RE: upload ratio helpposted in GayTorrent.ru Support Discussions
@eobox91103 i lost my first 2tb of material that started back in 2008 including all my jockphysical collection straight from the site - i was the first to upload anyhting from jockphysical... was sad to see him get murdered. I had stuff on there I cant find anywhere online.
but after that catastrophic data loss
I finally have mirrored everything i get now in a system. Seedbox has improved this all drastically. i have dual 20TB mirrored now im good for awhile.after getting seedbox I went on a splurge and downloaded now like 4tb+ of stuff ive wanted and now my ratio and buffer is huge.
Im done losing data.

RE: Torrent V2 size discrepancyposted in GayTorrent.ru Support Discussions
@tnar Interesting... at least you only get docked for what you actually download. Thats good
-
RE: Torrent V2 size discrepancyposted in GayTorrent.ru Support Discussions
@tnar idk if this matters or is relevant...
I had dual 20tb hard drives mirrored with Exfat format with lots of content.... the content files were showing much much larger sizes on that hard drive than they did on my NTFS drives.
I moved it all to dual NTFS drives and the size went way down more compact.
Apparently its mainly worse if theres tons of small files. They have 'padding' or whatever that goes into it. Maybe its something like that?
And you can see the actual amount of data transferred with the download on your local client... is that different than the site data?
So for example if the servers are Exfat they would see a larger size on disk etc.
Or how AI sees it...

RE: error: invalid download state, try resumingposted in Downloading
Invalid state:
-
Interrupted Download: The download process might have been interrupted unexpectedly (e.g., due to a power outage, system crash, or network disconnection). This can leave the downloaded files in an incomplete or corrupted state.
-
File Movement or Renaming: If you've moved or renamed the downloaded files or the download folder outside of the torrent client, the software can lose track of them, leading to this error.
Disk Errors: Problems with your hard drive can cause data corruption, resulting in an invalid download state. -
Incompatible Software: In rare cases, other software interfering with the torrent client's access to the files can cause this issue.
-
Client Restart: Sometimes, the error appears after restarting the torrent client, indicating that it couldn't properly resume the previous state.
-
Network Issues: Intermittent network problems could disrupt the download and lead to an inconsistent state.
Invalid Data:
-
list itemCorrupted Download: Pieces of the file might have been downloaded incorrectly due to network issues, peer problems, or interruptions.
Disk Errors: As mentioned before, hard drive problems can lead to data corruption after it has been downloaded. -
Incomplete Download: The error might appear if the download is significantly incomplete.
Problems with Part Files: Torrent clients often use temporary "part files" during the download process. Errors with these files can sometimes lead to "data is invalid" messages. -
Skipping Files During Download: If you chose to skip certain files within a torrent, it can sometimes cause issues with the integrity of the downloaded parts of the other files.
-
Corrupted Torrent File: Although less common, a corrupted torrent file could provide incorrect data for verification.

@jokuihmemies make sure the torrent is still alive and healthy. if it is then its likely something on your end. do the basics, restart program / pc... maybe restart the torrent.

@ianfontinell-0 btw... they are so chill that after you use up your data it STILL lets you upload just like lowered I think the highest i saw was 10MiB upload after my data ran out. I basically got 3TB of free upload from them.
