3rd Capitol Cop who responded to 6 Jan commits suicide
-
Gunther Hashida, 43, was found dead in his home.
He worked for the Capitol Police's Special Operations Division's Emergency Response Team.
It's odd that 3 of the cops that responded have now committed suicide.
Did they have dirt on Hillary?
-
What kind of people are being hired to protect the Capitol? I don't think it is a good idea to have suicidal people with guns in proximity to the president, Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Romney, Murkowski, Waters, AOC, Omar, Tlaib, and Nadler.. oh wait.. what am I saying? That is a FANTASTIC idea!
-
According to some sites, he is the 4th to commit suicide.

I'm sorry, but making fun of 4 federal policemen who suffered from PTSD as a result of the Jan 6 insurrection by claiming that they "had dirt on Hillary" is abusive and disgusting.
These were patriots of the highest measure. And their experiences from Jan 6 were too much for them to bear.
- Yes, it's OK to ask if we need better psychological screening of Capitol Police Offices
- Yes, it's OK to ask if we (as a nation) need to improve our handling of psych issues as a whole
- No, it's NOT OK to use these people as political fodder for baseless conspiracy theories... that's just "in poor taste"
Have some human decency?
-
Odd that you quoted a different post from the one you are complaining about.
Why should I care about the police?
And, it's you people that use 6 Jan for your political agenda.

Mea culpa - I "quoted" the last post in the thread vs. the offensive one above it.
I apologize... unlike you, I actually make a mistake from time to time... (actually, I make mistakes every day... it's part of being human in an active society)In fact, you were also correct when you point out that these last 2 suicides make 4 officers who have succumbed to PTSD or other mental illness as a result of Jan 6 and taken their own lives as a result.
As for why you should care about the police? Hmmmm,.... maybe because - at least in this country - they carry guns and have the ability to crash into your home without notice for whatever reason they seem fit! It'd be nice to think that they'd be mentally stable with those "powers" - so that they wouldn't be making the decision to storm into my house, guns drawn - because it was a Poke-Gym and they needed points!
-
Exactly. Why the fuck should I care about them?!
Until we have massive police reforms, police are the enemy of the people.
Most do not have mental health issues unless you call "dirty as fuck" a mental health issue.
Police will violate your constitutional, legal, and human rights, then hide behind Qualified Immunity.
It's twice as hard to become a barber as it is to become a cop.

I may not be as extreme as you (maybe because I know and like several local policemen and an FBI agent), but I agree: policing in America is broken.
And the point about training is one I've made several times: our Police need more training, and not MILITARY training! They're too militarized as it is!
-
It's not just the US.
UK cops are dirty as fuck, because they have Absolute Immunity.
Just in England alone, there are 245 cops who were convicted of felonies while on duty. They got to keep their jobs.
The first 2 points in their code of conduct are; 1. don't bring the police into disrepute, and 2. don't allow another officer to bring the police into disrepute.
The "I'll make some shit up, who are they gonna believe, me or you, who are they gonna believe" cop and his 6 fellow cops on the scene were found to have not to have violated the police code of conduct.
Police routinely remove their identifying shoulder numbers, to make it impossible to identify them to file a complaint. Even if you have a video or photo of them, you can not file a complaint without their shoulder number.

Your ID is like crack or meth to a cop.
They aren't interested in helping you, they want to criminalize you.
They are either liars or idiots when it comes to ID laws, despite ID laws are the most common laws police use.
In all but 4 states, you do not have to identify unless you are lawfully arrested. Most cops will unlawfully arrest you for not IDing.
"You are being suspicious" is not a crime, no matter what the pigs claim.
There was a shooting of a young woman, where the police hid the body cam and other evidence for over 2 years. This is not a one-off or an accident. It's a constant problem.
The FBI is extremely dirty, as we saw with the Hillary and Trump cases. Not only that, they have Absolute Immunity and fully believe they are above and beyond the law. Their "Professional Standards" is a fucking joke. You can break someone's arm because you don't like that that person is engaged in lawful activities.
You can be dirty as fuck and the world knows it, but you can always get another job at another PD.
Arizona's Brady law, while a good concept, is useless because dirty cops don't always get put on it, even for the most blatantly dirty one, and "good" cops quite often get put on it in retaliation for whistleblowing.
Policing is the 3rd most common profession for psychopaths, after law and medical.

It's not hard to find evidence of bad cops. But there are also some GOOD cops
But, yes: if you want to find pedophiles, look for jobs that put the sicko's in charge of children!- teachers
- coaches
- summer camp counselors
- priests (specifically, youth pastors)
- Scout leaders (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, you name it)
That doesn't mean they're all pedophiles, just that the jobs are going to be attractive to pedophiles!
Lots of pyromaniacs become firemen - and some of them actually become fire-starters!
And the same goes for bullies and psychopaths: they're drawn to professions where they are given power and authority over others:
- Policing
- Security Guards
- Social workers
You get the point...
- There are GREAT teachers out there.. but there are some pedophiles out there too
- There are GREAT firemen out there... but some are SETTING the very files they fight
- There are GREAT policemen out there... but there are some abusers out there too
-
@raphjd Maybe you don't care about the police, but you should care about human beings. And that you don't care about this guy, it says more about you, than it says about him.

You forgot parents.
Seriously, I wrote a long post as a reply to this thread and I deleted it all because as much as I would love for this forum to be a place to debate power & sexuality, law, surveillance, enforcement, punishment, entitlement, morality/ethics, the state and all those things that affect us directly in our daily lives today, I have never once in my life felt good after sharing online. Especially since I feel people like Nietzsche and Foucault said much (if not all) there is to say about it a while ago.
But I hear what you guys are saying and I really hope that in my lifetime, I will be able to enjoy the kind of solidarity in radical conversations and dangerous thought-sharing between gay cis-males that existed when it was called "gay rights".
-
Are you using the old GWB logic of "hate the sin (police), love the sinner (cop)"?
Until you can prove to me that he never, ever violated his oath and always followed the law, he's just another dirty pig.
The internet is full of dirty pigs.
The police fought all the way up to the US Supreme Court and won the right to lie to us to further their goal. They won, thanks to the dirty pig centric SCOTUS
The police fought all the way up to the US Supreme Court and won the right not to give a fuck about our safety. Once again, the dirty pig loving SCOTUS sided with them.
The police fought all the way up to the US Supreme Court and won the special right that everyone has to cuck to THEIR safety. As expected, it was the dirty pig worshipping SCOTUS that licked their balls.

Don't feel like you can't or should not post here.

@raphjd That is very kind of you to say. But all my life's experience tells me otherwise. I'm one of those ungrateful angry gay misanthropes that still don't trust the state, the police, the people's majority or anyone pretending they have a say in how I live my life. Like you maybe, I don't know. But that anger almost killed me. I don't want to fit in anymore. I can't fit in anymore. I'm allergic to the city, to the very idea of being a citizen, of being in the world. I have to take medication to prevent my heart from litterally exploding when I'm exposed to the stupidity that drives the weaks' will to power. The best decision I ever made was to make a full Thoreau: run for my life to the woods as a hermit and only allow near me the very few men not afraid to think for themselves. Masturbation is a hermit's best friend in that it prevents him from giving his time and energy to the hordes of unworthy virgins that come begging for attention.

It is our loss - regardless of your point of view, you write well.

Agreed.
