By the by, I know you don’t know terribly much about any of the topics we’re discussing here… but it would really help you to understand a couple, really easy, things:

      1. I’m center-right in my thinking and actions... slightly conservative.
      2. Where I’m from, the Liberals are the far right

I know this kind of goes against everything you think and believe (... have been told to believe...), but there you are! The world just happens to be that but more complex than your rather basic model implies.

      Good luck!

Would hate to take your comment erroneously. I don’t mischaracterise people’s comments if I can help it! So sorry.

      More crap from the lefty.

If I don't view things exactly as you do, then I'm uninformed.

You claim to be clued in on the news, but called it CTs that your side has called for communist style re-education camps, blacklists, tribunals and what not to punish Trump supporters.   If you actually watched the news, real news, you would have seen the videos and social media posts from liberals calling for those things. But of course, you watch only leftist news so you haven't seen it.

More crap from the righty. If I don’t believe in conspiracy theories and believe everything he says without any evidence, I must be “low information”.

I tell you what… why don’t you prove that everyone in the left is calling for all the things you say they are, rather than just repeating the claim over and over and over again? Surely that would be the intelligent thing to do... prove me wrong? Go on... go for it!

But I warn you... If you point to isolated incidents by no-body’s making these... demands... I’m going to say: yes, exactly what I said... there are fools and idiots on both sides!

But, of course, you only watch right wing silly made up stations on YouTube, so you have no idea what’s actually going on... chowing to believe someone who is not credible, not very intelligent and makes stuff up demonstrably all the time just to appease a certain group of not terribly intelligent followers.

Slightly saddening that people believe that their governmental systems are so faulty that they wouldn’t investigate wide-spread voter fraud… if they were presented with any evidence of it.

Do you guys really think so little of your fellow Americans who work in these organisations? Do you think they all have been sworn to some secrecy that’s so powerful, people like Snowdon won’t exist?

I suspect it’s more likely that there just isn’t any evidence that they could build a case on.

I think it's time Trump supporters, and conservatives in general, give back as good as we got over the last 4+ years.

      Turnabout is fair play.

I would love to see that… rather than continued nonsense made up stories. I would encourage it! That would be a much better way of debating and showing your quality than what is being done at the moment.

So I didn't 'try' anything - I said (if you would ever bother to read what I write) that you are either ignorant or a racist… and so you were instead ignorant.  I don't really think that improves anything.  It takes all of 2 seconds to look up someone's name.

      Whelp, that ends our discussions.

Hah! Typical of the not very capable right wing… soon as someone does to then what they do to others, they get all upset and run off crying 🤣

Well, clearly you’re not able to provide anything like what is required to prove your claims... and so we can safely ignore them as made up nonsense by biased people.

Blah, blah, blah   Your claims are garbage.

You have no clue about anything, and you keep admitting it.

You admit that you can believe that some liberals have said it, but you then go on to say that you have seen no direct proof of it, despite you claiming to be so clued in on what is going on.

I bet you still believe Shifty Schiff's claim that he has absolute proof of Russian collusion or that Antifa is a myth.

And yet again, more whataboutery. Really it does make you look incredibly uninformed and not very clever… I really would stop doing it if I were you. Unless you’re intentionally trying to make your side of things look bad?

Again you claim I have no clue... whilst continually demonstrating you don’t have any clue at all about the things you’re talking about. And having that demonstrated publicly too... now I don’t mind if someone demonstrates I’m wrong about something, but I’ll wager your rather fragile sense of self worth doesn’t handle it so well. Hence the lack of ability to reply in any cognisant way.

Pity really... I’m always keen to meet people from the more extremes who can actually think and respond well. Guess I won’t find that in you.

      @raphjd:

You claimed to be educated and up to date on the news, yet you claim you haven't seen any proof, just CTs.

Tucker is more clued in than you since he has heard/read the comments you claim you have never heard/read.  Just because you admit some might be like that, you still haven't seen/heard anyone say it.   Clearly, you aren't as clued in as you like to think you are.

Constantly, MSM ignores crimes that go against the leftist agenda.  That is why people like you don't seem to know anything about anything, unless Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo and Rachel Maddow tell you about it, even if it's a blatant lie, like Chris Cuomo being on his death bed from C-19, despite being out jogging every day and all the other lies.

2016 - Russia stole the election

      2020 - our elections can't be stolen

Has the leftist MSM said anything about the lies told by the Obama admin on TV versus what they said in the secret hearings in the bunker?  NO, they haven't because it defeats their narrative.

And just as an aside… you’ve misrepresented, again, what people have said about the 2016 and 2020 elections. Let me correct your assertions for you:

2016 - Russian interference altered the election result (evidence provided)

2020 - we have no evidence of any election interference or fraud

I hope you can see the difference in that... and no, they’re not the same. Really, really, obviously.

For apparently being so clued up, you really do miss the obvious stuff, don’t you?

And this leads to another inescapable conclusion... you’ve either claimed this because a) you didn’t understand the original point or b) you’re lying to try and ‘win’.

      Which one?

And now you’ve defended into whatsboutery… please, for goodness sake, stick to the topic! It only makes you look like you have no clue about what you’re talking about. Not a good look!

I also said, again if you would bother reading and understanding what I’ve said, that I really don’t care if a few crazy liberals say stupid things. Just like I don’t care if a few crazy right-wingers say crazy things. Obviously. Because they’re irrelevant. To everyone. And should be just as irrelevant to you.

Again, please provide the proof of your belief about media outlets ignoring issues or not reporting them.

Please don’t spout on about more issues thinking that’s going to prove your point: it doesn’t. It’s called whataboutery, as I said above, and you need to prove the point - not constantly go on about this and that other story or whatever which you also claim to know about when others don’t. That will prove nothing much at all apart from you can make a whole bunch of claims - which we all can. But, is meaningless.

All it means is you’ll retrench into “I believe this stuff” and I’ll have only to constantly run around disproving every claim you come up with (ok, I can’t know I’ll be able to disprove every one... I’m sure... hopeful... some are real!).

As an aside, I can find plenty of far left people criticising left leaning centrists, and vice versa. Easily. So this stuff is very much available for those able to use Google...

I didn't remember her name, so I described her.

She did not make a mistake.  She lied.  She even bragged about lying on her social media.

She is still part of the fact-checkers used by FB and Twitter.

BTW, I would have called her "that fat white chick" if she were white.  Nice try at making everything "racist" though.  Maybe that's why you think Priti Patel is a racist because everything is racist to you.

So I didn't 'try' anything - I said (if you would ever bother to read what I write) that you are either ignorant or a racist… and so you were instead ignorant.  I don't really think that improves anything.  It takes all of 2 seconds to look up someone's name.

No, saying "that fat white chick" would not have improved things and I would have called you out on that as well.

Please provide the evidence to support your claim that she lied rather than making a mistake.  As her tweets seem to suggest otherwise: https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/new-yorker-apologizes-for-worker-claiming-ice-worker-had-nazi-tattoo-1.6196886

Second response as it deserves one entirely.

What on Earth does the fact that Talia Lavin is either fat or black have to do with this story? Are you suggesting that because she is fat, she made this mistake? Or because she is black? Or does it have to be both?

I’m really hopeful that those very simple questions - which toy should have asked yourself before posting - should show you that starting a posting like that is either a) ignorant or b) racist.

      Which one are you?

And now for the real story of that one…

A New Yorker associate, who made a personal inaccurate assumption about a veteran’s tattoos on her personal Twitter page, has had the tweet taken down and has had the anew Yorker distance themselves from her.

So, yet again, it’s kind of a non story... unless people making personal comments on their Twitter can somehow be related to fact checking... but I can’t see any way to make that link. Perhaps you can explain it?

And lastly: edit your post to remove the silly beginnings. It’s making you look very foolish indeed - and that’s not what you should be achieving with your posts.

      https://www.gpb.org/news/2020/12/01/battleground-blog-sterling-republicans-we-need-you-step-and-defend-elections

This is what an adult who is tired, pissed off and fed up sounds when dealing with morally bankrupt people.

American Trump supporters need to be very careful with how they proceed if they are going to be keen to be seen as democratic, law abiding and patriotic. As this man said, these are not the actions of those kinds of people.

So disappointed Trump supporters have 2 options:
      1. Be complicit with these actions by not condemning them
      2. Condemn these actions and be morally sound for the next election

I hope they will pick 2. I fear they’ll go for 1… damaging America’s democracy in the process.

And now for the real story:

PolitiFact labelled false a video by Candace Owens in which she claimed that President-Elect Joe Biden was not yet legally the President-Elect. Ms Owens submitted a claim to them and also got lawyers involved, requesting it was reviewed. PolitiFact duly reviewed the video and agreed with Ms Owens and removed the censorship.

Not really very much of a story… but the right-wing brigade, who seem to all feel attacked all the time, are very pleased because they think it shows the bias of fact checkers.

Reality: shows that everyone can make mistakes and that PolitiFact has good appeal systems.  Also shows that right-wing folks are a bit precious and like to get lawyers involved... when there’s no need to. Where do they get the money from? Or is it all just no-win, no fee?

If you actually were as clued in as you think you are, then you would know that liberals have said these things and are not so conspiracy theory.   Tucker Carlson and many others have actually shown these liberals saying this stuff, either on video or in social media posts.   The fact that you don't know this, shows you are just another low information liberal.

You are just making excuses for liberal media won't report on black on white interracial crime in the same way they report on white on black crime.

Like most of Europe, Sadiq Khan has called crime stats and crime reporting "racist" because of the facts and figures.  It's why some countries no longer record the races of the criminal.   In the UK, you can always tell if the criminal is white because they tell you, but if they are non-white they leave the race out of the article.

      Oh dear me…

You’re sighting Tucker Carson as your ‘evidence’? Really?? Wow... I hope that’s a joke... that man is the definition of “low information”. Hahahaha! This will be cake to tear apart... as usual from the truly uneducated and clueless right wing fools.

So, I’ve said a couple times now that I’m sure people like that do exist. I’ve also said several times now that it doesn’t matter and that it doesn’t mean everyone is like that. Are you a racist, uneducated cretin? Because I can find plenty of videos and social media posts by right wing imbeciles who are those things - and so you must be too, by your logic... right?

I seem to have to keep repeating myself with you. Why is that? Is there some difficulty you have with understanding what I’m saying that means you can’t follow my reason and logic? If so, please tell me so I can work on it more carefully with you. I don’t want to ignore peoples handicaps.

Yet again you’re claiming something I have seen no evidence for: provide the evidence that supports your claim that the media isn’t reporting these things as much. If you don’t have evidence... then this is just your belief. And is worthless. Simply: I don’t believe you... you’re just saying these things because you want to believe them.

What you’ve just claimed about the U.K. media is demonstrably untrue. All you would need to do would be a simple google search to show that. There are plenty of papers who report people's race alongside what they’re talking about. However... as should be insanely obvious to you... it’s irrelevant what their race is in relation to a crime. It doesn’t matter if they are white or black or brown. This has absolutely nothing to do with their crime - unless it is a racially motivated crime. I really don’t know why I’m having to explain this to someone who claims to be ‘in the know’ and obviously thinks they know so very much more than others... but there we are.

You’re not really demonstrating your amazing knowledge, are you? Come on... if you’re so clued up, you should be able to run rings around me... instead you refer to Tucker Carlson, you repeat yourself and you make baseless and actually inaccurate claims... surely, surely someone who’s clued up could do better than this?! Even Tucker Carson would think you’re doing a bad job here... just like he did with Sydney Powell! 🤣

      @raphjd:

So, tweets from liberals themselves, not just "conspiracy theories", hasn't been something you have seen.  HUH.

As I said, liberals are low information.  They don't know anything unless Rachel Maddow and the like tell them.

      You are laughable.

Dylan Roof became infamous because he was white and shot up a black church.

Emanuel Samson didn't get the same notoriety because he was black and shot up a white church.

MSM rarely covers black on white crime.  It's because they want to portray blacks as the victims in everything.

Your first sentence either doesn't make sense or is meaningless… mind trying again?

Again, right-wing conservatives are uneducated and so don't know how to put together sentences... they also don't understand difficult arguments that have nuance and complexity to them... they're just not very intelligent people who like to pretend they have 'the truth' on their side, all the time whilst pointing to nonsense and conspiracy theories...

So you disagree with me... and your way of disproving my points is... to state your same argument again... right...

So... as that seems to be the way you think you can convince others that you're right, here's what I wrote again for you:
And why has Dylan Roof become more well known?  Well, it's probably for a number of reasons - none of them because he was white and not black.  I can think of 2 reasons right off the bat:
      1. It was a racially motivated attack... which is much more hated by the general populace than a 'revenge for racial prejudice' attack...
      2. He killed 9 people instead of 1... (mass murderer instead of 'just' a murderer)
There are probably more, but I'm a good representative for what others will no doubt see of the same two crimes.

Please do provide me the research that shows that black crimes against white people are less reported in all the main news outlets than white crimes against black people.  I would love to see that!  I've done a good-old-Google search and can find loads of times when black people committing crimes are reported there... and I can find loads of times when white people have committed crimes against black people.  So I expect this huge piece of research to be quite a massive undertaking... I really look forward to you sharing those results with me!

    • RE: The GSA has informed the President-elect that the Trump administration is ready

      @ManHandler:

      Well, you made three cases.

Your first case is correct pretty fully, the basics of what truth represents and how we can know if something is true. That is a pretty good way to know if something is true. That has nothing to do with this particular case, just cases in general. Truth is obvious. I applaud that statement.

Your next case however, is very lacking, as is the one after that. You state as fact that every piece of evidence so far is totally invalid. That's where you go from one extreme to the next. And it's absurd.

Then your next case is that Trump is just having fun, or the evidence I've presented is just silly. Well. You're about to find out otherwise. And you'd make a terrible lawyer, I'd eat you alive. You're pathetic.

Great!  I'm glad we finally found something we can agree on.  We agree on what constitutes evidence…

We only now disagree on whether the 'evidence' that has been collected so far is indeed evidence.  Or only claims.

The things which make me think it is not evidence are as follows:
      1. These claims have been struck down in every court when asked for evidence to support them… Trump has only one 1 case so far... and it didn't make much difference for him.  So... why are the people claiming these things not using the 'evidence' you claim is so clear and evident...? Why haven't all these cases been won?
      2. The claims seem to constantly change... from one moment to another... soon as it's been shown not to be the case enough times, a new claim mysteriously appears.  This doesn't mean that it's wrong... but it's suspicious... highly.
      3.  I've used my 4 points to test each piece of evidence... and none of them stands up to those tests.

So please now explain to me how my belief that the evidence so far is invalid is "absurd"?  It's not an extreme view at all - merely a view formed by looking at the information critically (which is how you work out whether it's valid or not) and analysing as I have outlined above.

I see you fall into my number 2 - you think you're much much more impressive than everyone in Trump's legal and campaign teams... as you "know what's going on" (more than everyone else... and yet don't provide any of this information to anyone else so they can know too... instead claiming it and not backing it up...) and "can see the evidence is clear" (despite everything saying to the contrary and you not, again, providing any of this evidence for anyone to see).

I look forward to finding out otherwise!  I keep asking you the same questions on this though: when and where?  Can I see anything on this ahead of time so I can know the same thing you do?  I want to see the evidence! Share it!  (and, again, claims unsupported by evidence are NOT evidence... just in case you try to say you've provided any evidence at all yet).

And lastly - no one cares what you think about whether you would make a better lawyer than I would.  I suspect you've never been to law school and know very little about law based on your comments... but... then again... Giuliani has been to law school and knows quite a bit about law... and he makes the same claims (albeit in public where he can't be accused of perjury... and not in court... where he could...).  So keep those opinions to yourself - it's too childish and doesn't belong here in an adult conversation.

Ditto name calling.  "You're pathetic" is extremely childish and not worthy of you or your debate.
