Hello,
My friend's private contents got uploaded here.
I asked him to send a DMCA yesterday so the torrent can be removed, but he never hear anything back and the torrent is still active.
Can you help me? He's a dear friend of mine.Thank you.

If you have already reported it via e-mail to [email protected] you could also mention it in a "report" on the torrent in question.
Just an idea... I know the e-mail is the official mechanism...

@bi4smooth Ok, thank you I will try it

I also wanted to add (just as a warning to folks who post their own homemade videos online, expecting them to remain private)...
DMCA applies to copyrighted works - as-in professional works that have been protected by filing copyright notices with the Gov't.
If your friend's homemade fuck-video with his boyfriend got stolen from his Facebook or something, he's got no real legal justification for getting it taken down - even if he is the author and/or star of the video!
I believe many sites like "OnlyFans" actually DO copyright their content for the benefit of their subscribers... but that starts to get "deep" into legal issues... and I am NOT a lawyer! My knowledge of Copyright law in the US comes from an MBA program... let's just say MORE THAN 20 years ago... and my own experience with source code copyrights...

@bi4smooth It's his OnlyFans.
He got really sad that his nudes got leaked and also the bad things this uploader said in the torrent's description are not true.

Let's say the private, online erotic contents of a person were uploaded here -- or anywhere public -- by someone who did so "with the intent to annoy or harass the victim without their consent" (see first citation).
If the uploader could be identified, is there potentially some degree of legal recourse related to various "revenge porn" laws being enacted in the U.S.?
At least, the article makes for an interesting read -- the status of all 50 states are noted, and the laws vary widely.

...and for other countries:

You know, I used to like free porn. Sharing and downloading it.
But after witnessing and experiencing this happened to your friend..
And see him got depressed because of it.
It's heartbreaking... Really heartbreaking...I wish I can find out why our DMCA didn't work. It's still not removed..
