High school teacher charged after locking COVID-positive 13-year-old child in trunk to 'quarantine'
-
She locked her own kid in the trunk of her car.
If you read the note at the bottom, the kid is 13, not 14. The headline and article were corrected, but the link could not be.

@raphjd This whole covid thing has gotten way out of hand and people are just taking it to an extreme. I wish people could just react logically instead of getting into fist fights on planes because someone isn't wearing a mask.
Since this post they did fix the website to saying 13. -
I know the article and headline were fixed, but the link (see my OP) wasn't changed because it can't without messing up the article.

In Florida (where I live and am an activist for children's rights), a mother was jailed when neighbors heard the extended screams of a child coming from a home.
It seems the mother locked her 2-year old in the bathroom - with the lights out - knowing the child was terrified of the dark - because she had "messed herself" (she was potty-training).
Neighbors reported the child's screams had persisted for over 15 minutes before police were called, and continued until police arrived about 15 more minutes later.
The "mother" was taken into custody for "aggravated child abuse", the child was put into foster care.
My point is: child abusers don't need an excuse like COVID-19 to abuse children!
Hopefully this teacher is removed from any and all professions that involve supervision of children!

WOW! finally you agree with me on something. -

I agree that a calmer approach is needed: Instead of a fist fight, just escort the offender out of the aircraft's door. Ideally this would be done at the gate with the jetbridge attached, but it's also effective if the plane is flying at 10,000 feet.

You're going to get negative feedback on that, but I for one appreciate and enjoy the sarcasm!
