NP. Thank you.Very clear. Trying someway casually I had already come to understand the possibility of forcing the manual tracking update which, in my personal experience, worked quickly only with at least two leechers. Nothing to be worried about I'd say though.
A negligible, at least in my case, bandwidth waste

RE: Lost In Space: Finding Love In Gay Online Dating Hookups
Very nice and well written LBC ^_^. So strongly molapproved.
I was wondering though how many of the guys Mike has dated/dates/will date would be up to follow from the beginning to the end his own tale.
Other authors have written about a nowadays visual (or eidetic) summarizing culture which, ironically, would make outdated this very kind of communicative exercices you and me are mebbe still up to appreciate… -
New Torrents Start Seeding Delayed
Well Uwe I use this thread whose title seems adequate.
I notice a slightly different problem.OS Linux Ubuntu 10.04 64
Client Transmission 1.93 (10621)When I seed a new torrent I always observe a big time gap between the moment when the site gets aware of the presence of a single leecher and the moment when the tracker starts the file transfer. In other words I get the feeling the tracker lags a lot in getting aware of the leechers as long as they aren't at least two.

(Philosophical tales I) Freedom and turkeys
After a disastrous experience with a cat I felt strongly disposed to try again but with a dog this time…eh... what the heck! I was led to that by my friend too who lives with a little pet doggie named Foofie since 12 years.
"You see -he once said- Foofie is so tender and affectionate... moreover he doesn't even cost a lot, he eats only 150 g (5 1/2 ounces) of turkey meat a day..."
and in these days of financial difficulties :cry2: these are things that count my dear fellas and friends don't they?
So I said to myself "Ok, tomorrow I will go to the city dog's house and I will look for a Foofie's impersonator to adopt"
But in the sleepless and tortured by mosquitoes night another thing was buzzing too in my mind: a crazy operation:12 x 365 x 150 = 657000 g --> 657 Kg --> 1450 pounds
Since the meat my friend fed Foofie with was without bones or other scraps, this approximately corresponded to the need of 300 big turkeys.
So, I wondered, the possibility of this 12 years long adventure of my friend with Foofie had costed the life of 300 poor turkeys and this thing made me so uneasy... so uneasy my dear fellas and friends... but, at a given point, suddenly, the enlightenment...
BINGO! I will get a turkey as a pet! :jaj: Butt, butt, butt... There was still something stopping me... strange I'd say... didn't seem to me a feeling of pity for the grain. ??? -
RE: Life After the Westboro Baptist Church
Glad to know you agree LBC
BTW, following your argument, I had forgotten to say that the monks of Hadrumetum were not exactly a bunch of idiots run away from a mental hospital but a western ramification of a kind of theological thought which was named "apophatic". Nothing to be worried about I'd say since those dudes simply thought that the thing/things you can say about god is/are -
RE: Life After the Westboro Baptist Church
Very well LBC, I second that of course. I have to admit I dunno much of the different churches of America. But, generally speaking, one could think that, if the churches are many, you could even goto search the better one for you. This thing would be instead precluded in a state/nation where single predominant churches/religions exist or, even worse, in a confessional state where the state and the religion/church mix juxtaposing themselves, right?

RE: Life After the Westboro Baptist Church
Of course LBC. I agree . Sadly it didn't happen but for Nate though if I've well understood. And if it was only for the Westboro Baptist Church we could even afford to say amen to this don't you think? :). A more interesting -from a philosophical point of view- fact could be that this thing is not generally happening and, generally speaking, didn't happen since the last 2000 years or stuff. This is more worrying instead cause my beloved monks of Hadrumetum were really very very nicely angry and had nuts bigger than a bear, even bigger than those of a killer whale ;D. So they answered to their "lovely" bros approximately this way:
"Our
dear beloved brothersif we both assumed that this god is almighty, omiscient and present everywhere at the same time, we should also conclude that it's indeed a very different thing from every thing and from every fact we could meet in our world experience. And, since our conceptions unavoidably stem from our world experience, we must conclude that it's impossible to catch any divine aspects from those coceptions thmeselves".4 torpedoes to the mark, hit and sunk.
So LBC why in your opinion after 2000 years they are still there?

RE: Life After the Westboro Baptist Church
Well LBC, while our personal misfortunes are far from negligible since, after all, they are the ones we personally live not being all equally thick-skinned, I'd always like though, especially if one wanted to speak for or advocate others, to listen also to more general approaches.
Already 1600 years ago the monks of Hadrumetum in their dispute against Augustine and the augustinism didn't understand the reasons for the prayer and for a "virtuous" and painful way of life to oppose to other possible ways if our destiny is preestablished by a god in any case. But their interlocutors were far far away from that rough and childishly sadist Nate Phelps's father and so, concerning the necessity of looking at the facts in the first place, answered approximately this way:"Our
dear belovedmonks, you must not imagine your position in the universe as if you were wrestlers wearing out yourselves vs a stronger opponent because, as a matter of fact, you/we live immersed in all the series of the facts of the life. We call some of these facts which come before "causes" and the following ones "effects". So your mistake simply stems from the fact that you only consider the last final fact (your destination to the paradise or the hell) as preestablished leaving into indetermination all the preceding series. But unluckily for you it is not so"Later LBC they went even beyond go figure. :crazy2: They wondered about the god's possibility of subverting his own judgement laws coming to the conclusion that god could do it de potentia absoluta being almighty but didn't do it de potentia ordinata cause he felt the need of being coherent with himself
The less we could say against this bunch of atrocious rubbish should not be a Russell's citation about these facts given in a hurry but… ?
