 GB or even 2.5 GB to your upload, thus reaching and surpassing your minimum allowed ratio.
c) Upload a new torrent. It's relatively easy if you use the Quick Torrent Maker. Currently you can't download it, so I hope you already have it. If you don't, you can still create a torrent file with your bittorent client. Read the Upload Guide:

Personally I think you should seriously consider options b and c.

That's a very interesting topic and I thought I should revive it.

I like books in general (fiction and non-fiction) and I read a lot. But my favorite genre is speculative fiction (sci-fi & fantasy). I'm glad to see that there are many sci-fi/fantasy fans in this topic. My favorite author is probably Norman Spinrad and my favorite book is "Agent of Chaos", a political sci-fi novel written by Spinrad in 1967.
As far as the homoerotic literature (or literature with gay main characters), I've read many books, but none of them seemed to reach high literary standards. Any suggestions?

All I'm about to say is that my results should put everyone to shame!  :cens:

I saw the announcement at the home page, but the latest stable version for Mac is 1.7.13 (build 28436) not 1.6.5 (build 27624) which was the previous stable version. But since I don't have a Mac I can't check its compatibility with our tracker.

Finally some good news!! The latest μTorrent version for Windows is stable and what's important is that it's totally compatible with GT.ru's tracker!! I've just installed it and everything works fine. All seeding and leeching activity is normal. The version I'm talking about is μTorrent 3.2.2 Stable (build 28500).

I didn't know Tim but I felt the need to pay my respects. I've read several of his posts (he was quite prolific!) and many of them made me laugh. He was quite a character and made many friends.
