Our idiot stick of a prime minister opened the flood gates of immigration a few years back, and it's now to a point where it seems that there are more immigrants (many from places like India, Syria, and Nepal) than there are people who were born and raised here for generations. Sadly, this too includes illegals coming in en mass taking up much needed resources from the people who have been here their whole lives for generations. It's almost as though we've adopted a policy of we care about you if you're from somewhere else, but if you were born and raised here for generations, you just don't matter.

In fact, even in the city I live in now, we have setup all kinds of affordable or otherwise government subsidized housing for immigrants (most of which are from Syria) who are without papers and therefore cannot work, while simultaneously pushing out the people who were born and raised here for generations. Not far from the downtown core, there is actually a "tent city" as us locals are calling it, which consists of what was a vacant lot that has been filled with all kinds of tents that now homeless people are living in. Sadly, many of them have some sort of drug problem, which only makes matters worse on so many levels.

For the people in places like the tent city that has been setup, who have all been born and raised here for generations, there is little to no support and resources available to get help and find affordable or otherwise subsidized housing, but yet a matter of only a few blocks away now sits the largest government subsidized housing complex in the city, and it is almost exclusively illegal immigrants, many of which are trying to claim refugee status.

@raphjd I've said it before and I'll say it again. Most media in North America is but the propaganda mill to push the agenda of the real powers that actually run things. There are issues about charging these cars in many places because of the lack of electricity. As an example, in the UK, they haven't kept up the National Grid for decades, which is why people are limited to only having 4KwH solar panels. We also have to import electricity from the EU because the power generation system hasn't been kept up.

Only the Hyundai/Kia/Genesis has decent charging times, but you are not supposed to use the fast charging system all the time. In fact, most of the time you are supposed to use slow charging to keep the batteries working at their best for the longest time.

I am no expert on this but when I say it made my jaw drop, mean that 1) reality is usually diff from marketing and 2) I was seeing reports that many violent had been released, some even terrorizing their previous victims.

I do want to challenge your sig, about the difference between suicide & martyrdom being just publicity. If we're talking criminals like suicide bombers or the Club Q shooter here, who prob did their crimes for a sense of power & fame (plus the self-destruction), OK fair enough.

But some martyrs are the real deal. That is: some people get tortured or murdered, quite against their wishes & deservings, because some other (evil) people couldn't tolerate their existence.
